You can connect your monitor to Samsung app which you can control as well. The detachable web cam makes meetings easy to attend and remove it when it’s not in use. The built in speaker lets to enjoy movies and shows when you are not working. One of my favorite features is the rechargeable remote control. The remote has the solar panel on it so it keeps itself charged up all the time. I cannot be happier to have this monitor that not only boosts my productivity but also helps me wind down with entertainment after work. Highly recommend!

You don't see many monitors that come with dedicated remotes and full smart capabilities in such a slim package. I use monitors for gaming mainly so and also have a tv for watching my Netflix etc. With this I can easily switch between the two with the remote and not even leaving my bed. The picture quality is insane easily running 60fps with 4K and the HDR10 display its definitely set up for much more demanding tasks than an Xbox. Truly I no longer see a need for my Tv that I have had for years as this is the absolute best of both worlds in terms of size and functionality. Way to go Samsung!

Very nice monitor, I just go it a week ago so the review is more of a first impression but I love it i use it with my laptop and my switch both connected via the supplied cables and work amazingly. I did have an issue with the resolution being terrible when i first tested it but after looking online I found a solution which I will put here incase anyone else is having any issues, go on settings, all settings, device carr, start device care. After that an option should come up to fix blurry images click that and it should help. That is the only reason why it is a 4 and not a 5. Tldr: Recommend but screen may be fuzzy at first and needs sorting gave some advice above

One factor that swayed me was the camer however mine did not work right out of the box. When I contacted support they wanted me to ship the whole unit back and it is the only monitor I have for my Mac Mini so I Am just doing without that feature. Other than that I love the monitor. Its great to do my work on and to stream TV shows. I did not ding the monitor because support was just lacking in my opinion and not listening to me, I am disabled and it was hard enough just setting this monitor up I couldn't imagine boxing it back up. No offer to come here to fix it. Other than that this monitor is a rock star!

Set up was super easy, literally less than 5 minutes, and just needed to unscrew in one screw then screw it back in. I got this smart monitor and honestly, I love the features on it. I love the fact that I can go intertwine between PC mode and TV mode and not miss a beat. I think that this is an all in one and the camera makes it super convenient and not having to get extra pieces. Everything being so simple to connect is definitely a plus this monitor is so easy for even people who may not be tech savvy to do. I have used the features of the TV mode the PC mode and I think that it’s so awesome. I keep thinking of why I haven’t gotten a smart monitor sooner. The preciseness of everything on the screen is so awesome. There’s no lagging. I feel like this device is a great device for someone who has small space especially a college student who may need a screen and a TV they don’t need that this is what they need.

I like the 4K resolution and the screen is bright and absolutely beautiful. A couple of issues that I have. I just cannot understand why an expensive monitor would not have both an HDMI port and a Display Port. This monitor has no Display Port. In a multi-display environment on a desktop, it is important that displays have both HDMI and Display Port connections. In my environment, where I want to connect the monitor to both a desktop and another device that has only HDMI (e.g., a DVD player or a STB), it is necessary to have a second connection. An alternative would be to provide TWO HDMI ports. Another issue that I have is that the power cord pulls out way to easily. Finally, my biggest issue is that Smart TV Apps cannot be added. There is no App for Fandango Streaming service and that is a big issue for me. I cannot stream from my large movie library. If you don't need Display Port and don't care about Fandango, then I highly recommend this monitor.

Right off the bat, the design is super sleek and slim—looks great on my desk and doesn’t take up much space. What I love most is how this monitor does everything. It’s not just a computer screen- It’s a full-on smart TV. I can watch Netflix, YouTube, or even live channel through Samsung TV Plus without hooking up to any extra devices. It even connects with Apple AirPlay, so I can share stuff from my iPhone with no problem. The picture quality is excellent. It’s 4K, so everything looks sharp and colorful. There’s also a great picture optimizer feature that adjusts the screen based on what I’m watching or doing, and it really makes a difference. The screen always looks great. It also features the Samsung SmartThings, so I can control other smart devices in my home from the monitor itself, i.e. my Samsung All-in-One Washer/Dryer or my Samsung AI Robot Vacuum. My overall impression is excellent for this monitor. It has some excellent features for work, streaming, light gaming, and lastly smart home controls, that I know I will be using over the years. It also does not hurt the slim design makes it easy to transport, if the occasion every arise. It totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the right price (under 300), this monitor is great. I used it with my MacBook Neo in clamshell mode and now I use it with my Mac mini m6. I really don’t have any complaints visually with the display. Looks good to me. I’ve hooked up my old ps4 to play red dead redemption 2 and it’s been working really well too. The TV functions are nice and look good, but I don’t really use it as a TV. I took a star off because the lack of audio connections. The only way to hook up external speakers is to use Bluetooth. It can lag and and have static at times. I don’t understand why Samsung did not add e-arc hdmi, optical, 3.5 or even optical. You will want to use external speakers because the internal speakers are AWFUL. Work around: you can connect a usb-a or c audio adapter with 3.5 jack to connect external speakers. If you watch tv or game, external speakers is a must. I used a usb-a because I used usb-c to connect my Mac mini. If you want to use the web cam, connect your computer with usb-c. HDMI will not work. For me, if the speakers were better and if they actually had any outboard audio connections, this monitor would be 5 stars for me. Picture is nice and bright, aesthetically looks good, and the mount is cool because it is adjustable. For the right price, this thing is pretty awesome.

