I live in a flat with a concrete floor and every washing machine I have had makes a real racket when on a full 1400 spin, this machine hardly makes a sound thanks to the digital inverter technology. When on a full spin you can talk at a normal volume, watch TV and talk on your mobile phone. The load capacity is fantastic and it calibrates before every wash to ensure that your washload is evenly distributed. The bubble technology makes sure every piece of clothing is clean and every stain is removed. The graphite colour way means the washing machine is even nice to look at! I really cannot recommend this machine highly enough, like the energy rating it is A+++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with my new Washing machine. Not quite as quiet as I'd expected from other reviews but to be fair alot quieter than my previous machine. Good choice of programmes and it shortens the cycle itself if under weight which is a great feature. Like that it switches off when finished saving energy. Clothes come out really clean and that's without the use of the bubble technology. Have yet to try this feature. A good choice just annoying to find it's gone down £50 in last few days since I bought it. Very annoying!! Shop around for best price. Recommend to others looking for a family sized, energy efficient machine.

When working this machine is fine, reasonable range of cycles and clothes generally come out cleaned well - although doesn’t always work well with pods which sometimes stay by the door and don’t open fully. However our machine has broken twice in the first 6 months, despite light-average use (2 person, adult household). Our spin cycle doesn’t work and whilst getting the first repair booked was easy, getting it repaired a second time is turning out to be very difficult. We’ve had a total of over 3 weeks with no working washing machine in the last month which is incredibly frustrating. I would recommend this machine for this reason.

I bought this a year ago and it simply cannot wash bed linen or towels. Anything that gets too heavy when wet, even a single towel that I balance in a load of washing seems to make the barrel bang LOUDLY into the side walls of the machine - the walls visibly are being banged by the tub. Like I’ll put a thick sheet in, distributed amongst other items, and it ends up in a single heavy ball by the spin cycle. My previous Samsung washing machine had no trouble with these items at all. The touch screen buttons are annoying as all hell, if I lean over my machine while it’s on, it turns it off from the pressure of my leg touching it.

Lots quieter than my old washing machine and once I got the tap turned on properly for the cold water pipe it was running like a dream. Love how it works out how much water to use , what kind of spin you might need etc.., depending on the cycle you pick and the weight of your clothes. Even though it is pre programmed on certain cycles you can still alter the temp, how many rinses and the speed of the spin. So not set in stone. I actually like my music when it sings to you at the start of the cycle and end but you can switch this off. Well worth its money for the extra 5 year warranty .

We have bought our first Samsung washing machine after our original one broke. I am pleasantly surprised by the great design, easy fitting of it as well! The washing machine has many options, which is amazing. I am really impressed with how quickly I was able to set up and connect to the app. The washing machine's app allows me to choose my washing cycle. My favourite option so far is the ability to pause mid cycle to add or remove clothes. It also has ecobubble and allows for steam washing which I am looking forward to test. The washing machine is very quiet compared to my my old one. It is easy to use and has energy saving and energy tracking function.

Bought in November 2020, with the 5 year guarantee. Went into hospital had operation, when I eventually left hospital, went to use washing machine, half load. When I went back 20 minutes later, smell of fumes coming from back of machine, turned it off. Eventually I went to Curries to explain, as it was over a year old, 17 months, wasn't under warranty, gave me Samsung Number, explained what happened, sent an engineer out, he took the top off, said it was water damage caused by connection. Weeks later I have tried Curries, Samsung, and I have been told to claim from my home insurance. Looks like 5 year warranty is no good?

This machine is a bit of a con. Despite being advertised as an 8.5 kilo machine, that capacity is only available on one of the (many) wash programmes. The majority are significantly less than the advertised 8.5 kilos. This means multiple loads, a maths degree, and a set of scales to try and determine the maximum capacity. Water efficiency ? Meh. The machine should have been made in the days of rock 'n roll, because that's all it does, despite being levelled to within an inch of its life. Some good features but in essence is a 'banger' . The noise it makes doubles as a home security alarm. A huge disappointment.

