This is such a small but powerful drive and it amazed me. It transfers data at high speeds no matter what you are storing on the drive. Be it music, photos or documents you will be more than happy with the speed of this drive. It can hold thousands of pictures and loads of music. The only thing I wish is that it had a light on it so you can see when it's working but that's a small feature. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a large capacity, fast flash drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple years ago and the flexibility of being able to use USB a or USB c makes for the perfect companion when transferring files from my phone to the computer or from my phone to a friend's phone. Nowadays a lot of flagship phones don't have the micro SD card slot and as sad as that may be the ability to still use expandable storage externally makes up for it. From taking photos and videos in the summer and transferring them out of my phone to save space to being able to upload those photos and videos quickly onto my computer this has never let me down. I've even recommended others to get this since it's no regular USB storage device. It's a leap in tech that we didn't know we wanted until it arrived!

I use it when I am mixing to save my files quickly. I use it when I need to transport large music files fast and this drive is doing a great job with that. I am often very hard on my drives as they go in my backpack or my pocket, on my lanyard or one of the many of situations I put it through. It has done very well with all and any circumstances of use. Anyone looking for a small and very effective flash drive this is a winner.

Also don't have to worry about it falling of my keychain because the loophole is built in and the body of this usb drive is one solid piece. Only thing is that it seems to get scratched easily, besides that it seems very durable and sleek. It's great for transferring data when I'm away from home and didn't carry anything to transfer data with. Just whip out my keychain and plug in and go. Great product overall.

The 128gb capacity was adequate for my needs. The design is nice and the metallic shell makes it feel durable. The eyelet for a key chain is nice. The read and write speeds are fine, but not great. The drive can also get hot to the touch under some prolonged use. I've had my drive for 2 years and it is still working for my use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And it is wonderful. This is well worth the price! It transfers files so fast... no waiting for it to transfer files over. The transfer speeds are listed as 300MB/s, but I suspect it was actually much faster. I did try transferring some files and I blinked and it was done! I wish everything transferred as fast. The casing is lovely and has a hefty, solid feel to it. The casing has a hole on the opposite end from the USB which would work not only as a key ring, as the specs say but may be stuck on a ball chain as a necklace. I like that it is waterproof and temperature proof, no more worries if you accidentally leave it in the car. Shockproof is also another nice feature, no worries about it breaking when it slips out of your hands. And 128 gigabytes of space is lots of room for videos, photos, files or programs. I would definitely recommend this flash drive.

It’s also quite a tough material so don’t worry about shoving it in your pocket.

I've had a 32gb flash drive that I've been carrying on my belt for the last 6-7 years and this thing has survived just about everything. welding shops and grinding metal, carpentry shops and sawdust, just getting slammed around as I bump into everything and this flash drive has only now stopped working. I never expected it to last as long as it did and now have a 128gb to replace it and go another 6-7 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a USB 3.1 flash drive from Samsung. The first thing I noticed when looking at the package was, wow this is tiny. The Flash drive is one of the smallest drives I've seen that contains 128GB. Just think about 128GB of data that can fit almost everywhere and able to access that data at just about SSD speeds. You can technically use this drive as a computer hard drive and boot from it, even install an operating system. The second thing I noticed when I received the package is the styling. It looks very premium, modern and solid. When transferring a large data file I noticed it copied over like this was an internal hard drive. Not all computers have USB 3.1 but it will work with 3.0 and 2.0 drives as well just not as fast. Overall I hope these flash drives get smaller, faster, larger, cheaper eventually you will be able to back up your entire existence into your pocket.

But I chock this up to the no DRAM and the fact there was just so many pictures. This doesn't happen with NVME but it is not really fair to compare those protocols. I reallyyyy wanna upgrade to a few 990 nvme drives in my pc though 😂

Its what my roommate would say, "Hefty" like its heavily good. Yes its got some weight to it but it should since its made of metal. It lets you know that it can handle hard drops hence the shockproof. Its also a plus knowing that it is waterproof although i don't recommend it but I have my days where i accidentally put it through the washer. As a wanna be IT guru I recommend this flash drive. With speeds up to 200mb meaning it transfers and reads files really fast. How fast? 3GB 4K UHD video file from your Bar Plus to your PC in just 10 seconds, that fast. What i also like about this flash drive is it's simple, sleek design. It feels and looks luxury but you pay a reasonable price for its functionality and everything else is a huge bonus. Honestly, why you still reading this buy this flash drive and you want regret in getting it.

I bought Samsung because I believe is the best but this Flash drive is not. Mine was faulty and too many others had the same problem. Now I am through the assistance process spending time, waiting and being so disappointed. The design of this flash drive is outstanding. Please fix it.

I know as I set-up my own home-thumbdrive(usb)speed test against 2 (other) well known media makers and I did so downloading a test-set # of files from my desktop (Windows 11) and then uploading the same test-set # of files back to windows file exployer. Using my recently received New Galaxy S25 Ultra 512Gb Unlocked from Samsung.com greatest online trade-in offer ever, using the stopwatch function from the Clock app my Samsung 128-Gb Flash or Thumb Drive.purchased online recently won out significantly in the download and upload tests against it's 2 toughest competitors. I couldn't have made a better purchase--apples to apples it was sale-priced and beat the same 2 competitors in the price tag test I performed in the store! Incidentally, I didn't cover this earlier but the other 2 competitors flash drives are also 128Gb in capacity and less than a month old--gifts from colleagues at my official retirement party at Atlas.
