Very poor quality product. 1st monitor had screen defect, 2nd monitor had physical damage and 3rd monitor started flickering like on the attached photo after 24 hour usage. It is shame really that Samsung has quality control problems because the monitor itself is gorgeous and it is excellent for both work and entertainment. Unfortunately, quality control is not there for such an expensive monitor.

I received this monitor on December 29th 2021 took it out of the box, set it up and tried all the features looking for defects/damage. All seemed well and I was happy until on about January 8th when I first powered it on for the day the right side of the screen had a ton of lines. Contacted Samsung and was told replacement units are only available within 48 hours of receiving and I was offered to ship it out for repairs. This is totally unacceptable, you spend over $2000 CAD on a monitor only to have issues in less than 2 weeks and instead of offering a replacement unit(Buyer's remorse is 15 days by the way) they offer to have it repaired. I definitely do not recommend this monitor, if you do not notice any issue within 48 hours you are out of luck.

Don’t make the same mistake I did but a Neo g8 thinking it would last. Didn’t think it would fail 18 months later after spending over 1600$. Trust me they will leverage their poor warranty of 12 months. I should definitely have gone with Alienware providing a 3 year warranty. The worst part is that they won’t even respect their commitment. They said they would support even if I was out of warranty, just to finally change their mind 2 weeks later and letting me down a second time. Avoid Samsung there’s better products on the market than them!

The monitor was great when it worked and exactly after 1yr of use and the warranty ran out, the monitor has black lines which indicated quality issues. Samsung refuses to cover it under warranty since I didn't purchase their extended warranty but this monitor should have come with 3yr warranty to begin with, very poor standards for a 2000$ monitor if you ask me. This will probably be my last samsung monitor.

I made the mistake to buy a Samsung monitor with 12 months warranty! It was the Neo g8 just to see it fail 18 months later. Samsung said they would support just to let me down 2 weeks later for no good reason. Go for an Alienware instead! They offer a 3 year warranty

So I’ve only had this monitor for like a couple weeks. But honestly, validated the purchase already. I got it on discount, but even at the 1600, I feel it would be worth it. Aesthetic lights on the back, can size down the monitor for gaming as you want, just super nice build. The stand is pretty weighty, but that’s good because I trust it to hold the monitor. Not one to review products, but I know I was on the fence about it even after my friend recommended it, but honestly just incredible picture, really nice features, and the speakers are insane. Hard to justify a price point like that, but honestly, just haven’t seen a monitor like it.

I program smart homes and the software always gets shrunk to fit the screen so some stuff gets cut off and you have to choose what you see but with this monitor its no longer a problem. playing games hasn't been this amazing for awhile, some of the game i play dont support super ultra wide but i have found some workarounds but the games that do look spectacular, battle filed looks super cinematic plus getting to use hdr that works is nice. all in all i love the monitor there are some others out there that can compare for less but i think samsung does it right and provides amazing support.

Only owned the monitor for about a month. Installation and set up was really easy, and everything worked seamlessly. The packaging was slightly damaged on arrival, and a small bit of paint was missing from a part of the monitor that I would never see once it was installed, and everything worked fine so I didn’t bother mentioning it - it was likely hit during shipping. The resolution is a little bit weird to get used to at first, and took a bit of tinkering to work on some of the older games that I play (likely didn’t even have flat screen when these came out) but the screen real estate made my coding work flow unbelievably better.
I recommended this product.

Tizen OS is EXTREMELY laggy- complete garbage. No thunderbolt connectivity which is a disaster when trying to connect this monitor to a Mac. Micro HDMI for WHAT??? Brightness and color settings are a joke. I have the S95B and it lags just as bad as that but at least the TV is somewhat bright and colors are great. No updates to help response times/lag/user experience for either products. The people at Samsung who approved and released this should be ashamed of themselves. It'd be nice if for once you could release a product that is functional and worth the premium the consumer pays. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for years but this was my last straw.

Blacks are inky, colors are vibrant and white are bright and crisp. 240hz is no joke in games, if you've got the hardware to get you there. The only downside is the software. The remote is extremely laggy at times for inexplicably no reason, the smart apps are incredibly slow to load, there is no way to quickly change inputs, and Samsung has removed PiP mode from the old oddesey g9 leaving only side by side mode. Overall, it's definitely a mixed bag. If you only plan on using a single input and ignoring the smart features, it would probably be perfect, if you want anything else, keep looking.

