I bought this same exact 2 years back and it didn't last well. Always had some issues with it. Also being SAMSUNG MADE this did not even last 2 years. The glass top broke suddenly and reason was over heating which makes no sense as what's the purpose of cooking range??

We just purchased this stove January 4th 2024 after our 18 year old Hot Point blew the bottom oven element for the second time in less then a year. The Samsung 6.3 is a beautiful stove, but hard to figure out when there is no book that comes with it except for a book about warranty and what dangers to watch out for. I found my old stove, when in working condition, baked my recipes in less time. It is time consuming to try and figure out the electronics. I wish I had a book...in my hands. Finding one on line has been a pain in the keester because the printing on the phone or pad is to small. It would be nice to have a book to refer back to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning is why it received a 4 star. Once something gets on the burn unit area it's very hard to get it clean. The heat cooks it onto the burner area. Cleaning items designed for this glass top does nothing for it. It's forever stained. Still works just looks dirty all the time. Preheat seams to function well. The design and ergonomics of the stove is basic and functional as well. I couldn't get my phone to interface the Smart Things app with the stove because there's no upcoming scan item but I manually looked it up and included it on the app. Overall it's consistent in performing it's functions and therefore I recommend it to others!

DO NOT BUY - I purchased a NE59J7630 from Rona less than 2 years ago and the radiant heat surface stopped working - terrible timing as it was on Christmas Day. I reached out to Samsung customer support and they told me I had no choice but to reach out to an authorized service centre and pay to have someone come in and check the issue. Terrible product and service experience, felt like the brand is not taking ownership of its unreliable defective product. Would never buy Samsung appliances again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven does a great job getting to temperature quickly. Usually around 10 minutes. The stove also is much quicker than our last stove. We've over-boiled our water a couple times, because we weren't expecting it to boil that fast. The oven gets very hot outside right where that metal strip is. My 2 year old accidentally touched it while I was using the oven, and he started crying because it burned him. I also don't love that you can see through the stove top to the "foil" below. The oven does a good job doing what it's supposed to, but it's clear that they cut back the price by cutting back on other quality parts.

This smoothtop has a very poor quality, it scratched easy and fast, the Knobs are cracked and desintegrating, it does not cook evenly, There are no replacement Knobs that fit, the Knobs recall is for the one that brings the knobs in the front. I had registered the appliances when I bought the home brand new 3 years ago, but their website does not show it. I have had different brands of smoothtop stoves for over 38 years, in my experience Samsung is the worse one! within the first year I had made a call to Samsung and they told me if it was related to ware and tear they would charge me $200 USD for coming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this electric within a month ago and I am a daily user of the oven and stovetop features from baking lasagna, roasted potatoes or boiling some quick pasta. One appreciation I have is how fast the stovetop boils and I notice the heat is even with whichever pot you use. It's awesome, I give this stove high marks for quality, sleek design, the the automated and Bluetooth capabilities are neat. The only advisement is watching out for hot boiling oil jumping out and hitting part of the stainless steel handle, it stained mine and would require immediate cleaning products to avoid the permanent stain.

I love this electric glass range. I'm not sure why anyone has a problem cleaning the top. If you read the instructions, it's very clear what to do. I am someone who uses my range everyday. I bought this over a month ago and couldn't be happier. It's glass, keep it clean, don't let food spill on the elements while you are cooking, and never put a wet or dirty pot on the glass top. The oven size is amazing. Also, I really enjoy having the burners with the rapid boil, as well as the extra warming burner. Totally recommend if you follow the cleaning instructions, no problems at all. Read the instructions.

I would’ve given this five stars, but the oven has one dangerous design flaw. When using the oven you need to be very careful when reaching for the handle because you risk burning your hand. For some reason the metal strip that’s behind the oven handle gets extremely hot, and can burn you when opening the oven. If you have large hands you’ll definitely burn yourself when opening the oven. The only solution would be to recall the oven and provide a larger handle that’s spaced further from the oven.

We bought this product back in November and it's been stinky since we got it. LITERALLY! Used it the fist time (less then12 hours after it arrived) and a foul smell came from the vent. Here we are months later, many calls to the BRICK & SAMSUNG, one visit from a technician that could smell something but couldn't find the cause, awaiting another visit from a technician for a second opinion and we still have a stinky oven. We had company a few weekends ago and it was embarrassing!! We ordered out. We are in the middle of kitchen renovation and needing more appliances. SAMSUNG? I DON'T THINK SO!!! The runaround that we have received from Samsung and the Brick has literally stunk ...Poor service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the stovetop's burners have two "settings" as to where you turn the knob one way, and the burner has one line of a heating element, or you turn the knob the other way and there are two lines of a heating element. As for the steam cleaning of the oven, I feel that this feature could have a little more heat to it being that I need to do it a few times to get stuck on food to loosen better nor am I crazy about having to pour 10 oz of water on the bottom of the oven for the steam feature to work. Also, the storage drawer is a joke. It's very small and meant only for cookie sheets.

