Use Auto Program on Your TV
Over-the-air programming has come a long way - most local stations now broadcast in HD. And to make things even better, your TV has a tuner that can scan for and automatically program local channels that will appear on your channel list. Plus, an antenna will help your TV find even more channels and improve the quality of the signal.
This feature is only available on select smart TVs. Steps and options may vary based on the TV model.
Connect the TV to Cable or Antenna
Before you can auto program your TV, you have to connect an antenna or cable signal to your TV. Make sure you have the best antenna for your area or a cable line already installed. If you do, connecting will be easy.
Connect the coax cable to the ANT IN port on your One Connect Box or TV.
Scan for Channels
Using the Auto Program feature and scanning for the available channels on your TV only takes a few minutes.
Use the directional pad on the TV Remote to select Settings. Next, select Broadcasting, and then select Auto Program. Select Start to begin auto-programming, and then select either Both, Air, or Cable. Your TV will begin to scan for channels. After it's done, select Close to finish.