He called me in the room and well, it started doing colors and stripes moving up and down and come to find out they just go out and I have no cracks no nothing in it. I feel like I got screwed out a monitor now. Felt like it's a factory problem it went out right after my warranty went out figures right and Now it's going to cost me 700 plus to fix it. Wish samsung would see that this is happening to alot of people and I wish they would make it right to us customers who lobe your products but get let down by problems they dont want to fix.

I use it for gaming photo and video editing, music production and it helps have to have all that extra screen space. The screen is like a mirror so it's best to keep in a room with low lights going on. Also something I haven't seen mentioned is it puts out some heat while not a whole lot when added to other things going on it makes my room a little toasty. Some people mention having screen flicker I thought I did too but some changes to my graphics card appears to have fixed the issue. Overall it's been fantastic

Overall a miserable experience. Operates in conjunction with a 3090 and 5080. In both instances, regardless of hardware, firmware, drivers, cables, etc., this monitor has found every moment of inconvenience to cause GPU crashes. This issue does not exist with any of my other monitors and has been consistent with the G95SC. The type of failure, for those experiencing similar issues, is a complete GPU crash with screens black, audio semi-present, and fans maxed. I could be on my PC for 2 mins, 2 hours, 20 hours, it doesn't matter. It will crash regardless of use time. This monitor is overall miserable to operate with.

The display and performance on this monitor are absolutely top-tier — the colors, refresh rate, and overall visual quality are outstanding. It’s great for both gaming and productivity. That said, I was disappointed to see Samsung removed the classic Picture-in-Picture mode and replaced it with Multiview. It forces a hard split down the middle of the screen, which isn’t ideal. The old PiP was much more flexible and better suited for dual-input setups. I believe this could be reinstated through a software update, and it would be great to see that happen in the future. Still, it’s an impressive monitor overall — just wish they hadn’t taken a step back with the input options.

This monitor is absolutely amazing for productivity with my MacBook M1 Pro and a Windows Gaming PC. I have been working on a dual setup to switch between HDMI and DP. It seems like the MacBook really only supports the DP connection. So I am attempting the HDMI connection for my Windows Gaming PC for just productivity. I have a separate gaming setup dedicated for gaming. I just wanted to use this OLED G9 monitor for productivity for the most part. 10/10 I highly recommend this monitor for the tech enthusiasts! Only thing I would recommend to Samsung to make this product better would be to offer two Display Ports so users can use this monitor switched between two different systems! :)

When I upgrade to the 49 monitor the view is seamless. Having this setup with one monitor crates less mess with one having t ise 1 hdmi and power adapter. The OLED screen on this monitor is beautiful. When using this monitor, you can use without having to turn on your P. You can use different apps through this monitor, game and finally use this monitor for your PC use. My only gripe is when your PC goes to sleep, getting the monitor to recognize the PC has been a hassle, but overall great monitor.

You'd think the widescreen would be ideal for viewing documents side-by-side, but it takes too much panning and zooming to get viewable text. Not an issue in an FPS game, where the wider FOV is very beneficial. Wish it was OLED, but it isn't even though it's still pretty good. No remote is a huge problem and switching between inputs is a frustrating endeavor. Fun while it lasted. Switched to 42" OLED and . . . yes . . . great for work.

Purchased monitor because of advertised features, in particular the G-Sync functionality. Unfortunately, this feature does not work correctly. If playing games with G-Sync enabled when the monitor is connected via Display Port at 240 Hz, the display will go black at times either in the middle of a game or when exiting. Other than the monitor would be great.

I originally got an LG 45GR95 but ended up returning it due to qc and software issues. So I turned to what I know and went with this G9 and man is the quality between the LG and the Samsung night and day. I use it for gaming and general computing. Both 1440p monitors but the Samsung's picture looks way better, and it doesn't try to install software on your computer for no reason like the LG. This monitor blew me away. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their monitor. You will not be disappointed!