The presentation of the instructions does not really generate the same impression. One thing that would be nice for manufacturers to provide is a small laminated card listing recommended weight for different washes so that it can be left out. We have 4 adults in the house using our machine. A simple card as a guide would help to encourage correct use. Perhaps with dos and don’ts. Do zip up zips, turn buttons and embroidery inside etc. Don’t wash wash waterproof garments, shoes, rubber backed mats etc

Just had this a day ago. I had no washer for almost 2 months as LG messed about with the repair. Finally I've got this new Samsung. As soon as it is set up I had to wash 4 loads.. Wash after wash. It is better compared to my old one which is almost cost the same price. I love the different programs and the tune after wash. Delivered on time by 2 gentlemen to my kitchen. Hats off to them as they had to go through 28 steps(felt sorry for them.. The joy living in the top floor). At the back of the machine there's a dent but didn't affect the use. Overall so far it is a great machine I hope it will last more than 5years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks a really good buy overall. Initial thoughts having observed washer during paid installation Drum Clean are; 1. Waste hose is to short. If there is a need for maintenance, this would have to be disconnected inorder for washer to be pulled fully out. 2. Make sure if you pay for installation get the serial number off the back of the washer (if not visible on the front) before the installer fits it. A nightmare to pull out even on a smooth tiled surface. 3. Not as quiet as my previous 16 years old, fault free washer, but acceptable. 4. Had difficulty connecting to Smart Things even with very good WiFi.

I am extremely happy i opted for a samsung washing machine its so quiet and the functions you can aet directly from your phone is amazing,my husband has always bought samsung phones and tablets and we thought let's give the white goods a go and we have not been disappointed.its a quality product for a fabulous price,and it comes with 5years extended warranty and 20 years motor parts,so confident is samsung their goods will last.and that is a rare thing these days for washing machines to last a year never mind 5 years and beyond.i will definitely be looking in future into buying more smart goods from samsung.

So having read a lot of reviews and done a bit of research, I chose my new Samsung. So far I have been very pleased, it washes well, there is a variety of programmes to choose, has all the features I need and as I live on my own, the size is just right. It is relatively quiet, especially after my las t machine and plays a nice little tune when its finished, bonus! A family may need a bigger machine, however for myself, this is just right. I was also drawn to the extended warranty which is a big help after my last machine only lasted 3 or 4 years.

Very pleased with our washing machine so far. The extended warranty of 5 years gave me a lot more confidence as we had only recently bought a Bosch (3 years ago) and it died and cost a fortune to mend so ended up buying a new Samsung. Have purchased other Samsung products and have not been disappointed so hopefully our experience with the washing machine will be the same. So far the it's been very quiet, easy to use and washes well. Does what it needs to do and I am more than happy with that. The extended warranty makes it good value too. I thought the 8kg would be a little big for the two of us but, in reality, it ultimately leads to the need to do less washes. Good stuff and would recommend it.

The design of this machine is poor! Socks regularly get stuck in the door seal and then you have to squeeze the water out of them at the end of the cycle as they haven’t been spun. If the socks are white you can expect them to turn grey having been stuck in the door seal. In addition the child lock on this machine is ridiculous and laughable frankly. It stops the child from changing the settings but doesn’t prevent them from turning the machine off entirely in the middle of its cycle. There is then no way to resume where it was up to so you have to start again. Frustrating at best!!

We purchased this about a month ago and it gets used a lot as a family with two kids and a big dog. We’ve noticed a real flaw in the design where the rubber seal gets socks and smaller garments stuck in it, the space in the rubber seal is a lot larger than our previous washing machine and we haven’t experienced this with other washing machines we have had just this one. The small garments aren’t properly cleaned and haven’t been in the spin so are soaked too. The dog hair tends to clog up in there too I think because it’s getting trapped and blocked. Requires a lot of cleaning in the rubber seal area because of this. May replace machine with another as it doesn’t feel nice things are getting missed.

This is a good washing machine and really is very quiet - which is the primary reason I bought it. However the child lock does not lock the power button - which is arguably the most fun button for a toddler to press because it makes a fun noise. I wish I had known this before buying - who makes a child lock and doesn't lock ALL the buttons!? So 2.5 hours into a 3 hour wash my toddler can come along and just turn it off, meaning the child lock is essentially useless. I wish I had bought a Hotpoint because the child lock works properly, but I can't be bothered to deal with Samsung to return this one. Having said all that the actual washing is really good and it really is as quiet as everyone says.

