This not only improves the sound of my tv programming but my gaming as well. The sub-woofer is absolutely amazing, even at a +1 level. And being a diehard Dodgers fan, hearing the crack of the bat and the pop of the glove much more clearly is just incredible. Set-up took "maybe" 10 minutes and was so easy. The toughest part was actually getting behind my tv. At this price point, I cannot recommend it enough. If you are relying only on your tv speakers, you are seriously missing out.

Dialogue clarity is solid—voices come through cleanly, which means I didn’t have to crank the volume or keep pausing to rewind because I missed something. Setup was painless: one HDMI ARC cable (though note: you may need to buy an HDMI cable if it’s not included, since many report only optical cable comes in the box). The low-profile design doesn’t block the bottom of my TV screen or look too bulky under the stand. Good value for the price. Many users say the upgrade from their TV speakers was clearly noticeable.

Let me tell you what, this thing freaks me out occasionally because its surround sound ability and subwoofers low end notes can create an almost unreal sound effect that had me.looking around the room as if someone was speaking behind me in perfect clarity. Beyond that the bass hits pretty dang well and the overall loudness and easy to use functions made this guy a solid fave!

We moved into an apartment so I didn’t want to be an annoyance to my neighbors. We have very good soundproofing but still a loud thumping bass can be a problem. This completely upgrades the straight TV sound in quality and offers control of the woofer as needed. The fullness of the sound bar mounted to the TV and woofer placed a little behind the two viewing chairs is just great for us. We are loving our new system. Thanks Samsung.

The added bass, volume, and overall sound profile that it provides is just absolutely incredible. Especially in contrast to the TV speakers alone. I can't believe that I've watched TV without this for so long. And then there's the gaming. WOW!!!!!!!!! What a massive difference this set up has made in my Xbox X. I can hear everything so much more clearly its crazy. Full and complete immersion. And this isn't even the top of the line unit.

It was easy to set up and I added Rear speakers They connected to the soundbar immediately. The sound is clear, the base is great . I did some tests of the system using U-Tube sites to test its ability. It filled the room with sound and watching programs immerses you in the action. Also I like the Q-Symphony feature that allows my Samsung TV speakers to enhance the system even more. Highly recommend this product.

I got it on a whim it was on sale I wanted something that I could use my optical cable with and it has delivered every time i've used it. It was very easy to set up and adapted to Samsung. Once I turned it on the subwoofer will not work. I followed the instructions and chatted with the website and could not get it going. It was such a big disappointment to me. I was looking forward to getting better clarity, deeper sound on my Samsung TV. Instead I had to return it for a refund.

Here is the step-by-step guide for your reference: 1) With the Soundbar and TV turned on, connect the HDMI cable (not supplied). 2) “TV ARC” appears in the display window of the Soundbar main unit and the Soundbar plays TV Sound. a. If TV sound is inaudible, press the (Source) button on the remote control or on the right side of the Soundbar to switch to “D.IN” mode. The screen displays “D.IN” and “TV ARC” in sequence, and the TV sound is played. b. If “TV ARC” does not appear in the display window of the Soundbar main unit, confirm that the cable is connected to the correct port. c. Use the volume buttons on the TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar. If the TV provides an ARC port, connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN (ARC) port. We recommend you use a coreless HDMI cable if possible. If you use a cored HDMI cable, use one whose diameter is less than 0.55 inches (14 mm). I installed the sound bar under a 50 inch Samsung TV in a 15 x 20 room and it certainly fills the room with beautiful sound with gorgeous low tones. This product was replacing an older unit that has begun to have connection issues between the bar and subwoofer. The older unit was more than 10 years old, also a Samsung. This unit fell into a lower price point than my previous bar, but I have been very pleased. The sound quality is excellent. I use the digital optical connecting for TV and BluRay and i use the BT for streaming music from my phone. My room is 20x20, with vaulted ceilings and openings into the kitchen and autumnal rooms. My typical viewing/listening distance is around 17 feet. I usually have the volume set 20-30 depending on the feed, so there is plenty of room to go. I have maxed the volume when viewing a source with very low audio and nothing was distorted. For movies and live streaming church service I will sometimes get the volume into the 50-60 range, enough to rattle things in other rooms but still sounds great in here. Dialogue is usually very good, but depends on the movie or show, I just don't think the audio recordings are mixed well anymore.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the sound occasionally dropping from your soundbar. You may first want to check the cable connection of the soundbar to the TV or external device to ensure it is secure, and properly connected to the correct port. In addition to checking the connections of the soundbar, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware by using a USB device. You may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the top of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again. Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. Pressing it a second time will unmute.