The display, speed, white/black depths, it's functions, and even the speakers are so far superior to any other form of a monitor I have ever owned or heard of. I gladly tossed two Lenovo T-34W-20 to the side once this beauty was delivered. The 240hz .03MS response is as smooth as reality. I have yet to notice lag in the interface when streaming or gaming. If I had any single thing to say negatively it would be that there is only 1 HDMI port which has caused me to change the cord two total times in the months since I purchased it. I chose not to purchase a splitter because it is so rare I'll have to switch the HDMI plug. Great job Samsung!

HDR gaming is amazing! I do wish it had the same radius as my Odyssey G9 240hz VA display. It is better for immersion into games. I wish there was a choice between having a regular OSD and the Tizen entertainment system. My monitor is always connected to my PC. After some initial setup “challenges”, the monitor remembers your last connection. All in all, this has been a great purchase! Waiting for Samsung to come out with a 49” ultrawide OLED 4K display.

Constant issues from black screens to disconnects. My monitor was missing the remote in the box. Firmware is supposed to be the fix but the pop-up that says install now or later only works with the remote. The one my monitor didn't come with.

I bought this monitor mainly for the oled black levels, and man they impress! Best monitor ive ever seen with vivid colors in games like cyberpunk and fortnite. Also with quick response time and 240hz its butter smooth. It has a bunch of features that would take me a while to list them all. Comes with pretty good speakers so i got rid of my desk speakers. Its also very lightweight so mounting on my monitor arm was a breeze. Its a luxury expensive item, but Im in love. Id buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought this about a week ago and am not happy with it. Everything about this monitor is awesome except one thing and that is curvature. Not sure why they got away from the 1000r but for a monitor of this size, it needs to be that and maybe a bit more like 900 or 800r. If Lg can make a 45" oled monitor with an 800r even though the aspect ratios are 21:9 vs 32:9, then I am sure a 32:9 aspect ration oled smart monitor with a curvature of 1000r can be made. The ends on the 1800r monitor are just too far away and it feels like you have to bend over to really see them clearly.

I replayed a few games again just to feel the difference and it was mind blowing. For work, it works like two 27" monitors side by side, except there's no bezel in between, and helps a lot when I need to work on multiple excel files at the same time. It has pixel shift feature to prevent burn-in, and it works very well so far. It's been almost a year, and it's working with zero issues. All in all, a great multi purpose monitor with no downsides.

I paired it with my older model Odyssey and even comparing it to that it’s worth the upgrade. The color is very good and the blacks are just that. It has a built in Alexa too which I use often to interact with my lights in my room and even use it to turn on or off my monitor while I’m lazy to reach for the remote. And for gaming… it’s amazing, most games that I play do support this aspect ratio and it’s gaming changing! No pun intended! You can see much much more and it helps you feel immersed into your game.

Wouldn't recommend. I was a early adopter. And just after a year of ownership, my monitor power cycles randomly every 15 minutes or so. I've tried Factory resets, firmware updates, even hooking the monitor's power supply to a dedicated power conditioner to make sure it wasn't anything on my house's power delivery that could possibly be causing the issue. While QD-Oled panel tech is awesome; my model has a serious hardware issue that makes it impossible to use for competitive games, when the screen randomly goes black for 8-10 seconds at a time every 15 minutes.

Monitor has great picture quality. It is shame that monitor doesn’t have physical buttons to switch different ports. Software that controls monitor is crap. Switching ports is painful especially with Multi-View feature. Monitor can be lazy to scan connected ports sometimes you have plug/unplug cable for the monitor to detect port inputs. Please revamp the software for the monitor allow monitor to be used monitor instead of TV.

screen is gorgeous but wish it was higher resolution than 1440p. The UI of Samsung is horrible though and the autodetect could use some work. I hate the smart features that you cannot turn off, there's a menu bar every time a computer is turned on and gets in the way of the Home Screen. the Smart TV function is pretty useless, I'd rather use my computer than to use its UI to watch anything. Overall, it's a beautiful monitor but Samsung please work on the software!!! Speakers are pretty poor, I'd rather it be a few bucks cheaper and have no speakers.

