good little tv for the price. picture quality is good. i bought it to use in my office as a tv and second monitor for my imac. after a week or so of constantly having to reboot it (hold the power button down until it resets) to get it to reconnect to my wifi i finally ran an ethernet cable to the tv from my router and all is well now. it connects flawlessly via airplay now and does just what i needed. it's not as clear of a picture as the imac monitor but that's to be expected. i was surprised by the amount of free streaming channels included. i use those along with several of the apps since we have no over-the-air signal available where i live.

We bought this TV to put in our guest bedroom. I set up the TV, and turned it off. The next day, I went back and turned the TV back on. Wifi would not connect. Had to reset the settings. Next day, same thing. This is a common issue that many are reporting but hasnt been fixed. It is essential that there is a Wifi connection because we do not have cable or Ethernet in that room, so it exclusively uses smart TV. I had to direct connect a range extender to get the Wifi to stay connected. However, the TV itself works great and has great picture. With that being said, I cannot recommend this to anyone who uses the smart TV function, which many people do.

picture color is ok but having a problem with a "green tint" on white. tried all picture, expert settings, but cannot get rid of that green tint. the "white balance" & "color space settings" show "this function is not available" (why not?). had two previous samsungs & didn't have a green tint problem. on some shows the white is white but on other shows, white has that green tint. perhaps the 1080p would be better. also wish samsung would bring back the pedestal stands. with the current feet stands on the ends, it makes it awkward or impossible to place in an entertainment unit or other areas with limited space width.

I have purchased one of the 32” smart TV’s for our bedroom and after five days of minimal use the sound went really loud when turned on. Turned it off and waited a couple of hours and it went back to normal until the next day, I returned it to where I purchased it and got another one. Now after two weeks the new one did the same thing with no warning, when turned on the volume went fully loud with no control. The next day it is back to normal. It is not connected to a sound bar. Overall the picture is good, the menus are a little hard to navigate. It would be nice it it was easier to get to the sleep timer.

As another user complained, this TV has no bluetooth connection. Worse is that the audio output is at back of the TV. You cannot plug in a headphone if the TV is wall mounted. Really suck.

The sound quality surprised me- very poor when speakers are turned up- voices are very muffled. Bought a Samsung wireless soundboard only to learn after several failed attempts at pairing that the TV does not have built in Bluetooth compatibility. Nearly impossible to source that information online and the manual was not helpful in the least.

Just purchased this and was a nightmare out of the box! 1) It's impossible to install the legs as the screws don't seat at all and the legs flop around and the unit doesn't sit properly. I had to put books under it to keep it from falling forward. 2) No Bluetooth to connect headphones. It's 2024..this should be a no-brainer, but shame on me for thinking it would be standard. 3) Absolutely ridiculous the amount of storage this unit does NOT have. The user is VERY limited in the number of apps that can be downloaded. Ran out of room with just a handful added: Samsung, MAX, Prime, Neflix, Peacock, and Hulu...that's it. Want to add more...nope...can't do it! 4) Can't wait to get rid of it.

Just got this TV 8/1/17. I think the TV works fine, but one of main reasons I got it is because it has full access to the internet. Unfortunately, the one feature I wanted to use on it is the Spectrum App. Spectrum support has told me that everything is connected properly, but when I try to log into the Spectrum TV App, I get an error message SCF-1003. According to Spectrum, the TV needs a firmware update. I have the latest update installed on m Samsung TV UN28M4500 (version 1106), but the Spectrum App still does not work. I googled the problem and there are numerous problems like this between the Spectrum App and Samsung TVs. Wish someone would fix it. I give the TV a higher rating is this feature worked.

