Issues with the projected image using The Freestyle by Samsung

The Freestyle by Samsung allows you to enjoy content from various angles and on different surfaces. If the picture appears distorted, unfocused, tilted, or shaky, you can try adjusting the options in Projector Settings and Picture Clarity Settings.

Note: Information provided applies to The Freestyle projectors sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for projectors sold in other countries. Image and viewing quality may vary depending on a variety of factors including projecting surface, distance, and environment.

1 Navigate to Focus settings

Turn on The Freestyle, press, and hold the Home button until the quick settings menu appears at the bottom of the screen. Select All Settings, and then select General & Privacy. Select Projector Settings, and then select Focus.

2 Select Auto Focus

Choose Auto. When this is enabled, the screen will automatically adjust and focus on its own when you move The Freestyle.

3 Navigate to Picture Clarity Settings

Next, navigate back to All Settings, and then select Picture. Select Expert Settings, and then select Picture Clarity Settings.

4 Select Custom

Choose Custom. Next, select Judder Reduction and adjust the slider. Select Back, select Noise Reduction, and then choose On.

5 Review the previous steps if needed

Now, you should be able to see the projected image clearly. If the issue persists, please review the steps above, or contact us for assistance.

1 Navigate to Keystone settings

Turn on The Freestyle, press, and hold the Home button until the quick settings menu appears at the bottom of the screen. Select All Settings, and then select General & Privacy. Select Projector Settings, and then select Keystone.

2 Move the screen

Use the directional buttons to move the screen in your desired direction.

3 Navigate to Scale and Move Screen settings

Next, select Back, and then select Scale and Move Screen.

4 Increase or decrease the screen size

Use the directional buttons to make the screen larger or smaller. Next, select Move Screen, and move the screen around as needed. Select Done.

5 Navigate to Projection Mode settings

Next, select Back, and then select Projection Mode.

6 Select your desired viewing mode

Choose either FrontFront CeilingRear, or Rear Ceiling.

7 Review the previous steps if needed