I upgraded from the Neo G9 to this OLED G9 two weeks ago. The monitor looks absolutely amazing but it has one tiny flaw that is a big concern, and can cost you your game. I keep getting intermitting black screens, that can last two to five seconds. If I'm doing typical desktop work, internet use mainly, there is no issues but as soon as a run a game it starts to happen. Doesn't matter if it's a game from my PC via DisplayPort or my Xbox Series X via HDMI, it'll do the intermitting black screens on both inputs. I'm hoping this can be fixed with an update, but from my research this has been a long time problem for most owners of this monitor. Being this a "gaming monitor", I would think this would be on top of Samsung's list to get fixed.

I purchased this in Q1 of 2024. It met and surpassed my expectations. I love the quality of the screen / picture. The monitor is very versatile for both work / and gaming workloads. Flaws: (software) The software is a bit buggy switching between Game Mode (239hz) and Regular Mode (120hz). (software) Occasionally, columns of the screen glitch, and you will see the screen tearing in an endless loop. Tip: Make sure that you match your Screen hz with the FPS of the games you are playing, otherwise you will sometimes get subtle screen flashes.

There have been great monitors that just didn't fulfill all of my use cases. I work, study, stream, relax, and game on my monitor. I've always needed color accurate, motion clear, and the space to multitask. Before this I used an 4k OLED screen. Since swapping to this in 2023 I've stopped looking for monitors or ever feeling like I need a different monitor. While this may be perfect for me I also always have the high end GPU of the time period. I have no noticeable performance issues but can't speak to the experience of lower end or older GPUs. This item literally makes my day better and more efficient. This is the only monitor I'd give a 10/10.

My experience with the G95SC has been mixed. The first unit I received had persistent grey streaks that I couldn't eliminate, and the second one inexplicably went black at times. Despite these issues, the hardware itself is impressive, boasting excellent specs and a solid build quality. However, the software leaves much to be desired. The blackouts were apparently linked to game mode settings, and the grey streaks might have been addressed with a simple pixel refresh feature, which unfortunately was not included in the software package.

I was hesitant to buy when I saw all the negative reviews about broken HDR. However, I paid close attention to the positive reviews that said you needed to play around in the GPU control panel. Once I did this, HDR worked beautifully. My only complaint is that the light core sync doesn't seem to funtion properly. Rather than sample the screen, it just goes different dim shades of white. Not a deal breaker but still slightly annoying. Overall, I am super satisfied with this monitor and will 100% be recommending to my friends and family!

Great monitor while it works. I had mine for a few months before the panel went all white and turned off. Now I am starting week 4 of chasing Samsung Care for a fix. After 3 service calls my care ticket with just closed.. no resolution, just closed. After spending hours on chat/voice support they refuse to replace the monitor and are sending out a tech for the 4th time. Ridiculous. The last tech didn't even bother to put the monitor back together again. Know I know what it's like to own an ultrawide paper weight. Thanks Samsung.

Its resolution is super sharp, the contrast is outstanding, and the colors are extremely vivid. The curvature of the monitor is spot on as it delivers a very realistic immersion to any game you might be playing and the large, expansive screen allows you to multitask with ease. During my gaming sessions this monitor has demonstrated an instantaneous response time thanks to its high refresh rate (240 Hz) and FreeSync Pro/G-Sync compatible feature. Thanks to them both, I have not experienced ripping or tearing during game play or while streaming movies. In short, this is hands down the best monitor I have ever used.

To say wow is an understatement, this thing is fantastic. The colors and blacks in the game are insane, the refresh is fast so no blur, and the curve really immersed you. This is like using vr without the stupid headset, you are so pulled into the game. As for day to day use, the only thing I need to do is try and find my mouse pointer from time to time due to the real estate, but that's not an issue. Things like movies, streaming and YouTube are like being in a theater. I went from a samsung 34" ultrawide to this thinking it might be too big, nope it's perfect. If you have the desk or wall room, get this, now!

size is great and it looks great.. when it works. within 3 months... horrible glitchy interference in the display. twitches like crazy... looks like an antenna trying to focus in better quality or something. this isnt not what I expected for a $2000CAD monitor not even 6 months in. after 5 months, now it randomly just goes black. just blacks right out. Power still on, PC thinks all is well but the monitor just black. Pulling power from the wall for 10 sec fixes it for 20 mins or so til it decides to just go black again. My G7 secondary has no issues. Samsung is terrible with the ultra wides. Stay clear. Tried to get a replacement under warranty... they want me to drive it or ship it 40 mins to my nearest "repair center". where it will stay for a couple months and maybe be fixed? In the meantime they said they dont care that I'm out a monitor and that I work 12 hours a day and require it. No loaners and no advanced replacments on BRAND NEW $2000 items. Add to that their support closed my ticket "by accident" 3 times. And the site is almost impossible to log in with due to all the errors on the page. (im a software engineer btw). NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN!!!

