A1. You can still use Windows 10 after October 14, 2025, but you will no longer receive

  • Technical assistance
  • Software updates
  • Security fixes

※ When support ends, newly discovered security vulnerabilities cannot be patched, which may lead to security threats such as personal information leaks or ransomware infections due to exploitation of these vulnerabilities. Therefore, it's recommended to regularly back up important files and photos to a safe computer or external hard drive.

Q2. I heard that security will be weak when Windows 10 technical support is terminated, what should I do?

A2. New security vulnerabilities may occur because Windows 10 no longer supports security updates.
To minimise Windows 10 security issues, use the latest version of the updated vaccine programme.
It is also recommended to periodically back up important data (photos, documents, etc.) to other secure computers or storage devices.

Q3. If Microsoft terminates Windows 10 technical support, will all technical support such as update and genuine activation be terminated?

A3. Previously distributed updates can be installed with Windows Update and new updates may not be distributed from October 14, 2025.
Please contact Microsoft support for genuine activation errors.

Some products may be limited to upgrades based on Windows 11 minimum installation specifications.

Q6. I am using a product with Windows 10 installed, and even if I upgrade it, it will be upgraded to Windows 10 still. How do I upgrade Windows 11?