Had our last Samsung washing machine for around 11 years but the suspension finally gave up the ghost. The great value we had from that machine was a no brainer for us to get another Samsung. This one is even quieter than the last one and now has a 20 year motor guarantee and a 5 year parts and labour warranty. One of the best features is the quick wash setting which starts at 15 minutes (or a bit longer if you change spin speed or temperature) and is ideal for lightly soiled garments such as shirts, blouses or underwear, saves a lot on electricity and water... Great upgrade... 👍🏻

Smart washing machine, who'd a thunk you needed one. With previous machines it was always a guessing game as to what settings, temperatures, times, weights were needed for the best results. With the series 5 ecobubble, my prayers have been answered. Using the SmartThings app I can input whatever my load is and the app will not only give me suggestions but send the instructions to the machine so there is no faffing about with spinning dials and mis-pressing buttons. One of the most user friendly items I own. So happy. Bit sad to be overjoyed with a washing machine but there you go.

I have been using my new machine for almost a week now and I love it. The bubble soak option and 15 minute quick wash are wonderful additions compared to my old machine, and the interface of the machine is really user friendly. I love the sound effects when turning on/off the machine, choosing your wash and when the cycle ends. Also very glad I chose this colour way, the black door is really sleek and unusual compared to other models out there. A very welcome and surprisingly reasonable addition to my kitchen, I'm very glad I chose this Samsung model and would highly recommend it.

bought 3mnt a go since then struggling getting solution for issue. The detergent drawer don't hold liquid detergent for main cycle so pre-wash function is useless. all the detergent is used in prewash cycle and nothing left for main cycle. Tech visited 2 times and not solved , said its same in all series in samsung. Now samsung says machine is working fine and can't be solve while this is design issue with samsung and they are not able to accept it. very disappointed with samsung this time while i had may product of them with no issue and when there is issue they putup the hand. Never will be investing these expensive gints product... rather go for cheaper as i can buy 2 with this money even its faulty .

Replaced 7+ year old near identical machine. It has a programmer fault and leaking seal. Uneconomical to repair, albeit it would have easily kept going part from that. Decided to go again with Samsung. They offered a big return customer discount. New model looks a little better built on the door and has a few new features, such as steam setting. Like the old one it is quite when new - didn't last before! Supposedly comes with 5 year warranty but the website so far will not recognise the serial number copied and pasted off the Samsung OnLine invoice! Will try and solve.

I recently purchased this washing machine as an upgrade from an old one. The design is quite sleek (although would have preferred a straight up black option, but that's my own personal preference), the features and performance are spot on with a wash for near enough every occasion (as well as a very quick 15 minute wash for lightly soiled clothes). The biggest draw for myself was that this washing machine is A+ rated in terms of energy saving and to couple that with a VERY quiet machine, is honestly phenomenal. It took me roughly 10 minutes to install the machine and within another 20 minutes, I had completed my first wash with it! Highly recommend and I feel like it's one of the best at this price range.

I wasn't aware of all the features it had until I got it delivered. I didn't even realize this was WiFi connectable, a feature I didn't think I would use, but it has come in handy a few times now when I've needed to program a wash cycle and have it finish just before getting home from work. There are many different wash cycle options, I don't think I'll ever need to use them all. The build seems very sturdy and I'm surprised at how much quieter it is compared to my old washer.

It is our first Samsung home appliance and we have heard good things so we're keeping our fingers crossed all continues to work well. The only feedback we have is that to register the product for the 5 year guarantee, the product details were not on the machine where the online support information said it would be. However, after a few moments, we found the information needed to complete the registration within the allotted time frame.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes, and it came at an auspicious time, as we were looking for a new one.The washing machine is very quiet which is great especially when I have to do laundry when the rest of the house is asleep. The spin takes out a lot of the water giving room for a quick drying time, With a 9kg capacity, I can have more laundry done in less time - another great feature. The 15 minutes quick wash is very helpful for washing that needs minimal time. The washing machine removes stains and soil on clothes properly. I feel this is the best feature (ecobubble) as the detergent penetrates the fabric better removing dirt/stain easily. Previously I had to wash some of the kids soiled clothing twice but not anymore! The balance created from calibration creates a smooth sound to the drum spin. This washing machine has a lot of settings for washing to suit different kinds of fabric. In addition, one can add additional rinse cycles.This washing machine is well designed and performs wonderfully. I highly recommend the washing machine as a great product to invest in.

