Notifications


You can adjust sound levels and configure sound options for applications and notifications.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Default notification sound


Choose a sound for notifications from your apps.

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Scroll to and touch Sounds and vibrations 1.

4. Touch Notification sound, on the right panel.

5. Touch Default notification sound.

6. Touch a sound to hear a preview. Scroll up and down to access all available sounds. Finally, touch OK to set the selected notification sound.

Set notifications sounds for Samsung applications


Choose notifications alerts for new messages and calendar events. For now, those are the only 2 apps for which you can set different sounds, differents from all the other apps.

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Scroll to and touch Sounds and vibrations 1.

4. Touch Notification sound, on the right panel.

Note: The procedure is the same for S Planner notifications.

6. Touch Notification sound.

7. Touch a sound to hear a preview. Scroll up and down to access all available sounds. Finally, touch OK to set the selected notification sound for new messages.

App notifications


You can control which applications push notifications to your device.

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Scroll to and touch Applications 1.

4. Touch Application manager 1.

5. Scroll to and touch the application you want to enable or disable the notifications.

7. The following options are available. Touch the slider to turn the corresponding feature ON Curseur On or OFF Curseur off.

Note : Depending on what is turned on or off, some features might appear or disappear.
