Will Samsung Video Products Designed For Use In The U.S. Work Overseas?
With that said, there are some exceptions. These include Samsung's Worldwide VCR's, and some camcorders which are capable of converting their output to the PAL system. To use these products outside the United States, you need a voltage converter to run them off a wall socket. You can get voltage converters at Radio Shack and similar stores.
Note: Countries that use NTSC may have voltage standards that differ from the U.S. Before you use your Samsung device in a country outside the U.S., make sure that the voltage in that country is compatible with your device. If it is not, you will need to buy a voltage converter to run your Samsung device off a wall socket in that country.