Love the smooth settings control dial that lights up and chimes. Door closes like a Rolls Royce. Very quiet while operating. Clothes are coming out smelling great and cleaning some old stains that my previous machine couldn’t. With a B energy rating this machine should save me money in the long term too. Love the little tune it plays when its cycle is complete. Clothes are coming out very dry after the spin cycle. Would highly recommend this product.

This is my second ecobubble but the sixth Samsung electrical product over the years and the reliability of what you are getting is excellent! This ecobubble 5 has more features and a digital inverter which makes it run extremely quietly ! It’s variable short wash (15 mins ) is refreshing as now the temperature can be increased as well as the spin speed! Excellent facility if short on time or need items washed quickly! Would always recommend a Samsung ecobubble! I am a convert!

This is the first Samsung washing machine we have ever owned. It is quiet in operation. The controls took a bit of getting use to as the layout is different to my old machine. Something I noticed was that the drum spins a few times before the water is added if you use a liquid filled ball in the washing this might be an issue to you if you use a delayed start cycle. I don't use that option so it is not an issue for me but do a bit of research if you do to make sure it wont cause you problems. Overall I am very pleased with it and the wash it produces.

I live in a flat with a concrete floor and every washing machine I have had makes a real racket when on a full 1400 spin, this machine hardly makes a sound thanks to the digital inverter technology. When on a full spin you can talk at a normal volume, watch TV and talk on your mobile phone. The load capacity is fantastic, and it calibrates before every wash to ensure that your wash load is evenly distributed. The bubble technology makes sure every piece of clothing is clean and every stain is removed. The graphite colour way means the washing machine is even nice to look at! I really cannot recommend this machine highly enough, like the energy rating it is A+++

If you’re not tech savvy believe me save your money and look elsewhere. Some functions you would never use and to be fair not require. Why no spin function only is beyond me. Why oh why don’t these makers of washing machines just produce a washing machine that just washes for 30 mins at any temperature and has various spin levels. Something simple, basic and user friendly. You’re probably wondering why I’m writing a critical review about a Samsung WW80CGC04DAE? I’m actually writing it on behalf of my partner who I might add returned the product.

Washing machine feels fresh, should suit lots of modern décor with the black screen, dial and door as well as the blue display digits and cycle selection dial lights. Cycles are varied including the eco bubble option, steam, and also various options for temperature and spin speed on most cycles I have tried. Downsides hence the 4 star are the slightly larger body size which may make it unsuitable for some spaces and the tendency for the washing machine to perform very long cycles e.g. when selecting a cycle, eco cotton may say approximately one and a half hours for the selected temperature, washes and spin speed but once the cycle starts and the door locks, the time displayed changes to close to three hours, which does seem excessively long.

it seems very complicated to start with but once you get use to it it is very easy to use and especially being able to change the temperatures and spin speeds to suit your own program rather than the preset program i.e. you can have 40deg wash on the short cycle. The fact that the time changes to suit the program you have selected, one thing is the fact you can open the door as soon as it finishes rather than having to wait like our previous machine, one novel feature is the tune it plays when it has finished and also it gives a good claen.

This machine is not fit for purpose. Sold as an 8.5kg machine but unless you use the longest cycles only 4kg can go in at one time. No good for a family. Clothes do not wash properly. Does not heat own water despite not being advertised as requiring hot water input Clothes do not come out clean. They come out stained and with food still attached. Towels come out with toothpaste smears. Nothing smells clean. It’s not fit for purpose and we’ll be needing another new machine. Super disappointed as I typically only buy Samsung front loaders.

Only had it a day and it is still doing its first wash so can't comment on durability or effectiveness of the wash just yet, but have a feeling we'll be pleased! Happy with the ease of installation and the quiet cycle. You can pause the cycle and the door opens straight away which is good. Drawback was that the calibration instructions in the booklet provided were not specific to our model so we had to google it until we found a YouTube video with our same model. Also, it is not as sleek in person as I thought it looked on the website.

