If an Optical port is a crucial part of your setup needs, you’ll find that connection starting with our Q8F Series and above. Please also know you can easily access your Samsung TV’s Quick Settings by pressing the Settings/Number/Color button located just below the power button on your remote. Each time you press this button, it will toggle between: • Quick Settings menu • Virtual number pad • Color pad options To use Quick Settings: 1. Press the Settings/Number/Color button on your remote 2. When the Quick Settings menu appears, you can adjust commonly used options quickly 3. For more advanced adjustments, scroll to and select All Settings This shortcut helps you access essential features without navigating through the full menu. You can also customize your Home screens by installing, removing or adding your favorite apps to Apps Home and/or For You Home screen. Here's how: Searching for & Installing Apps 1. From the Home screen, press left on the remote’s directional pad. 2. Navigate to and select Search. 3. Using the search bar, enter the content or app you’d like to find. 4. Navigate to and select the app you’d like to install, then select Install. Note: Previously installed apps can be accessed on the Settings screen. Adding & Managing Apps on Home Screen 1. Go to App Settings (these can be found at the bottom of the Apps screen) and select the app you want to move. The following options will be available: a. Add to Home: Move the app to your desired location on the Home screen. b. Delete: Delete app. c. Lock/Unlock: Lock the app with a PIN so only you can use it. Check TV-to-router distance – Your TV should be within 50 feet of the modem or access point for reliable signal strength. 2. Minimize interference – Turn off nearby wireless devices and make sure there are no physical barriers (stone walls, fireplaces, appliances) between the TV and router. Power Cycle Devices: 3. Restart both your TV and router – Unplug both devices for at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in and allow them to reboot fully. Connection Type: 4. Evaluate your connection method – o If using Wi-Fi, move your router closer to the TV and eliminate any obstructions. o For a more stable connection, we strongly recommend using a wired Ethernet cable. o If already using Ethernet, verify the cable is working by testing it with another device.