This monitor has unlocked a world that I never knew existed. The image quality is nothing short of amazing and this display surpasses a television that cost me 10 times its price. The onboard screen enhancement software does an amazing job enhancing lower quality video while not corrupting natively high resolution videos. Beyond that, the monitor is smart enabled to turn itself on when you enter the room, connect to other smart devices, function as a television via Samsung’s entertainment platform, and many other novel features. The only place that this monitor needed help was its audio output, which is fine for zoom calls, but a step backwards compared to the amazing video quality. Fortunately, this monitor acts as a hub and is very easily connected to multiple input and output options, so external speakers are plug and play with zero headaches. Last, the design is clean and modern and my room looks nicer because of this unit even when it is off - something I could never say about any other monitor I have ever owned. I am really pleased with this purchase and have already purchased a second for my son entering college this year. I could even see a third unit in my future - it’s that great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung M80F is a great large-sized 32” flat (not curved) monitor that performs very well across many domains. Transitioning from an iMac with an integrated Apple retina display (arguably one of the very best in the industry) to a Macintosh requiring an external display, I entered into my search with very high standards. I evaluated options at the $500 to $1000 price point and kept returning to the M80 series… All signs kept pointing to me that this monitor is simply the right choice. The M80 series boasts an excellent collection of features and importantly – it is backed by the Samsung reputation for quality. The aesthetic is excellent and complimentary to any modern workspace – the monitor simply looks great on the desk whether it’s off or on. The quality of its textured plastics is immediately noticed, assembly is accomplished in seconds, and the weighted stand and footprint establish a very premium look and feel. Included are high quality, thick cables but I do wish they were white to match the monitor and not their grey-beige color. The monitor may be tilted and height adjusted, but there is no swivel (this is my preference anyway). Most importantly, when the monitor is positioned, it does NOT travel or sink despite also not resisting during adjustment. This monitor is available in a few colors, which is a nice departure from the standard black, and I selected white. Regarding image quality, this is a high performing VA panel display (VA is typical for this price point) with HDR10 and a refresh rate up to 60 Hz, which may seem medium tier, but I notice absolutely zero ghosting or smearing even in high intensity scenes. Many resolutions are supported, and the native resolution is a software upscaled 3840 x 2160. I was a little concerned about the software involvement in the image rendering, but text does remains sharp and clear across all resolutions. There are optional features that add a layer of image processing such as AI image assist, Eye Care, and ambient light monitoring, but I disabled them for a pure image that I can control myself. The brightness is superb, but I do feel that the contrast is overshadowed by how dynamic the brightness can be. The image can seem washed out sometimes, especially since adjusting black levels is limited to HDMI input (but I rely on USB-C input). A webcam is included that has reasonable resolution and attaches magnetically, also with a magnetic lens cover for privacy. I did struggle to get the webcam seen for use by my computer and not just the monitor’s siloed software and found that connecting the monitor via the mentioned USB-C method and setting this path in the monitor’s external device manager setting is the only way for the camera to be useable by the computer (ZOOM, FaceTime, etc.). A straight-on viewing angle renders the richest colors and contrast, but view from the extreme sides will be a bit less clear, but still reasonable. The monitor includes Samsung’s smart functions and access to their entertainment network, so it can essentially act as a TV and do other things, but realistically I don’t anticipate using these functions. The presence of onboard speakers was part of my search criteria, but realistically they are not appropriate for music or movies – mostly just for human dialog on video calls and such. Overall, the monitor’s superb brightness but lack of complimentary contrast and the weak speakers are my main points of concern, but the image quality, performance, aesthetic, and overall premium feel very much outweigh these issues. The price is very fair for the premium product, and I would happily buy this monitor again. I hope this detailed experience helps you come to your own right monitor decision, but the M80F should rank high on your list of consideration because it is a very worthy option!