To be clear we are only 10 washes into owning this 9kg Samsung washing machine but wow ! The machine makes a much more palatable noise than any machine we've ever had. We have tried the hygienic steam wash and the results are great, also the first load of towels we washed now look like newer towels ! :-0 how grubby had our washing got ? This Samsung is washing and rinsing our laundry better than we've had for years..ever.. So far very impressed. It's actually easier to use than our last machine even though it has much more features.

quiet machine, love the fact it 'sings' when it finishes. Not used many features as yet but Have washed the dogs beds and towels etc in it this week and then did a drum clean - amazing results - had no hesitations about putting in the next load of our clothes - which came out lovely! What a great feature.. Not sure what all the icons mean when you turn it on, if I had the inclination I'd google them, butwould be nice if they were in the instruction booklet. Fingers crossed it lasts longer than the last one from a competitor (2 years)

I would not purchase this item. I bought one earlier this year, after 6 months use the machine leaked water through the laundry. A Samsung repairer came and inspected machine to discover there was a crack in the plastic drum. The repairer said it seemed to be from a "foreign object" and therefore warranty would not cover it. From the wash the drum seemed to crack which seemed like a manufacturers fault. Prior to this washer we had a Samsung front loader for 10 years which is why we went back. Will not buy a Samsung washer agian!

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. The washing machine has great features to suit any fabric type. It's quick was is very useful for short washed. I have seen the difference the ecobubble makes in washing compared to my previous washing machine. It is very quiet making it possible to do my laundry even at odd hours of the night. Although I haven't used the hygiene stem yet, I am pleased to have such a feature that will increase the level of hygiene in my clothes. You are guaranteed stain removal even without using the pre-wash, great for families with children. The extra rinse features allows for added rinse time during wash. The 9kg capacity is great allowing more wash at a time. I would recommend this product 100%.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this when mine broke down after reading the reviews...I agree that it's quiet on the spin cycle and washes well ( 3 washes done so far: jeans; towels; t-shirts and underwear) good variety of programmes with Quick 15mins wash, Cottons, Mixed Load & Wool, to name a few that I will use. I haven't tried the Ecobubble function yet, but it sounds useful for tough stains. The tune when the wash ends is annoying, but can be switched off!! If you are bothered about the aesthetics, it should be noted that the door is huge and black and doesn't fade into the background!! But obviously doesn't detract from the operation of the machine. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend. It also qualifies for a free Samsung 5 year warranty so that's good too.

The panel is very easy to understand, you don't need to spend 10 mins to figure it out how to get it started. Basically, select the mode and hit the start button. Done! I love the 15 mins fast wash mode, it is fast and quite powerful in cleaning. I highly recommend this model!

Especially like how it weighs the load and shortens the cycle time. Only downside is I can't seem to work out how to use liquid detergent in the compartment as that extra section part for liquid use is very small and awkward to fill, unless I'm not fitting the part on correctly so really wish I'd opted for the machine with auto dose. Overall though everything is working great so far

Terrible machine and awful support from Samsung. Not sure if my machine has an issue but the cycle never ends, leaving my wife and I stressed and the spin does not activate, well some times it does and sometimes it doesn't there is simply no logic. It also ripped our clothes which Samsung put down to an issue with the drum but they never paid for the replacement of the clothes. Ive been trying to get Samsung to send a replacement machine and they simply will not sending out useless support people who never fix my issue.

We had to buy a washing machine in an emergency because our old one broke. This one is truly very nice - VERY quiet, the clothes come out perfectly clean and fresh. But there is one problem - small items get stuck in the gasket at the bottom of the door - especially ankle socks. They need a good squeeze and rinse. I also had a corner of a sweater lodging in the gasket and pushing on the door which caused a bad seal on the door and leak. I doubt I would have bought the machine if I knew this fault in the design.

Annoyingly the child lock doesn’t work for the on/off button so if small fingers press or you lean against it (as it also sticks out from the unit a lot more than our last machine of a different brand), the machine will turn off. When you turn back on, it doesn’t remember the cycle or where it got to so you have to do the load again. It’s frustrating when a long way into the cycle or if drum full of water. This apparently is how it’s meant to be so I feel skeptical of other machines and appliances they have operating in the same way. Feel this is a common-sense miss in the design stage. It also doesn’t remember favourite programs like my last machine so each time I have to set it, which isn’t too much of a hardship but feels like a step back from my ‘old’ machine.

Previously always had Hoover machine and had been haplyt with that machine however took advice from sales staff and decided to purchase Samsung washing machine. Not as happy with my purchase. The 1400 spin I do not think is as efficient, the machine do not fit the space as snuggly, after door is opened the machine do not remain at the off position but programmes itself for another wash which athough it turns off after a while is an irritant. I am less satisfied than with the hoover and I paid more which is not good.

