Samsung TV - Power Cycle

If you’re running into glitches, you can power cycle your TV. Believe it or not, many minor issues with the TV can be fixed with a power cycle. Think of it like a little power nap that gets the TV going again in a snap. Go on, give it a try!

The provided information refers to TVs sold in Canada. The available settings and options may differ for devices sold in other countries.

Power Cycle the TV

Before you power cycle, disconnect any external devices connected to the TV.

1 Power off your TV using the remote or by pressing the power button on the TV, and then unplug your TV from the power source. If your TV is connected to a surge protector, power it off.