Monitor has a great form factor and the monitor itself is gorgeous front and back. However it does have a few drawbacks: sometimes the speakers cut out, the monitor may not turn on sometimes, and every now and again it glitches when switching between display port and hdmi. Overall a great monitor and does its job very well, it's just a shame it doesn't work that way 100% of the time.

I could use numerous programs at the same time. I like the intelligent features and software, the remote is useful too. I enjoyed the sound quality and general value. Basically everything was as expected - however you should definitely invest in the right cables as those can create issues if you don't have the right hookup. Also note, not all games are compatible with widescreen.

Received the monitor 2 days after ordering it on the Samsung website. Upon receiving it, I had trouble turning it on. After a while, I somehow got it to work and it worked great. It was everything I wanted and I loved it. After using it for about 24 hours, I had an issue where the monitor will turn itself off, turn itself back on after hours, and die again after a minute or so. I've tried every troubleshooting method out there and nothing helped. At first, I tried to lower the settings like disabling HDR, and setting the refresh rate to 120hz. It got so bad to the point I didn't have time to access the settings because once it came back on, it would die almost immediately. After a full day of troubleshooting, I gave up and contacted customer service for a refund.

The high refresh rate and wide aspect ratio combined with my Nvidia GPU push stellar frame rates and immersive gameplay! For work, I like to have either 2 1440p sized windows or applications side by side or alot of times I will have 1 "main" 1440p sized window or app, flanked by a smaller window or app on either side. All in all I'm ecstatic about the purchase and won't hesitate to purchase again when the time comes to upgrade!

I bought this this back in September for a birthday gift, shortly after I received it. A week later it started flickering the screen. I thought it was the cable so I replaced that, that didn't fix it. I thought It was my graphics card so I got a new one. From a 1060 to a 4060 and it worked for a day. I was so fed up that I decided to return it. Really dissapointed. When it was working. Resolution and video was amazing! Now I'm barely browsing and it just starts flickering like crazy! I'm done! Sending it back!!

I don't use the apps like Netflix as the widescreen is not great for watching movies and I wish i could disable these features as I occasionally will accidentally press the remote and the apps start and it takes a while to get back to the PC setting. The emanual is useless - i wish a printed manual would be available as there are many features I have no idea about!

So to start having a monitor this big has taken some getting used to for work and for playing games. The colors and refresh rate are awesome and really allow me to utilize the vast amount of desktop real estate for whatever I am doing; whether it's reading blueprints or playing games this monitor is awesome...except for the part that keeps me from giving it five stars which I'll write about next. I bought this monitor in 2020 and it was great but started having some issues with a white band vertically across the center to left hand side of the monitor. It was after the warranty expired and honestly isn't something that affects the usage but it is an annoying thing that makes me wonder why it happens on something this expensive. Sure do wish it wouldn't have happened to me.

I have been using the G95SC for about a month now and I have nothing but positive comments to say. The set up was a piece of cake, the picture is great (no issues to report based on other review I read)., and the Refresh Rate is absolutely awesome. I cannot wait to do more things with this monitor. The picture clarity and definition are excellent for my engineering and 3D design work. While absolutely not a negative, the screen's width should allow for a 3rd sync interface for one more input on the screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many impressive things about the Odyssey G9, but the biggest one is likely the fact that it can hit a 240hz refresh rate at the massive 5,120 x 1,440 resolution. That makes it a great monitor for playing games requiring high framerates, like competitive or action-packed games. Of course, you will need a powerful GPU to hit both max refresh and resolution, which might mean something like the RTX 4090 or the RX 7900 XTX, and even then, you might struggle slightly without frame generation technology.