The Series 5 Ecobubble is a really easy to use washing machine we have had one for over 10 years and just replaced it with the same model. The new model is even more energy efficient with extra features of a drum clean and a hygiene steam clean, which will help us look after the product without any additional chemicals. This is the worst machine I have ever had. It bangs and knocks so badly when going onto a spin cycle no matter what I have in it… unless empty. We have checked that it is level and followed all the instructions by the agents in the call centre… made a few different calls and had to go through the same rigmarole each time, clearly no records are kept. Engineer has attended and said this is normal for a large drum machine and to only use half full… still the same like this and what’s the point of buying a large drum machine if you can not utilise it. Had a previous model of this when I lived in Spain with no problems and been told the European market is different. Feel stuck now with this machine for the next 10 years as also bought the tumble dryer to match it which I’m happy with.

Originally somewhat skeptical when the sales mam told me this machine is quiet. I use this machine in an open kitchen. No utility room. The Samsung Series 5 is nothing short of incredible. If I could give it more stars than 5 I would. I cant recommend it enough. I will be adding the Samsung dryer to my wishlist because of the washers quality. Dont hesitate if you're thinking of getting one. It also looks fantastic in the kitchen. A cool grey colour rather than the usual bland white other brands have.

I bought this machine yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. Digital display is absolutely fabulous and lets you see what is going on at each stage of the wash. Super easy to work. I love the fact that it is so quiet too. I washed my bedding and it came out lovely and clean. You can alter temperature and speed of the spin along with also being able to delay the wash. Thrilled to bits with it and the tunes it plays are so calming too at the end of the cycle. Definitely worth its money so far.

I bought this washer to replace my Hotpoint that had already been replaced under warranty & was already broken after just 14 months! I absolutely love this machine already. It is so quiet compared to old machine. I was initially a bit concerned as it didn't have a daily wash ie 60 min wash as I use this a lot. However, after having a fiddle with the programmes you can get a 60 min wash easily. Wash quality is excellent, noise is very quiet compared to my Hotpoint, and it has a decent 5yr warranty.

Love the simple design and features. The SmartThings app : can be connected to other smart devices, the wash features can be set and customised, monitor and notify wash completion. Note: the only drawback is setting up the Wi-Fi connection, due to some compatibility issues. (i.g. my router is configured with 5G & 2.4G using same Wi-Fi name and not possible to connect. The only workaround is to turn on the guest Wi-Fi mode and configure under single mode 2.4G, to resolve the issue).

I'd had my previous LG washer for 11years. I was going to get another one to replace it but when I went to look at the model I wanted I was not impressed with the quality of the machine . I had used my mum's Samsung machine a couple of times and was very impressed with all the features it had . Also with how quiet it was even at full spin . So far my new washer is handling everything I put in it with ease and seeing as my husband works on a farm it tackles his work gear brilliantly.

It has a lot of programs that are useful: hygiene, bedding, and drum cleaning, to mention a few. You can personalise all of them using welI-designed and easy to understand overrides. It is a perfect match of quality, reasonable price and excellent energy and quietness ratings (well deserved As in the last 2 categories). I have an open-plan kitchen and it was really important for me to get a machine that is quiet. You need to be careful with measurements because though the size is standard, the machine is so massive that the front panel may stick out a bit like in the photo, so it is good to make sure that you have enough space in terms of depth. Overall a great appliance like most Samsung stuff I have bought so far.

Wish i never bought this washing machine,,, when select 60 degrees on a mixed load cycycle doesnt seem to reach that temperature before you know it, it starts to rinse at 49 minutes left , which to me seems along time for a rinse cycle.. Also it takes my comfort everytime i fill it, i read it has a sensor and it reaches this sensor it will automatically take it, ive even tryed to put a small amount in but still takes the comfort away, Sorry i wouldnt buy Samsung again!!!!!

Excellent washing machine, very quiet spin, AI when connected to your phone so keep an eye on usage or pop it on when your out and its ready when you come back home. Capacity is 8kg which is great and spacious. Great on electricity, doesn't cost too much which is great and has many many cycles to choose from. Download the AI to your phone and you can do even more cycles and you will find spin only there aswell. All in it's a great machine and would definitely recommend 10/10

So far after a few uses the washing came out clean and the spin was very good. I think that Samsung makes good products and are a reliable brand so here's to another 8 years lol.

