Using the Jet Bot+ on a thick carpet may damage both the Jet Bot and the carpet. The Jet Bot cannot pass over a carpet with fiber longer than 2 cm. Since the brush sweeps dirt up from the floor during cleaning, foreign matter, such as a thin and long thread, long hair, etc., may get caught in it.