Initial setup was on a standard Windows PC, everything worked great, couldn't as for more! When I changed out the Windows PC for MAC, the monitor would connect! I tried a connection with HDMI, nothing! I then tried the Display port connection, nothing! This shouldn't be this difficult. The monitor is not connecting with either the Display port cable or an HDMI cable. For the cost of this monitor, you shouldn't have headaches trying to connect a simple cable!!! Don't waste your money on this Monitor!!!!

I was thinking of getting myself an Ultra wide gaming monitor but always thought the 49" G9 was too big that's when Samsung released this with the same panel as in the Alienware OLED monitor that is getting rave reviews. The difference between this and the Alienware monitor is that this one comes with Samsung OS and is easy to connect to my other Samsung ecosystem products. This monitor is perfect to run Dex on or even can be used as a TV. The OLED panel is brilliant and the movies and games pop on it.

I love the display, and how clear and colorful it is. However, the software on it just way overcomplicates things. It's processing too much, or something and has compatibility issues with NVIDIA G-sync and displaying anything when trying to boot up my PC in Safe Mode to try and fix issues on it. The Smart TV functionality was just too much and fluff and filler that jacked up the price unnecessarily. If it simply was a monitor with the smart OLED care features, then it would've been perfect.

I use this monitor primarily for gaming and it took about a day to get used to how massive this monitor is. It's a real game changer for every game I've played on it. It's so incredibly immersive! Other multimedia looks great on it too. I love this monitor so much that I when I build my next computer, I intend on getting the 57" Odyssey G9 Neo. I highly recommend this monitor.

I do like the image quality and the amount of working area for tgis monitor. It easily replaces having two monitors. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to black out as if it is shutting off completely. To make matters worse, this is a common problem and has been left unaddressed by Samsung. I've found reviews and comments on this issue going back since the monitor was originally released. I've tried all of the commented fixes to no availe. I do not recommend this monitor at any price.

This is primarily a review on the main display and its an easy 10/10, only limited by the hardware powering it if you decide to use it for more than just a monitor. The pictures attached show a snipped of the hundred hours I've already put on the monitor but I still wouldn't hesitate to purchase the monitor if someone asked me to.

I overall love it and could never go back to my old monitors i just wish more things supported ultra wide. My only complaint would be how buggy it acts sometimes. Sometimes it says my said it cant support a resolution when i turn on my pc and i have to unplug the Display port and plug it back in. As well as changing the aspect ratio on the monitor its really just the os itself that is buggy.

The colors are so vibrant compared to my old 4k 28" TN panel. The only thing that needs improvement in my opinion is how slow tizen OS is. I don't know if it is just an issue with the processor being slow or if it is the OS being programmed inefficiently, but it is slow none the less. Overall I would still very much recommend this monitor.

When I received and setup my monitor, I found one gray vertical banding line down the screen, irrelevant of whether using a corded input or the monitor's OS itself. This is a common issue with OLEDs. I've been able to fix on other screens by doing a full pixel refresh, but this monitor DOES NOT HAVE THE OPTION to do a pixel refresh. So I'm going to have to return the monitor instead of doing a simple pixel refresh that would most likely fix this issue. Quite infuriating honestly.

Spit screen is nice. Response time and display is great for games. The monitor can be used like a TV and has its own remote control. It also has a built in speaker. It is not loud, but decent. Only thing I don't like that much is when streaming the full screen is not used. Only the center displays. This monitor is a nice upgrade.

The product itself is pretty incredible, the OLED and deep rich colors and perfect blacks is absolutely stunning. It left a big impression to everybody that saw it. However, it broke! The screen shut off mid-use and wouldn't turn back on. I could still hear the sounds and navigate the menu using the Smart Things app and could see the LED in the back change colors, but the screen wouldn't turn on at all. I had to return it and order another. Hopefully it works this time.

Stunning OLED. Wish it was 1000R. Coming from the odyssey-g95na, which is 1000R, I can say the OLED blacks are absolutely stunning. However, the gains in blacks are lost due to the less curved monitor, which surprised me with how less immersive it is. Your eyes need to travel a lot more to see the edges of the screen, which is also tiring. I have both screens in my office and I am torn as to which one I'll stick with long term. A 1000R OLED would be the absolute winner!

