  • What is Samsung Trade In?

    Samsung Trade In enables customers to exchange eligible devices for either an instant discount on a new qualifying Galaxy device or Samsung Credits, which can be used to purchase a wide range of products on Samsung.com. For detailed terms and conditions, please refer to the Samsung Trade In Programme guidelines.
  • If you’re purchasing a new Galaxy device with an instant discount, you can trade in phones, tablets, and wearables from various brands.

    If you’re choosing to receive Samsung Credits, only Galaxy devices are eligible for Trade In.
  • Yes, you can trade in the device you’re currently using. If you’ve purchased a new phone for an instant discount, you can keep your old device until you’ve received and transferred all your data to the new one.

    If you’ve chosen to receive Samsung Credits, simply pack your device in the shipping kit provided and send it within 14 days of receiving the packaging.
  • Yes. Although all devices are completely wiped of all personal data upon receipt, we still recommend performing a factory reset, to ensure your data is completely erased, for complete peace of mind. Personal data includes photos, contacts, apps, and any other sensitive information.
  • The Trade In value is based on the device’s model, condition, age and market demand. Samsung partner’s system evaluates these factors to provide an estimated value, which is confirmed after your device has been evaluated.
  • The Trade-In value is confirmed after your device has been received and inspected. You’ll receive a notification with the final value, which may differ from the estimated price given before sending the device.
  • To disable Find My Galaxy:
    1. Go to Settings on your device.
    2. Tap Biometrics and Security.
    3. Select Find My Mobile.
    4. Toggle off the switch to disable the service.
    5. Follow additional prompts to complete the process.
  • What happens if my device’s condition doesn’t match the initial assessment?

    If your device does not match the description you gave, the amount of Samsung Credits you are offered may be adjusted, and you will be emailed a new offer to accept or reject. If you reject the new offer, your device will be returned to you. If you don't respond within 7 days, it will constitute your acceptance of the updated offer.

    If you received an instant discount on a new Galaxy, and your device does not match the description you gave, your discount may need to be repaid, and your device may be remotely disabled.
  • No, once you’ve shipped your device, the process cannot be canceled. Please ensure you’re satisfied with the terms before shipping.
  • Can I get my device back?

    No, once you ship your device, it cannot be returned. Please ensure all personal data is removed before sending.
  1. To be eligible for trade in, your device must meet the following criteria:

    • Powers on and holds a charge without unexpected shutdowns.

    • No liquid damage or defects.

    • Reset to factory settings with all personal information and software locks removed. (Samsung account, Google account etc)

    Samsung Credits cannot be used to pay for subscriptions or third-party products through Samsung Marketplace

  2. If you receive an instant discount for new device but fail to return your old device, you will be required to repay the discounted amount in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

  3. Not all brands or models are accepted for trade in. The list of eligible devices may change based on the availability of Trade In partners and the age of the device.