We've had this washing machine for less than a month and so far, so good. We've had some issues with the washing duration but I will put this to user error. Also, the way the door closes is a bit...clunky. I've had older washing machine that their doors would lock in a more delicate way but as long as it works, I cannot fault it. Overall, based on the research and available budget, it's as we expect it. Also, considering that we use it almost daily, we hope it will last.

A reliable, quiet machine that can easily handle multiple loads! My only gripe is that I can't lower the temperature of the wash on the eco wash function - it is 40/60 degrees by default. Fine is I'm washing bedding, but on my previous machine I could run an eco wash at lower temps. As a result I don't often use this cycle. And had i known ahead of the purchase, probably would have chosen a different model. For the price though, it is a very good machine otherwise.

This terrible machine will not stabilise even on a level concrete and tiled floor. Jumping around and has even broken the outlet hose bracket. It's alarming and has to be resited after each use! We are weighing each load and have completely levelled it, instructions and support are useless too. It even plays a tune presumably to go with the dance it does. Absolute rubbish...will never buy a Samsung again....even gone off their Tv sets too after this experience. 😳

My last machine lasted 20+ years, it expired last week and has gone for recycling. I shopped around on the internet for reviews and visiting retailers, finally settled on the Samsung Series 5 WW90TA046AE, 9kgs, 1400 spin. Its a delight to use, very logical controls, quiet, minimal vibration when spinning. The 5 year parts and labour warranty clinched the deal for me. Bought from a local retailer and collected ourselves. Easy to install too!! Well worth it!!

Absolutely love this washing machine ❤️ I've had it for a couple of months now and I've got no complaints. The bubble soak technology actually does work as far as I can see. I use it on cycles with stained clothing and it does a good job at lifting the stains. If the stains are a bit more tougher the other features such as pre wash and intensive wash definitely get them out. As a mum of 2 this is great feature to have for when my children make a mess of their clothes. I also love the little tunes it plays as well. Very quiet to the point I had to keep checking the machine was actually on when I was first using it. I like how I'm also able to customise the cycle and also something I haven't had before is being able to pause the cycle and change it even if I've already started a different one. Clothes come out smelling lovely.

Purchased for elderly parents to replace old appliance. The new machine has all the features that were needed with plenty of extra settings that will no doubt be of use. Quiet in operation, compared to old machine and once the operating procedure was understood Mum found the controls, door etc easy to use, she also commented on the tune at the end of the cycle (positively)... so it seems like a good replacement/upgrade and all working/washing well to date.

I had not appreciated that the ‘super speed’ was was only available on the 11kg model. The 8 kg model has nothing between 15minute 2kg wash with comparatively slow spin and programmes taking at least 1 1/2 hours. My last machine had a 40 minute full spin programme that we used all the time and it’s very disappointing that this one doesn’t have such an option. The settings from a mobile phone is useful although you still have to be at the machine to start it, knowing the cycle has ended is a good feature. To get the additional 3 year warranty you need the bar code which is apparently on the rear of the machine. As mine was pushed into place before I knew this and I’m not able to move it myself, I may have to forgo the additional warranty which is annoying. Cleaning performance seems to be fine, but no different to my last machine.

The large drum makes it easy to load and unload laundry. I prefer to use washing liquid and the insert for the dispenser drawer makes me confident that the liquid won't trickle into the wash at the wrong time. It is easy to select a programme and the displays are clear. The sound of the notes when the wash is finished is pleasant.

Really pleased with this new machine after my old machine of almost 15 years broke. The performance of this new machine is excellent, the water saving features very welcome as we are now on a water meter and the quietness is most welcome. Very poor product. Just over a year old, broken twice in last 2 weeks. First technical fault blew the electrics and required replacement. Tripped the electrical system in the house with a loud bang. New electrical parts for the washing machine, and a new power cable. The Samsung machine then failed again within 2 days. Possibly a different failure, engineer calling in 10 days to investigate. Really not good enough, Samsung. Machine not fit for purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had a new WW90TA046TE/EU to replace a 7yr old equivalent model which had seen its best days. The machine looks very much like the previous one, with a front interface that's easy to understand. You can also "quick" wash, rinse and spin at 1200rpm in 28 minutes, whereas the previous model only went up to 800rpm, so you had to put in a separate spin cycle at the end to dry up the wash. Well done Samsung for keeping to a tried and tested design.