Save your money and do not buy this monitor. It is completely useless with its broken operating system trying to mimic a Smart TV. I am running a a RTX 4070S and was not able to game on it at all. Screen would go black and when I attempted to open a game, the monitor would go on a standby mode for no reason and would not go back to my computer when the computer was still running. The OS is the most broken part of this monitor. The colors are beautiful but the OS is junk.

Not only have the colors blown me away but the amount of screen space I have now is insane for working conditions. As a software engineer this allows me to open multiple repositories and consoles for them along my screen and actively follow where each piece relates side by side. Compared to switching tabs constantly and throwing windows all over to click in the little in between spacing this is a life changer.

Normally I don't leave reviews but this is a special case. Has issues running games on 240hz with display port. HDMI works fine but you're limited to 120hz. When gaming on the display port the screen will go black randomly and the only way to fix it is to unplug and replug in the display port cable. The interface is also slow/clunky. These are known issues and I wish did some more research before purchasing this monitor. Look elsewhere. I'm saving you a major headache.

Giving it 4 out of 5 because 5 stars should be the most exceptional item you've ever had. This is a great monitor not sure why people are dissing it. I have to agree the software is annoying, and difficult to understand...and I have a degree in Computer Science and have been in IT for 35 years. Other than that I think it's a good monitor games play smoothly on it and the graphics are great. Once I figured out I had to use the remote to connect it to my PC all was good.

Loved this monitor when I got it. Had to return it once is started having a tic. The picture would jump every 8-10 seconds like a glitch in the matrix. Swapped with old monitor and that one doesn't do it, so I know it's not a problem with the computer, interference from other electronics, inconsistent voltage, or something like that. Tried adjusting settings, refresh rate, exchanged cords and nothing helped. Couldn't stand the distraction so had to return it.

The thinner design also freed up a lot of space on my desk, which is a nice bonus. The curve on this monitor is less pronounced compared to my previous one, and I’m still adjusting to the "flatter" profile. While I do miss the deeper curve of the G9, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, the improved picture quality and sleek design make this a worthwhile upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paired this monitor with my "no-compromise" gaming pc and for me, this monitor is a perfect fit. It also works well in my house since I have exclusively samsung appliances. I love how it will notify you on the monitor if the dryer is done/refrigerator door left open,dishwasher is done etc. Which is very helpful to remind me to do chores whilst I'm in a intense gaming session. Two downsides however, the fact that the device uses display port 1.4 instead of display port 2.0, thereby relying on display stream compression. Not the biggest deal but a factor to consider nonetheless. Furthermore the poor implementation of amd drivers handicaps the top nit peak brightness by about 400, making this product a no go for amd graphics cards. However, if you have a nvidia card and don't mind the DP 1.4 then this monitor is a great buy.

I have only had the G95SC for a few days. Works in Windows and Linux. I can't get the highest resolution yet in Linux as I need the Nvidia drivers most likely. Windows was easy. All from a Dell Precision 3581. My laptop will only power it at 120hz but I'm happy. Linux is at 60hz and good enough for now. I will tweak the rest pretty easily. I don't game just want to be more productive as I am a technologist and the extra landscape is a game changer.

That's a great problem to have. I've had numerous monitor set ups, but this in a single, ultra wide set up is amazing. That being said, I also have 2x 27" monitors in my home office, but flip those off and just run this when I'm gaming or use it as a smart TV to stream in the background while I'm working on a project. They have it set that they are allowed to record your screen at anytime and send it to them, so I keep my monitor offline. Weird to think about having to do that but welcome to the future. Also I feel the remote it comes with is easy to misplace but that may just been a me thing. Besides that the monitor is great and well worth the upgrade for me. I love the colors and how nice everything looks and feels now on a high refresh rate monitor. Also I was surprised how light the monitor is and it was easy to setup myself. Overall it was worth the price and I am happy with it even if I massively disagree with the TOS that came with it and find all the loaded software and wifi in the monitor kind of a waste for a normal user.

My only complaint with the screen is Google Assistant is not available on the screen despite it advertising it some places as being included, and that was a selling feature I considered highly when purchasing only to find out it was silently removed from the software in an update.

