i bought hw-a650 soundbar and swa-9100s and i was really excited to make them work together but four days in a row i do my best to make the rear speakers work and nothing happens. i read everything on the internet. i have the solid blue link. i have the hdmi cable and soundbar settings to surround. i have the rear speakers option on the soundbar turned on. i have the level of the rear speakers turned on plus six. i tried to reconnect the devices couple of times. no sound. they simply dont work and i am tired of ideas. really disappointed with the purchase. i'm a tech guy and this is not serious.

well i received these today to add to my new sound bar and our new samsung 50" smart tv. hooking up the tv was a breeze then the sound bar was a piece of cake. the wireless rear speakers well it took a little longer but they connected and i had a solid blue light. but mission control i have no sound. i went over everything and nothing. i have tried everything and still no sound. not a very happy camper right now.hopefully we can get this fixed and in all it is a totally nice system just need to get sound coming out of the rear speakers.

If the rear speakers are connected, showing a solid blue light, the lack of sound may be due to the sound mode of the soundbar. If you set the sound mode to SURROUND, GAME PRO, or ADAPTIVE, you will get surround sound effect from the rear speakers. Additionally, to take advantage of the added speakers and surround channels, the source should be from an Optical or HDMI connection. I hope these tips help resolve the issues you are experiencing. after a recent upgrade of sound system to the a650, i could hear what people were saying with out cranking it up. i decided to add the 9100s rear speakers to see if it made a difference and it really did. even opening theme music for a tv show is a whole different experience now. the sound is clear and all around me. sometimes i change the sound mode on the sound bar to find a better mix for the content i watch, but that only takes a few seconds. something i was watching last night had characters sliding past me on the left and right and i heard them go by. it was crazy. i loved it. when i first hooked up these speakers, very easy setup btw, i only had surround mode. i contacted samsung support and they walked me though a soundbar reset and all my options came back.

With the purchase of my new 85 inch Samsung micro LED Tv, I only had so much to spend on a atmos sound bar within my budget. This may not be the top of the line but comes close to it with less than 11 speakers but still great 5.1.2 seconds. I put the most money into the 85 inch tv and stepped back one or two levels in the sound bar but I did not sacrifice much in sound quality or features for the price I paid.

I am a huge fan of Samsung products, and own several Samsung TVs and soundbars. I have always been pleased with their respective performances until buying these speakers. I literally can't hear the sound coming from these speakers unless I put my ear a few inches from them. Yes, I have adjusted all of the settings and maxed them out and the sound is still extremely low. Unfortunately, I am replacing them and throwing them in the trash.

i bought this to pair with my q600a sound bar. these speakers do the job and make the sound bar top notch. you do need to adjust the sound level to +6. anything below that it's too quiet and quite useless. one thing i would improve is the sound volume. there needs to be a couple more levels above +6. that said, the surround speakers does what it's suppose to do: provide background and surround sound.

this surround system swa-9100s was recommended when i purchased a new tv and soundbar. the sound quality is nothing short of pathetic. being a fan of all things samsung only makes my disappointment that much deeper. i expect more from them. don't know if any of the other surround systems are any better, but at this point, it is doubtful i will ever purchase another sound system made by samsung

Hi Abraham, I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the initial out of box experience provided by the SWA-9100S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Please know, there are various settings you can adjust to improve your experience with the rear speakers. You can adjust the volume of the rear speakers by using the remote included with the connected soundbar. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range. Additionally, make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If you are using a format such as PCM, you may experience decreased volume to the rear speakers. Select Samsung Soundbars allow you to enable or disable Dynamic Range Control. You can try turning off DRC by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. I can't hear anything from the rear speakers. I believe this set is defective. I'm very disappointed with this purchase. This the second product I've purchased from them that doesn't meet the quality Samsung is known for. I will not purchase anything else from Samsung. What a waste of my hard earned money.

i had these set up and working perfectly in about 20 minutes, paired to a450 sound bar. as to their volume, use the settings (gear) button on your sound bar remote. push it repeatedly until you see rear level on the sound bar display, then up button to adjust. set mine to +6.