I bought this TV last March for my guest room. Unfortunately with pandemic situation, they never came to visit (they live in USA and I live in Canada). I decided to use this TV for my own bedrrom. I tried to use the smart view in order to watch my Bell Fibe TV programs but it never worked. I called Samsung TV support who told me this was more of an issue with my Samsung mobile products (Tablet and Mobile phone). So I called the Samsung mobile departement who concluded of a potential incompatibility with the TV. Thing is, I have a 60 inch TV and the smart view works fine (with both mobile products). They suggested to reconfigure/reinitialize all my mobile products (you lose all your info). So seeing all the trouble I am having with this TV, I DO NOT recommand this one to anyone thinking in using smart view instead of a streaming device. Too bad since the images a very nice for a small TV. I could return the TV to Costco no problem if only I was not strictly conefined due to my cancer treatments! (And NO ONE will want to wait in those infinite line ups to return it in my name). So I will try with a Fire stick in hope this will work better!

the size and picture is good. but after 11 years since the previous tv, we thought the technology would have gotten better. unfortunately, navigating the menu is increeeedibly slow, sometimes up to a few seconds' delay for each button, which gets really annoying when you're trying to search for titles or enter email addresses. additionally, the tv also stutters and hiccups sometimes when using the built-in apps, making a show inpossible to watch comfortably. yet, when i use chromecast for the same program on the same tv, that doesn't happen. so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the wifi. so far it has been "ok" for us. we just have one tv so we are walking on eggshells to see if it craps out on us early.

wow.. this is easily the most frustrating purchase! the wifi connection is terrible. nothing else in our home has any issues at all getting and staying connected (and these items are much older and not even considered “smart”). every time we turn the tv on, theres no connection. when watching anything, the lagging is just enough to make us just watch from our iphones. yuck. super bummed because we thought this would be a good purchase. also, was excited to see that i could operate the tv through an app. of course that doesn’t work either. it constantly is telling me that the tv is not on. i’m young and very tech-savvy so this is not user error. we will switch back to our vizio that we loved and shouldn’t have switched from.

this has been the most frustrating tv i have ever owned. the wifi never stays connected after it has been powered off. i have to manually input my password everytime i turn it on. the second issue i have encountered is the remote control. the buttons are not placed ergonomically, and does not light up in the dark. i literally have to turn on a light to change the channel because if you press the wrong button you could end up exiting the app you were in etc. i end up so annoyed i turn it off. sorry to gripe, but i am extrememly dissapointed with this purchase.

I bought this so I would have built in streaming options. I took a bit of internet searching to add the Spectrum TV app, but I finally got it working. The sleep timer takes several steps to find through the "settings," I did find a shorter way through the home screen but it's annoying to get out of what you are watching to get to it. The best way I found was to connect Smartthings App to Alexa. I can ask her to turn it off. I also which the remote had a button to light up the key pad or glow in the dark. Overall, it's a nice TV once I got it set up.

call me old fashioned, but some video is broadcast/transmitted at ratio 16:9, some at 4:3. prefer correct ratio when viewing. don’t like stretched images. older tvs had a command so the tv would detect and adjust picture ratio automatically. not this tv. have explored settings, cannot find automatic adjustment. can’t use ‘custom’ picture size or ‘fit to screen’ settings to accomplish my goal, being able to switch channels without having to correct ratio. don't like having to manually change picture size settings each time i change channels. hey samsung, lots of programming is still in 4:3. will be purchasing another tv in near future, but not samsung if i have to “unstretch” picture each time i change channel. dumb ‘smart’ tv.

i got this tv for my bedroom, to replace an older, non-smart sony. the tv isnt bad, although mine came with the holes in the bottom misaligned, which made securing the feet really difficult. the menu isn’t great, either, but that may be me coming from a roku device, which is intuitive. this one, however, is not. the remote is total crap. the tv is ~9 feet from my bed, and i can’t turn the set on/off, change the volume or channel from my bed. in fact, you have to basically be 3 inches from the set for the remote to work at all. it’s not a battery issue, either. i tried it with the included no-name batteries. i tried it with some batteries i had here. i even went and bought fresh batteries. no dice. remote is just junk. it’s very disappointing.

the screen resolution is good however the rf receiver is spotty. it does not have an rf signal strength meter. i use an antenna for over the air tv channels and use the signal strength meter for proper direction of the antenna. i use a magnivox over the air dvr and plug it in through the hdmi port. when the tv has trouble receiving a tv signal, i switch to the magnivox and the signal is solid. the samsung tv has an odor like an over heating electronic component which makes me concerned. over all i wish i looked around for a better tv.

mom is 74 and this smart tv is a big let down for her age. first of all using the app on a iphone to setup this tv did not work. it hung up and made us very frustrated. somehow i was able to setup without the app eventually. then you cannot delete the pre installed apps on the home screen. she only needs one app to access cable tv provider spectrum. so she has to figure out how to bypass the pre installed apps just to get to the only app she needs. the remote is just terrible to use. very poor design. go with a roku tv instead.