Perfect size, good curve. The only issue I have is that when my PC wakes from sleep, they flash on and off for like 5 minutes, a couple dozen times. This behavior was happening with my last PC and my newest build. I wish they would just turn on like normal and not do whatever they are doing when they wake.

The biggest issue is the widely reported black screens that suddenly appear for unknown reasons. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all and others it appears repeatedly. It's not the PC as it's a widely reported issue without a clear correction. This can impact gameplay and lasts for 15 seconds or less but that can mean make or break depending on what you're doing.

I bought this crap back in December and it’s now April. The adhesive that holds the screen to the frame is no longer adhering well on the frame. It completely came off on the edge resulting in the shift of the display which cause a minor crack in the screen. I have warranty reached out and it was denied to the physical damage which was caused from internal damage. Please do not waste ur time and hefty amount of money on Samsung products

Amazing monitor when it works, but plagued with issues unfortunately. I use this monitor for work, gaming and as a smart TV. For work I am able to do so much more with the amount of real estate this monitor gives, and it makes games that support the resolution look great. Unfortunately the biggest issue is the screen will randomly black out, especially when closing out of a game or just pressing the windows key. It will not turn back on unless I wait about 20 minutes or I go to the menu and disable/enable game mode (the screen black out regardless what mode I'm in). This is by far the biggest issue and is what makes this monitor unstable and not recommended The other bugs related to smart TV like input lag, 90% of apps not supporting 32:9, and the obnoxious Samsung TV plus constantly popping up were not deal breakers for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a monitor for work but also for gaming, this is one is perfect, superb colors and response, I am also using Logitech MX mouse and keyboard to switch between my work laptop and my gaming PC, I had to buy a USB-C to displayport to get the monitor displaying the full resolution at 60hz, the PC is using 120hz with a HDMI 8K cable, it all seems to be working perfectly, wish it had google assistant since that's the one I use.

Gorgeous display, OLED still the best image quality, especially on HDR. Thanks for this QD-OLED Gen 2, the text fringing is minimum now. Awesome! This monitor is great but they are something I like to highlight. 1st, please don't over tune, default value of 30 in color is way too vibrancy, I reduce to 20. Some default value should change for better suite use as a monitor. For example, Contrast Enhancer and Peak Brightness should be off as this two enhancement never make image quality better. Logo semi-transparent default value should be on to better burn-in prevention. Games HDR should be set as Advanced or Basic, why default the value is off, this make the HDR gaming looks dark and dull like missing of suppose HDR. Beside above point I like to highlight, I am truly impressive with this newer OLED G9 Super Ultrawide. Totally no regret purchased. 😊

I also love all the different fonts and colors you can choose to use for whatever documents you would like to put them on. I love the fact it has a bigger screen that way I can see alot better without having a phone an inch from my eyes. I just all around love it and have suggested to many others.

The picture quality and depth is great... when the monitor decides it wants to work. Any, and I mean absolutely ANY application that isn't natively supported on the ultrawide resolution will result in flickering. The monitor loses connection to my PC via the DisplayPort cable on a practically hourly basis. And the "smart" features get in the way more often than not. Rather than a monitor that's built for your PC, this is a generic "smart screen" that tries its best to get in the way of your PC. Somehow, the TV I have set up as my secondary display is more stable than this monitor. Do not buy this product. It is not meant for games. It is not meant for your enjoyment of a computer. It's meant as a standalone product. If you buy this monitor, your PC experience will suffer as a result. Again, the picture is great when it works, but more often than not, it doesn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monitors used primarily for gaming and productivity. Basically you have two side-by-side 27-in monitors without the seam in the middle. When working properly, monitor is great. Have experienced a few issues such as screen flicker and different pattern showing up randomly across the screen. But those issues seem to be primarily when using the DisplayPort. I have not experienced these issues when switching to HDMI.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great gaming monitor as well as smart tv. I use it for my gaming and it works great. The response time is super fast. Hardly any lags. Aside for gaming I do split screen while I am working on one half of the screen and listening to Samsung tv news on the other half. Thw resolution is nice. Sound quality is ok. I use it with my Samsung sound bar for tv and headset while gaming. Overall, it’s worth the price.

From movies, gaming, & work, I cannot be more satisfied with my purchase. I don't even know how I manage working in the actual office with two regular screens.
