[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got back into gaming after some time and found my old system to be marginal for modern graphic intensive games, so I built a new system around the Samsung 32" Odessey G65B. The 240hz refresh rate coupled with a 1ms latency and wide curved screen is the centerpiece of my newly built gaming system. The current games I have show no lag in game play at between 117 and 147 fps depending on the games graphic settings while having beautiful, vibrant colors and environmental movements. For several years I have been using multiple Samsung products and have found them to be durable and reliable. I expect the Odessey G65B to be the same.

I bought this monitor in September 2022 and it already failed and went black after 18 months, conveniently just outside of warranty, this is my second Samsung monitor that didn't even last two years. RUN, RUN as fast as you can elsewhere with your money, these are super overpriced and they don't last. I will never purchase another SAMSUNG GAMING monitor ever again, I should have learned the first time. I hope you see this and use your money elsewhere. ALSO, the Samsung support is a nightmare to deal with, the service is super slow and the website is super slow because all the people using it at the same time, because of trash products.

This is a top contender for one of best monitors i jave ever owned. At first I was skeptical when I got it and I fell in love instantly. This Thing is an absolute beast especially when you play FPS games. You just can beat 240Hz of pure perfection with a 1ms response time. Chef's kiss! Also every RPG or Action RPG I play on it is visually sexy because of the UHD. 10 out of 10 would recommend. When Black friday comes around this year please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this beast of a monitor. You will not be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use with my ps5 thinking it would help me playing shower games. Boy was I wrong! It just so happens, I've been in denial, and I have actually gotten older! My reflexes just aren't what they used to be! I do love this monitor though! The only downside is that when it arrived, the bevel around the top of the screen was popped up. I was able to snap one side of the bevel into place, but there is still a sizeable gap where it bows up. It's also very bright, almost white if you use the preset picture settings for sports or fps games. I had to set the picture settings myself using the expert picture settings and I am no expert! Remember, I'm old!

Primarily I use it for looking up game information, watching videos while playing games, etc. Really more the work horse and this monitor far exceeds my expectations . With the super high refresh rate it would also make an excellent primary screen. One additional point, the versatility of this model makes it perfect for entertainment as well. Being able to access multiple formats for viewing is very useful. If i want a tv show or news channel active it's a button away. Youtube, prime video, etc, all with easy acess. All in all, this monitor is well worth buying.

i am so so happy with my new monitor! i did have to ask my mom for a loan as my christmas gift in order to buy ദ്ദി(－ᴗ－ᵕ) i’m very grateful to both samsung and my mom, and i will be paying her back every week. i’m able to access youtube and netflix as well without my PC which i did not expect but i’m very thankful for, especially since i currently have not completed building my PC. i appreciate the remote as well and the bixby feature. the installation for the monitor was easy and simple. i would definitely recommend this monitor and thank u once again! merry christmas to anyone reading this :D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for school, work, streaming, and gaming. I started off using it with only 1 PC. Then I added in my laptop, and then another PC. One of the known issues, (known to me only after discovering for myself) is the inability of this monitor to auto-detect new input sources. When I turn on a different computer from the last one that used this monitor, it does not auto-switch to the new input. I have to manually change the input. Navigating the settings and OSD is ok, but it takes some time. And I'm not sure I'm happy with my settings, but I'm not a pro. The ambient lighting is a nice touch. It gives a warm glow to my workspace at night. The border pairs well with my flatscreen 4k Gigabyte monitor.

I was torn between g6 or g7 and which size and I think I made the right call. Picture is great, the smart features are so much better than my previous Asus Tuf 24.5in and do not underestimate how useful having the remote is. The lights add that fun factor and go great with my other rgb accessories and again the picture looks GREAT! Everything I wanted in a monitor and I am so happy I decided to go for it. Now I need to find a good mount for my desk as the feet are long and stick out on the front and back of the top shelf of my two tier desk. That's the only very small detail that could be better and it's by no means a huge issue.

When I first opened up the package to the monitor I was so happy to find I have a remote and 2 HDMI slots. I have a PS5 and XBOX Series X so 2.1 HDMI looks so good. Colors are so beautiful and looks smooth! The remote comes in clutch if I just feel like watching YouTube or Netflix. I never had speakers on my monitor so I don’t need to wear a headset all day and speakers actually sounds really good. The speakers are pretty loud and have a little bass to them. I had to play some Kendrick Lamar and 21 Savage on them to really hear the bass. Absolutely amazing and I’m motivated to use my monitor for everything. I already recommend this monitor to plenty of my friends and family that play games or stream.

Now it looks even better. Although on some things it could look better. Example: deeper blacks, the ips panel looks good in certain things but once it gets dark it doesn't get dark enough to really set the tone sometimes. Especially when I try and play games in hdr, hdr looks great in mid to bright scenes but kinda lacks in the more darker scenes. It looks great when the balance is there. Build quality: The stand and the connector are good, the rgb circle in the back is so cool, but the back of the TV screen feels like it could pop off, It bent easily when I tried setting it up. Which was scary. Happened on the two units I bought

I have had no issues sitting up the device specs come clear and described so you know what you are getting. I use a PC for my gaming and it connects smoother then any other device I have used no lag I've noticed when I used some others devices that there will be a few seconds on lag with this one you do not get that! I personally, don't stream, don't know alot about streaming aspects. I've streamed on it before & it was fine, but as a standard PS4 stream, nothing like a PC twitch stream or any of that. So, I imagine, for ppl who do that, it'd be very good w/ various menus & All at the same time. I personally used it to play my PS4 for like 3.5 years, it's been good. I got it because it's 240 hertz refresh rate is what I was looking for...so that online gaming would be as frame-perfect as possible & to not have lag. It certainly did accomplish that. I'm not the best person to ask, as I used it for gaming, but its a good product, definitely need enough space to put it onto as Well.