Connected to my stereo for watching live concerts is nice, I like to use the TV with a usb drive. I wish it played more recorded formats,. It works with MP4 but not AVI,. For the price of the tv it's great. Doesn't take up space and it's light.

crisp picture but horrible color. good sound volume compared to other brands but absolutely poor quality—like listening to pre-stereo radio. materials feel cheap low quality. i have own two comparable toshibas and by far the picture color is far more superior, better sound quality albeit with lower sound projection and much higher quality sturdier materials. and within same price range. glad this samsung was a gift from my employer, otherwise i would never considered it as a purchase option.

I had bought this television over the summer, my mom and I were worried that it was going to be too big-as it was going to be located on her dresser. The television is a nice size, not too big and not too small. The installation was very straightforward, I did it by myself and the set up did not take long either. The colour and brightness is of good quality and it’s a good television to watch basic cable and/or Netflix (or any third party subscriptions). We are satisfied with this product.

It’s not bad TV for the price. However it’s not easy to get it working unfortunately it has the older menu system that’s Not as easy to get started with as the newer models. Other then that it’s decent.

this tv has literally everything I love all it's features but it's missing a headphone jack my tv just broke today and i got this one to replace it but unfortunately it doesn't have a headphone jack i loved that feature in my old t v because i have terrible hearing and people always complain about how loud i watch tv it hasn't been a problem for the last few years cause i could just plug in headphones now i can't but that's my only complaint though i love everything else about this tv

I bought my unit over a year ago for my refurbished bedroom to use as a satellite television receiver and computer monitor. I also added a local over the air antenna to it for “just in case” situations of power/satellite/cable outage. I have NO reservations about recommending this unit! The only thing I wish it had is a timer to turn it ON automatically in the morning like the old Samsung unit it replaced, and a external speaker connection in addition to the digital audio output.

this is an excellent smart tv which i use in my bedroom. picture clarity is very good, set up was reasonable and easy, and it's compatible with my amazon fire stick as well. i use it with an indoor antenna and have had no issues whatsoever. also, samsung tv plus is an interesting feature and worth exploring. one wishes the remote was a tad simpler and that the process of getting back to where you were was more clear, but i'm learning! overall, a good little tv. i recommend it.

We bought this model to replace an existing TV in our master bedroom that had stopped responding to remote controls. It's the perfect size to mount on a wall bracket in a bedroom and picture quality is excellent. But the best feature is that the sound is also excellent--something you don't often find in small, flat screen TVs these days. In fact, the sound on our main TV in the den was so bad that we had to add a sound bar! This Samsung definitely doesn't need a sound bar.

I've had this TV for about 3 months now and I can't say enough good things about it. For starters, it comes with its own TV channels for the whole family. From cartoons to news to day and night time favorite tv shows. All free by the way. If you don't like live TV you can access YouTube, prime video Netflix or many more great media websites. I can even sync my TV to my Samsung phone and watch TV anywhere in the house. My favorite thing however has to be how easy this TV is to use and how sharp and bright the picture is. It's a perfect fit for all average sized rooms in the home and the audio is outstanding. Last but definitely not least; you can use it as a computer. I actually added a wireless keyboard, using a USB port in the back of the TV to navigate its web browser and use it like a computer. It's by far a great TV

i am happy with tv picture, sound & perfect size. i am disappointed because this tv is not one of the samsung models that is able to download the xfinity app for my xfinity tv viewing. i am able to download netflix, amazon, apple +, disney + but not xfinity. i am very disappointed. make sure if you are trying to eliminate your tv box that you check the model #'s that are acceptable. i knocked a star off because of misinformation i received.

