Most Samsung TVs have an option to set a 4 digit PIN to lock some of the settings and apps. Keep housemates or family members from changing your TV settings by changing the PIN - just see the steps below.

The generic PIN for Samsung TVs is 0000 - or four zeros.

Set a PIN for a Samsung TV:

1 While your TV is on, press the Home Button Home button on your Samsung remote control and then select Setting Settings.
Eden Menu/Smart Hub
2 On the left hand side, scroll down to the General tab and choose System Manager from the centre menu.
System Manager
3 Once you are on the System Manager page, press down on your remote control to highlight Change PIN and then press enter on your control.
Change PIN
4 When you select Change PIN, a pop up will appear. If this is your first time changing the PIN on your TV, remember that the default PIN is "0000". If it isn't the first time changing the PIN, enter the current PIN number followed by your new PIN.
Enter PIN Number
