Auto Open Door on Samsung refrigerators

Important

Doors only open correctly if the fridge is level

If the doors open too much or not enough, level the refrigerator. In general if the front of the fridge is lower, the doors will swing open more, and if the back of the fridge is lower, the doors will swing open less and also close more easily. If the right and left doors don't swing to equal degrees, it means the fridge is not level on one side compared to the other.

Ideally the fridge should be level front to back, but slight adjustments can be made to tweak door opening preferences.

Auto Door Open is not enabled by default:

Except on side by side models which do not have the option to turn this feature off, Auto Door Open is disabled by default and must be enabled to be used.