I agree with another reviewer on the need to upgrade the remote. We specifically bought a Samsung because we love the remote for our larger TV. We were so disappointed that we didn’t get the improved remote. And for some reason that style remote is not even compatible with this tv if we wanted to buy it separately. Additionally, the sound is not as good as the tv this replaced. Doesn’t bother me much, but my husband really notices.

We purchased thi s TV after spouse added Direct TV in my reading cave where I previously had only antenna hook up on an old piece of junk TV. After I was able to get all those channels, I realized how yucky the picture was but didn’t want to spend a lot. This was the perfect choice. It has all the features I want plus lots more and it fits perfectly on the desk where it had to be placed. Great choice when you can’t spend a lot.

I bought this TV one year and four days ago. It has been nearly untouched in a guest bedroom. Used about 10 times total. Tonight the screen went black with no hope of turning back on. Sound still works, but no picture, which is pretty much the point of a TV. I am just stunned at how quickly this TV has failed. Meanwhile, my 11-year-old Vizio is still working like a champ. Just disappointed overall in this TV.

Haven't had it very long, but am very pleased with the options and picture quality. What I am disappointed in, is the sound. I am hearing challenged and have to run the volume up all the way to 100, the max allowable just to hear the audio at a comfortable level, and yes I tried adjusting sound control options. Had I known in advance of the poor sound control, I would not have purchased this brand.

I've had this t.v. for around a week now. I use it in a travel trailer and use it with an antenna, not cable. Because I use an antenna the picture quality varies good to very good, so I can not say it is because of the t.v. itself. I like how quickly this t.v. responds to the remote vs. the t.v. it replaced when I had to wait for the tuner. One thing that kind of irks me about this t.v. is after turning the t.v. on the channel selection (?) appears, blocking a good portion of the bottom of the screen and have to wait for it to disappear. But what REALLY irks me TREMENDOUSLY is the design of the remote. My issue with this is that the bottom of the remote is rounded. If the bottom was flat you can use it with one finger without having to pick it up. This makes a big difference such as when you are eating and your hands are greasy! Samsung is not the only brand with this same design.

I purchased my Samsung 32 inch HD Smart T.V. a few months ago from our new Costco Store in Brantford Ontario. The price was affordable for me and the size is perfect for my bedroom. It has a crisp and clear picture that makes it very enjoyable to watch. The selection of TV shows is amazing. At first we liked it better than our last tv. Then all of a sudden the sound messed up. The voices were garbled and the volume kept changing from quiet to really loud. We finally turned it off then back on again and it started working correctly. We don’t know if we should expect it to mess up again or not. Should we return it now, or wait and see. We only had it a week when this happened.

After trying everything, including checking for laptop driver updates and TV software, this TV just won't connect to my laptop via HDMI. All I get is a message that I need to change the resolution on my laptop. Tried that - still doesn't work. It doesn't help that no one can say what resolution I need to change it to. PC/laptop is my main input so this was a complete bust.

bought for a bedroom. would say mounting is preferred, color and picture are very good for this dynamic. the "set-up" process took about a half hour. on the good side, you get a pretty quick tutorial on how the tv works. still testing the wifi hook up reliability and speed. the volume is good for this size room. bought this for my child’s room. i turn the tv on and it says wifi is not connected and to check my router. all my other devices at home are connected to my router and show that the router is working fine. i turn the tv off and back on and sometimes the wifi works. why does a brand new product not do what it is supposed to do? almost like i found it in the garbage.

Excellent picture quality and sound. Problem has not been resolved with Xfinity App. Internet page to Xfinity will not open. Its unsettling to buy a product where there is a compatibility issue. Compatibility should be addressed on box so as buyer is aware prior to purchase. The blame game goes on as Samsung fingers Xfinity as the problem and vice versa.

Picture is good and it steams well. I do get quite frustrated with the cluttered remote and the fact that Samsung autoplay keeps going even though I turned it off in settings. I HATE any autoplay! I would prefer the TV to start with a nice clear menu that I could customize. The app store has very few choices. I will deal with it but I wouldn't buy another.

