Galaxy Watch - Automatic Workout (SM-R800 & SM-R810)
Your Galaxy Watch isn't just used for telling time; it's also an exercise tracker. It can automatically detect and track common workouts, like walking as well as other workouts. It's like taking a personal trainer with you everywhere you go, except it's compact and convenient.
Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.
If you get random inspiration to go for a jog, you won't have to worry about starting a workout on your watch. Just start running and it will automatically detect it. Learn how to adjust which workouts it can detect.
From the watch's Home screen, navigate to Samsung Health. Swipe to and touch Settings, and then touch Workout detection. Touch Activities to detect, and then select the desired activities you want the watch to detect automatically. By default, all activities are set to automatically detect.