I bought mine last week and find my clothes are beautifully clean. The spin cycle in the last 5minutes is very loud and intense but I'm also as a result drying my clothes in half the usual time because they're spun so well. I'd recommend this to anyone with young kids at home that get a lot of food and play stains with addition bubble soak options and my favorite the steam clean. It meets all my needs, I can put up with 5mins of a bit of noise

Bought this washing machine a year ago because loved its appearance and being a well-known brand thought it will an excellent product to purchase. After a short period of use, sadly it didn't meet my expectations at all and the more I use it, the more I realise that I don't like this machine at all. Sadly, I have made the wrong decision choosing this brand (I should have chosen my previously preferred brand with which I have never had any issues). In addition, recently it started to show some glitches with a spinning circle where it just got stuck on the same point for a very long time. Therefore, I had to manually stop the machine to finish the circle. At the time of the purchase, the long warranty offer (5 years) seemed like a big bonus but now I truly regret buying this machine and would definitely not recommend this machine to anyone.

We have only just got this washing machine...cost more than we had planned but does come with an extended warranty. I’m very pleased. The one thing I needed was a machine to be quite and this is the one. I like the choice of programs as they are not too long. It has a quick wash and people have said the music it plays when finished drives then mad, well you can turn that off if your read your instruction book. I chose to have a white door. Only done a few washes but hopefully it will last better than the beko I last had which packed up after 26months.

Being Sight Impaired, I find using the AI on my tablet easier to see and set programmers. I have previously owned a Samsung Washing Machine and this gave 12 years of efficient service. The new machine with the technology built into it, is ideal. The performance is very good, the capacity of the machine is ideal for my needs. The cycle times allow me to pick out whatever I require. This was almost a direct replacement for previous Samsung eco bubble so I did expect it to be good. I have only used it the once so far but it is very quiet and although I only used the 1200 spin speed clothes came out much drier than my previous machine. The most difficult thing was finding the serial number to register the warranty. It was not on the inside of the door but on the front top left of the machine. But so far very happy

I bought a Samsung combo washer and dryer about 3 years ago. I just had problems since. 3 times some piping came loose, flooding the entire laundry room, every time it was a different pipe. Now the machine started smoking from the drum, sending out a horrible smell of burned plastic/rubber. which is kind of scary. This machine is only 3 years old, barely used as is in an household of only 2 people. I will never buy a Samsung again!

I love my new washing machine, i have always had Samsung products. 15 min quick wash has hygiene steam if you just need to freshen something that has sat in your wardrobe for a long time, it has drum cleam. It is just an excellent product all round and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a great washing machine then this on is it or any Samsung product as I have watches, phones, I would not buy anything else.

Good looking machine with (mostly) easy, intuitive settings. Nice large 8kg drum - more than enough for my weekly wash as long as I stick to cotton or ecowash. I'm disappointed that most of the wash cycles have been designed for 2-4kg loads; I find that disingenuous. As you'd expect, the app works well although I was disappointed that downloading a 'custom' cycle is only downloading one of a few pre-defined cycles.

new purchase- Flimsy plastic and poor quality soap drawer. This wont last. Have just replaced a 10 year old Samsung and disappointed to see low quality finish/parts in the new models. additionally after the first wash a blue piece of plastic inside the drawer detached. 8kg machine but many cycles can only take 4kg or 2 kg- takes too long to wash at this weight. also auto soap dispensing only avail on some models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did NOT receive an incentive - I couldn't submit this review without selecting "yes" :S It's a good washing machine. My clothes smell amazing after (I do use softeners!). Easy to use. Just that we use pods and they don't always dissolve fully and stick to the clothes or get stuck in the gap in the drum. Baby socks get stuck in the drum too (I know I can buy laundry bags to put them in but I haven't yet).

To ensure laundry pods melt properly, place them at the very back of the empty drum before adding your clothes. Pods require direct water contact and often fail in cold water or short cycles, as they need warmth to dissolve. We do recommend using laundry bags for smaller items such as baby socks. Such a quiet washing machine & we're really impressed by how well it washes & the spin on it is amazing. All the features & the lighting is really good too & the tune played to let you know your wash has finished is a delightful bonus. This washing has really impressed us & just wish we'd switched to a Samsung model sooner & is honestly a great purchase & we're extremely pleased with our new washing machine