I bought this tv because my previous tv broke, and I am so glad I went with Samsung! The picture quality is fantastic and the performance works better than I thought! hi- love the samsung tv, however a few things i do not like. it comes with apps on the home. you cant delete the ones that came on it which i do not use any of them. i also do not like how with spectrum sreaming you can dvr on the tv itself which i confirmed with spectrum that its a samsung restriction with the spectrum tv app. a little disappointing.

when samsung says budget TV they mean it. pixel density is REALLY bad you can see them from a normal distance and see each rgb micropixel up close, software is really bad, it runs a super stripped version of tizenos which is NOTHING like what they advertise. only get this tv as a last resort and also LAGS way too much with normal apps like netflix.

Could not access Prime Video. Said I had to install it. Got an error trying. Had to use my Roku stick on a smart tv to watch Prime. Ha Ha. Keep getting message that it’s out of space. Space for what? I put 256 gig thumb drive in it. Still getting. Piece of junk, heading to the dump. Had it 10 months ago and can’t take it anymore. Done with Samsung

Have had tv for 1 month. I have other Samsung tv's but this is the first smart tv. The only complaint is that the new smart tv sound is not in sync with the other Samsung tv's in the house, when connected to cable, and on the same channel. Has a slight echo effect. If watching same channel in different rooms have to turn sound off on one of them.

Our bedroom TV stopped because of OLD age, therefore we bought the Samsung M4500 HD TV WOW! Now I can fully enjoy TV watching. I'm trying to figure a way do seed up the demise of our family-room tube TV. My wife says it is still OK. BUT, why is she always watching TV in the bedroom?? Could it be that it is better than family-room TV? I wonder!

Love the tv. It works great, no problem with initial set up. It's what I would expect from Samsung. I was pleasantly surprised by the Samsung TV Plus feature. All kinds of channels to choose from for free tv shows. Love that. In the past 15 years I have bought 4 other tv's, all still work like new. My fridge and stove are also Samsung.

Great price, good quality pic and super easy to use. The technological features are a added bonus. I can mirror my phone onto tv screen. I can also watching free movies on their app. Volume is loud at the lowest mode. Easy set up and stream well with high quality HD pics. A must buy. You will love at this price too.

we were worried because we couldnt see or hear the tv we were buying before we brought it home. we were pleasantly surprised that we did not need a sound bar. the sound was good, so was the picture! the only problem we are having is using it without a cable box, its very complicated to get to the channels we like.

I bought this Samsung 3 weeks ago. This is my 4th Samsung TV over the years. The only thing that is wrong with this TV is the little "feet" that hold the TV up are not right. They are making the TV kind of fall forward and I have had to insert cardboard to prop them up. So scared the TV is going to fall forward.

overall happy with tv. wifi works well. disappointed that no pbs tv app on menu of apps. hard to locate instructions on how to add apps. no spectrum cable icon… only hdmi inputs icons. excellent picture good sound. wish legs raised tv additional 2 cm so cable box/dvr could be placed under/behind tv screen.

this is the second samsung tv i've recently bought where the display has gone out and needed to be replaced just after the standard warranty ran out. this one failed after 15 months. tv isn't left on all the time, only a few hours a day during the work week. probably my last samsung tv with this low of quality

i'm happy with this tv which i purchased to use in my camper. the sound is decent, picture is nice also. the only thing i don't like is that the remote has the number panel at the top so the north, south, east, west, and select buttons are too low making it a bit clumsy to operate. i would buy it again.

i am mostly enjoying this tv , *except* that the unit has been out-gassing [plastic chemical fumes ) for weeks now ,that make my apartment smell bad. ... and also i worry about breathing that ?! is there something i can do to mitigate that? it doesn`t matter if it is turned on or off , btw) thanks.

this is an excellent smart tv... good quality, great picture, and plenty of apps to load. the only flaw is in the design or quality of the sound. there is a vibration if you raise the gain above 18 which can be very annoying. it only occurs with certain resonant frequencies, be it a voice or music.

the remote is so cluttered you can't find anything. the screen has constant static and the focus seems to be to to to force you to watch samsung tv, you can't escape it. also, the onscreen log ins for apps is extremely frustrating, i have no idea how to make capital letters for my passwords.

