Bluetooth


Bluetooth pairing is a one-time process that establishes trusted connections between your phone and other Bluetooth devices. Once paired, the devices will connect automatically without having to re-enter a passcode.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Connect to a Bluetooth device from Settings


1. From the Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.

2. Touch Settings.

3. Touch Connections.

4. Touch Bluetooth.

5. To turn on Bluetooth, touch the slider.

6. Select the device you want to connect to.

7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

Connect to a Bluetooth device from the notifications panel


1. To open the notifications panel, swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. To turn on Bluetooth, touch Bluetooth.

3. Select the device you want to connect to.

Disconnect from a Bluetooth device using Settings


1. From the Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.

2. Touch Settings.

3. Touch Connections.

4. Touch Bluetooth.

5. To turn off Bluetooth, touch the slider.

Unpair from a Bluetooth device using Settings


When you unpair from a Bluetooth device, the two devices no longer recognize each other.

1. From the Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.

2. Touch Settings.

3. Touch Connections.

4. Touch Bluetooth.

5. Touch Settings next to the paired device.