It would be a perfect VA curved monitor except for one thing. When you activate game mode to achieve the 240Hz that is advertised, you get these horrible scanlines on the monitor. In-game, it isn't too noticeable until you either get a little close or a solid-colored object is shown, which happens quite a lot. Completely kills the gaming experience when you're reminded it's there.

When first plugged in the colors were really off and looked awful. I had to spend about a hour and half messing the the color settings on hdr. When I hooked up the monitor to my playstation 5 the screen was extremely dark, tuning the setting made a little difference but is mainly unusable in my preference.

Screen adhesive failed causing the screen to separate from the rest of the monitor. Was told that Samsung does not cover panel separation on monitors, only on televisions. Terrible quality, and even worse customer care. Every electronic in my house was purchased new, and within 3 years every single thing I bought has went out without any indication as to why. Officially done doing business with this company, I’d rather spend my money with LG.

Watching movies is crystal clear and playing my fast pased FPS I don't miss any of the little stuff either. Playing the new Warhammer and comparing the image quality to that of my old MSI are huge differences. Colors are VIBRANT and the curve really compliments my peripherals. I highly recommend this monitor!

Best monitor I have personally used, 1440p 240hz is great for gaming, The size of the display is nice. Panel performs great in hdr and has decent speakers, which makes it a good display in my mind for content consumption. Also has a built in GUI, basically a monitor with smart TV features. Great all around product

I really like the screen and the lights in the back and in the front. I love the 180 degree rotation too. However it's really a bummer that doesn't have a C-type port for connecting to my laptop. My laptop doesn't have an HDMI port and also HDMI cannot charge the laptop while connected, so I find it really frustrating that a new monitor that is so expensive would not have a C-type connection!

I have had this monitor for about 3 months. The Samsung G65B is a great monitor. All specs say it peaks at 2560x1440, but I have it in 5120x2160 still operating at 240 Hz (over HDMI). I do not see "Scan Lines" which some have claimed to see. HDR is finicky, I recommend using HDR option on your PC instead. I love how I can raise, lower, tilt, and rotate without hassle. The Workspace and Game feature are nice too in certain circumstances and situations. USB Passthrough is fantastic, it adds 2 more USB inputs to the PC to help with A.) Cable Management, and B.) More Inputs whether it is Steering Wheel and Pedals, Mouse and Keyboard, or External Drives. This feature is one of my favorites, and one I did not know right away. I wish we could have curved Glass, and I would pay the premium, but even the use of this transparent polycarbon provides a very crisp and clear picture. I couldn't be happier.

Everything from the colors, refresh rate, response time and speed on how to software operates. This is simply at the top of all tiers! In both PC and Console gaming the display has been phenomenal and the refresh rate is perfect. For Console I have used the PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch and Switch 2. The Apps available to use are easy to open and I had no issues pairing a controller to the Monitor when I wanted to stream play games.

I was hesitant because I had only done console gaming on a TV and my Samsung oled TV checked all of my boxes already. But getting into PC gaming this monitor works great with it and the xbox. I have 2 of the 244hz g7s and ive been through 3 in less than a year. First time it had tons of vehicle lines right out of the box. Now this newest issue is that it simple wont even power on....again.... I regret ever buying these monitors, samsungs quality has dropped horribly across the board from monitors to headphones. Avoid samsung monitors for sure.

IN THIS PRICE RANGE!- Smart TV functions via Tizen OS (Web Video Caster ehem ehem)- Smart TV features like motion interpolation, which may trigger video puritans. Personally, I like it but YMMV- Vibrant colors. Like, really. Very impressive for a VA panel- The usual slurry of streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc. but idfc about those)CONS:- Needs a manual software update (via USB) to the actual latest version 1600+ to maximize features, and make VRR available. Software update via Wi-Fi only goes up to version 1444, so an update via Wi-Fi is pointless. - Needs a lot of tweaking to make HDR look right. By a lot, I mean A LOT- Very hard to find. It's like trying to find a unicorn. That's why I am very thankful to this shop. You can really go down the settings rabbit hole with this one, but it's definitely not for anyone whose smart appliances are smarter than them

I got this as a birthday gift and it's been a reliable monitor so far. My only problem is that I wish there was a G-sync version of this monitor. I saw there's one in the G7 series but the reviews on that one seem to suggest it's prone to having some issues, so I'm hesitant to pick up that one up as M second monitor.

Great monitor colors are awesome when looking at fonts seem sharper than most 2k monitors that I have had . only thing that is off a little is the viewing angles due to the curve of the monitor. but if you are sitting in front of it its perfect. I have seen some reviews on bad quality that was not my experience.

They are hands down amazing. One flaw is the weight, i transfer my setup from my place to my girlfriend's from time to time it is pretty heavy. Overall 9/10! Great work samsung!

Amazing colors, really good speakers, and has it's own tvbox-type software. Love it. Only issue is sometimes, lines will appear randomly but you simply switch it off and on again to get rid of them which takes a second

The curve makes games feel way more immersive it pulls you right into the action. The QHD resolution is sharp, and the 240Hz refresh rate + 1ms response time makes everything super smooth.

Beware: DO NOT LET THIS MONITOR REMAIN OFF FOR MORE THAN A FEW DAYS. Have read multiple reviews of the same thing happening to others. Being idle apparently kills these.

Its not too big for esports titles, and has a mice 240hz refresh rate, but once you want to play single player, it doesn't skimp on the resolution and has a nice curve for immersion. It also has great colors, but not as good as oled.

No issues in the 6 months I have used it. Unless you count having two samsung monitors side by side and the remote controller both.