Burners heat fast and so efficiently that I can cook at a lower temperature level for less time to get same results as what my old range did on high heat. Oven is huge, and has more rack positions so can easily put in a large turkey as well as several other items to bake together. And with the steam clean function it is a "snap" to always have a clean oven. Only minor negative complaint I have is that with the electronic timer it is a little difficult to find the exact place to press to turn on and off. Sure glad I bought this wonderful range!

The oven takes a little longer getting to the set temperature, usually around 10 minutes, but it cooks the food a lot quicker than my last oven. The stove also is much quicker than our last stove. We've over-boiled our water a couple times, because we weren't expecting it to boil that fast. The oven gets very hot outside right where that metal strip is. I also don't love that you can see through the stove top to the "foil" below. The oven does a good job doing what it's supposed to, but it's clear that they cut back the price by cutting back on other quality parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my favorite thing about my new samsung oven is that it connects to wi-fi through the smart things app so i can preheat it on the way home! the design is modern and sleek. the cooktops work great and i like the dual rings to better control heat, which can be difficult with electric when using different types/sizes of pans. the glass cooktop is easy to clean. the inside of the oven is large to hold multiple dishes - i haven’t gotten it dirty yet, but i’m excited to try the steam clean! my only complaint is that the top of the unit where the buttons are mounted moves backwards if you press the buttons too hard, which makes it feel flimsier than it is. i received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

We purchased this recently after our nearly 15 year Samsung “expired”. It looks very nice, however the quality is not as great as our former stove. Little things like the settings are not as fluid, like it takes longer to increase the temp when preheating. Not a deal breaker, just noting it. The biggest issue we have is that the front metal pane behind the handle gets very hot when cooking is happening. This is an issue with small children. The old one did not do this. Otherwise works well and as expected for an opening price point product.

I did a lot of research before buying this stove, I really like it and had a hard time adjusting to a stove that actually worked. My issue is it’s impossible to keep the black top looking clean. I do use a cleaner just for these types of stove tops, but ours looks constantly dirty, smudged, etc… it’s really annoying as it also takes a real scrubbing just to get boiled water off of it. I’d love some help in whatever anyone else is using besides, Weiman stove top spray and fell.

I am rating this range at a 3 star item just because it claims to have extra storage pace for your appliances in the drawer in the bottom of the Range. What a crock. We can barely get one pan in the bottom drawer and on top of that, it is so tinny that it sounds like the entire stove is going to fall apart. Besides that, we cannot get the drawer to sit even on bot sides of the drawer. We get one side to look even and the other side falls down. Yes, maybe the extra oven space is nice for some folks with larger families, but, with only 3 of us, we dont need the extra cooking space, we need the space in the drawer as we had in our old cook range by Frigidaire. Sorry Samsung, you got beat out here. You really need to redo the bottom drawer as it impacts everything in the kitchen because we need to find other storage space in some of our other cabinets.

Anyway it connects to my phone so I can see when it is on and check it's status. As long as you wipe it down at the end of the day it is easy to clean. If you don't wipe it down be prepared to use glasstop stove cleaner and a razor on it. One of the knots is really weird and can be turned either way for some reason the left side and the right side of that know have identical heating settings so it doesn't make any sense. The self clean is terrible but practically all self cleans are, if you lung issues such as asthma or just sensitive smell do not use the self clean, my daughter had to have breathing treatments after using the self clean because of her asthma. The rapid boil is great since we make tea almost daily. Overall I love this stove so far.

I renovated my kitchen and this is the first new stove I have had since 1976 and that stove lasted until 2009! My next stove was 5 years old when I got it and it is still going strong at my daughters’! I hope this stove lasts as long! I like the simplicity, the look and the variety of elements! I like the WIFI and the sounds! I would prefer a digital display for the temperature as the up and down arrows require a lot of touches!

