Gear S2: How do I take screenshots on my Samsung Gear S2?

Screenshots taken on your Gear S2 are saved in the Gallery. You can transfer screenshots from your Gear S2 to your mobile device. Screenshots transferred to your mobile device will be saved to the Gear folder in the Gallery.

Note: The screens and steps shown below may vary by wireless service provider and your mobile device.

Capture a Screenshot


You can capture a screenshot by simultaneously pressing the Home key and swiping from the left of the screen to the right.

Note: It is not possible to capture screenshots with some applications and features.

View a Screenshot


1. From the Watch screen, press the Home key.

2. Touch Gallery 1.

3. Touch the desired screenshot.

Transfer Screenshots to a Mobile Device


1. From the Watch screen, press the Home key.

2. Touch Gallery1.

3. Touch the desired screenshot.

4. Touch and hold anywhere on the screen until 1 appears.

5. To include additional screenshots in the transfer, rotate the bezel and touch the screenshots you want to include.

Note: You may also select all screenshots by touching the number and Select all.

6. Touch More options 1.

7. Touch Send to phone 1.

8. The screenshot will be be transferred to your mobile device and saved to the Gear folder in the Gallery 1.

6. After touching More options 1, you can:

    • Send to phone 1: Send the screenshot to your mobile device.

    • Delete 1: Delete the screenshot.