This is a great TV. Ever since I purchased it I have been watching it every night. Moving to smart TV is not easy but totally worth it. I’m now able to enjoy a lot of features that I wasn’t able to. Also, the resolution is much better. I definitely recommend this TV for a small family to use!

This is a great little TV, unless you want sound coming from it after 15 months of ownership. I expected more from Samsung as I have had good experiences with my larger Samsung TVs. Very disapointed that I now have a very loud hum and popping and crackling sounds coming from the speaker.

perfect fit for my bedroom. excellent color and sound and it is very light weight and so easy to install. i only have it on for a couple hours each night, but viewing it is a great way to end the day. i have had no problems with it and all the smart features are easy to access and use.

first thing i noticed is that the frame lacks the fine details it needs. between the screen and frame are gaps that could potentially become dust bins and nooks. being 32” compared to older models, the size of the whole set becomes smaller precisely because of the frame and the stand.

i would have given this 4 stars if you could get hulu app on the tv. you can get so many others that you don't need. if you want hulu do not buy this tv. other than that it is a nice tv with a very sharp picture despite being only 720. works perfect in the kitchen and you can get all.

I've had my Samsung tv now for 2 weeks, I'm happy with the picture of the set; it takes a little time to set the volume up since there are 2 settings to go through. But overall I'm very happy. It's made Vietnam instead of China and that's one of the reasons I purchased this tv.

Good picture, but after 2 months the sound will only play at full volume and is garbled. Now I have to use a smart speaker, which means turning on and off two devices... Not the quality I was expecting, I'm quite happy with all my other Samsung stuff, but this kinda irks me a bit.

Only had the product 2 weeks. The hard remote only worked about 30% of the time and the remote on my phone took sometime to connect to the TV. Also one day I turned it on and it made a continuous loud noise. Had to restart twice to make the audio normal again. Returned to store.

I really like the picture quality but I was very disappointed I could not access my home network at all. Apparently Rogers is not compatible. I do not like the “Samsung tv” stations so I’ve got the Global app and Prime. Good thing the picture quality is very good and the sound.

I bought this a few weeks ago. The picture quality is great. The amount of memory is not. I had to delete several apps to get our local cable company’s app to load. I am also having trouble doing certain things with the remote. A informative manual would be helpful.

this tv is great - the picture quality is excellent, the setup was quick & easy. the best bang for the buck in my honest opinion. be careful when adding screws to hold on the feet (base) - shine a light in there so you can see where the holes for the holes are located.

Slow OS, menu does not provide the features required to use some of the apps. Low resolution. For this day in age such a low resolution is not excusable. This tv almost feels like it was not built by Samsung but by a third company and the Samsung logo was placed on it.

It's not very good but not very bad, it's normal, the quality is bad when you look up close but from afar it's good, the sound quality is not very good from what I hear, I lost the remote control and now I'm using the keyboard. 3 stars, it's normal, I like it

Love the picture and sound - not happy more detailed directions for set up were included. Please redesign the remote - too many buttons and buttons too small especially when you are in bed in a dark room and have to “feel” your way to the correct button.

Overall, the TV has performed extremely well. My only minor issue is that the internal Wi-Fi component of the DV is not particularly good. It works fine for the most part. But I found adding an external Roku stick improve its performance tremendously.

Bought about 1 month ago. Has an ad on the smart menu. The Samsung app and smart TV app are locked in place at the front of the menu. Can't uninstall pre-installed apps. Could be a good tv if the removed the ads and let you customize the menu.

We like our new Samsung Smart TV. It is nice and small, fits our space and allows to run our different apps. Our only issue is it has moments where the sound is weird and we don't know why, but we turn it off and back on and it seems to work.

The picture is fine. I absolutely hate the remote control. It has so many buttons and os challenging to use in the dark. It has no sleep timer. The apps are hard to get to and download. I wouldn’t recommend it and will probably return mine.