Bought 2 years ago convection fan motor stopped working. Just missed warranty waited 4 months for replacement part. Just a door stop in the kitchen. For 1500.00 you’d think it would last longer than 2 years and if it did break down replacement parts shouldn’t take 4 months. Stand by your product. Butter yet put out a product that last longer than 2 years. What a wasteful comany. Will never buy another Samsung product

I like all the features, larger baking area, the remote access etc. My only dislikes are, the touch buttons and the sound feature. Regarding the buttons, sometimes I have to press more than once. The sound feature, when I turned off all the little sounds it also turns off the end of the timer sound notification. But I can live with that.

I really dislike this stove. I am not interested in trying to control it with my phone. It is very difficult to turn on, set temperature and timer manually. Apparently it is easier with a phone but 5 people live in my house and not everyone has a phone. I was excited for the rapid boil, but it doesn't actually boil water fast either. I am considering returning it for something with more user friendly controls.

At first I thought this was going to be the best customer service with how fast I got a tech out. Tech had to call to order a new cooktop (cracked into pieces when cooking) and he is told to tell me that the warranty is nullified because physical cosmetic damage is not covered. This is my second samsung appliance and I hate the noises it makes and the incredibly long music it makes when it's finished preheating. Also, the Wi-Fi connectivity stops working when you open the oven. Meaning if you want to start it remotely, you have to make sure you press "smart control" and not open the oven EVERY TIME. It gets very frustrating. LG is a better option honestly.

Lots and lots of great features with this range, so here are my favorite ones that I use the most. The single and dual burners, the warming burner, the convection baking, convection roasting, setting the auto bake and auto cook time, and also the proofing feature for homemade pizza dough. There is still lots more features that I haven't tried yet, but hope to explore soon.

I might have a lemon but this stove doesn’t hold the temperature in the oven. I have to cancel the temperature setting and reset several times when I bake anything. Yesterday I was baking something at 350, hit cancel to see how low the temperature had dropped and reentered 350, it was only at 313…extremely frustrating. The cooktop works great though.

Also setting the time on the stove directly is annoying and long process.

I needed a new stove, my daughter had purchased the same model earlier and recommended it. Well designed. Does everything and more. Connects easily to WiFi, controls are simple, size and access to everything is great. Haven't run out of space for cooking. Bottom draw could have more capacity. Not a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Steam Clean in Stainless Steel directly through Samsung. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and the design. The oven works great, and it looks modern and high-quality in my kitchen. However, there are two small things that I am not completely happy with: On my previous Samsung range, the oven door glass was slightly tinted, so even if I stored cookware inside the oven, it didn’t look messy from the outside. On this model, the glass is very clear, which makes the inside of the oven look cluttered if anything is stored there. I personally preferred the slightly frosted look of the older models. The bottom support/base is visible from the outside. It doesn’t look as clean or seamless as I expected, and I wish there were some kind of cover to hide it for a more polished appearance. Aside from these two points, everything else meets or exceeds my expectations. Overall, it’s a great product, and I’m happy with the purchase.

Purchased March 2024, problems started May 2025. Oven does not maintain temperature. The oven heats to temp, but drops dramatically part way through cooking. Samsung customer service was no help, just said it's past warranty and offered to find a service centre in my area.

I was very disappointed with this stove top. Within the first month of use, the glass was stained from boiling water spilling over when making pasta. I have never encountered this with other stove tops. It is such a bummer to have a new appliance and have this happen.

I'll be honest, I haven't tried the oven part out besides the initial running it for an hour yet but I find the burners heat up fast and have a lot better heat than the stove it replaced. Love the style. Looks better than my old unit. Very happy with this range so far.

This oven came new with my condo and it took me a little bit to catch onto it but now that I am becoming familiar with it, I do love it. The oven cooks very evenly. I have not tried to connect it as I work from home and don't really need that feature.

Had a major repair on the range after the wty. Luckily I found a YouTube review that guided me on how to repair it. It would have cost be easily a $1000 to have a professional come and do it. I would not buy this again.

I didn't know it had WIFI which is ok because it's useless except to sync phone time. Alexa always says commands listed in the manual are unsupported. The hot surface indicator needs to be more prominent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range is great, really like the glass top and it's ability to work with the smart things app. I can preheat the oven with my phone and a notification will pop up on my TV letting me know that it's ready.

I refuse to buy another product by Samsung. It has been nothing but problems. I’ve needed to replace several of my Samsung appliances within three years. Many settings on the stove do not even work anymore.

I bought my oven 3 months ago and im so happy with it even. It as all the features I wanted and it works like magic. It heats super fast, bakes and broils evenly, it clean itself and it has so much space.
