Gear S: Using Airplane Mode on my Samsung Gear S

Airplane Mode


Regulations require you to turn off your device or set it to Airplane mode for the duration of your flight. The Airplane mode feature turns off your device's connection to your wireless service provider and to Wi-Fi.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Turn On Airplane Mode


1. From the Clock screen, swipe up to access the Apps menu.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Touch Connections.

4. Mark the Airplane mode checkbox.

5. Review the information about Airplane mode and touch OK to turn on the feature.
