Have been using for approx 6 months and overall happy with the monitor. Primary use as a work monitor but have utilized the entertainment functionality occasionally. For work - Size, picture and brightness are great, however the webcam cannot be angled lower due to the design which means you are framed weirdly in teams meetings. A let down as the quality is far better than the internal laptop cam. Apps like Netflix/prime video etc work as any other tv. The picture quality and brightness down blow you away (wouldn’t use it as primary display/tv) but as a mixed use display in an office has been a great improvement over standard monitor.
I recommended this product.

I purchased the M8 under advice its a smart monitor and would replace my laptop and old computer. I was not told it was just a fancy screen that connects to my laptop. All advertising looked like the M8 replaced the need for a computer and laptop and would be everything in one smart device. this was totally false advertising. Im really disappointed as i would not have purchased the screen with my outdated laptop. When i spoke to tech support and requested to speak to a manager i was told i couldnt. such poor service from an amazing company i have been loyal to for years. This is definatley turning me off Samsung products.

This is a fantastic screen! Great for small living spaces as it can be used as a TV (with a remote!) and can be used as a extra screen with your laptop, so great for work. The stand hides the cords, and it is very sleek. Love it ;-p

I have been using this monitor for about 2 to 3 months. Everything has been pretty decent. But there are a few things that I don't like about this monitor the first and biggest issue that I have is the adaptive picture mode. It is very unstable, the screen sometimes become really bright in dark conditions, and turns very yellowish in light conditions. This get annoying and disrupt my work flow. secondly, the speakers aren't that great thirdly, the mic for this monitor is terrible. Of course, most monitors probably don't even have a mic built in. But it still would be nice if they added a nicer mic. lastly, even though the adjustable stand is high quality, but the cable that connects to my mac mini is poorly designed. It is way too long and hits and stand, which makes it difficult to adjust the height.

The decision had been made by me to upgrade the home office and get an external computer monitor instead of just using the small screens from my current devices. The search began I had no idea what to look for and once you go down the path of monitor hunting you can be led away for a very long time before resurfacing. So what did I do? Yep go to social media see what was trending and what was the latest. Boom, I started to watch reviews about the brand new Samsung M8. There was something about the design and the features that I started to feel swayed towards purchasing this product. So I jumped online and was pleasantly surprised that the most competitive pricing for me was via Samsung themselves. I was able to secure education pricing as a teacher and also an extra $50 off as a first time online order. It took about a week to arrive and was very simple to set up. I just love how it has all the apps that I can use for streaming and the remote control is a great device to switch across from app to screen. Having never used an external monitor before the 32” inch size I feel spoilt for screen landscape now and I don’t think I could go back to the smaller screens. Anyone that is searching for a new monitor and don’t want go down that labyrinth of a monitor hunt. Than I would totally recommend the Samsung 32” M8 Smart Monitor as a very smart decision.

I am a doctor and use photos in my work a great deal. I was thinking I would need to get a 5K display to get the definition and clarity I needed on a monitor this size but after reading lots of reviews and trialling in store I decided to take a chance with this monitor to use as a second display for my laptop. The colours did require some tweaking to get the accurate skin tone I needed without over saturating but it was quick and simple to do and now I am extremely happy. I have saved so much for such a satisfying outcome. My tip - for the best definition connect your laptop using the USB C cord and set it up as a 'PC' rather than connecting via Bluetooth. The ability to stream without a computer connected is nice too.

The idea behind this monitor is awesome and that was the reason why I have got this monitor for myself. I am a designer and photographer by professional and knowing Samsung by the great reputation in monitors I have got this to be able to see if can satisfy my media and professional needs. Media needs are met 100% but quality of colours, contrast and sharpness to use it as for producing graphics is not there yet but it is showing that maybe in near future the next model will be covering this side as well as media.

Great monitor! I use it for design work and like the brightness and vibrancy of colours. The design of it is quite sleek and attractive (I bought it in white). I also like being able to login to streaming services and watch TV using the remote. The only con is that the colour vibrancy changes if looking up or down at the monitor - you'll see colours accurately when looking at it straight on. It took me a while to realise this when I was setting it up and thought the calibration was off!

Good value for money. Slim design and smart TV built in is a big plus. However, the built & image quality when compare to a iMac or Studio monitor and you quickly realise you get what you paid for. This is not a monitor for professional editing if you're thinking buying it for. It feels plastic and flimsy. But the upside is its light. Overall, good monitor for everyday use. I hope future release can improve on image quality.

I’ve had this for a couple of months. It’s a fantastic monitor. I use it with both MacBook and Windows laptops and I can swap laptops without any fuss. The resolution is excellent, which really helps when spending a lot of time in front of a monitor. It is easy to adjust height of screen and it looks great in my office. I’m really happy I purchased this monitor.

I just bought the M8 and I’ve had it for a few days and when I say if your considering it but it, I mean it! It’s so aesthetically pleasing considering it’s white, slim yet big 4K etc. the best part is the fact that I’ve ditched my 86” TV and am now using my monitor to not only operate my Mac Mini on but also to watch Netflix, Stan etc. must have!

I have had this for a few months now and it's great. I connect my laptop to it and use the workspace function to use it. I love the entertainment function where I can watch all my TV subscriptions and also use the Samsung TV app to stream channels. It's such a great monitor. It is well designed and build. Feels very luxurious.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago. As a work from home monitor its great. Perfect size, great display. Haven't used the smart features really but inital testing was good although every time I switched to smart features it played the EPL :). Wireless windows connection had too much lag to use so went with USB connection

This is a great monitor with own speaker and 2 HDMI entries for multiple laptop connections. I can now connect my work laptop to the monitor and to have extra connection to connect also a private laptop to it. It also has Samsung network TV so I can watch it after working from home !

The monitor is an all-rounder great for all tasks. It has a great interface whether carrying out work related tasks or watching YouTube. The only criticism I'd share is the limited wireless capacity when running multiple tasks. Otherwise a great looking addition to my desk.

Bought this to go with my new MacMini M2 as Apple’s displays were too expensive. Went with a wired mouse to overcome some tracking jerkiness. Love the big screen and the ability to watch streamed services. Two taps on my keyboard wakes up the Mac and the screen. Easy.

I have had this monitor for 3 months now, it performs well, its brightness is outstanding and the camera and microphone also work well (only through usb c computer connection though) which brings me to a few points that need to be addressed. 1. the camera and microphone will not work unless you have your computer connected to usb-c. Initially I thought that the second USB-C port could be used to connect to my desktop as a pass through for the Web cam and microphone. not the case and there is nothing clear on the product page that states this. 2. using the built in teams function is extremely slow. Usual time to start up is about 5 minutes. way too long for an application to open 3. the sound is garbage. very tinny and not recommended for anything other than a meeting or facilitation. 4. the usb-c connection will not work when plugged into a dock. Im not sure why this is an issue but plugging the monitor into a Dell dock just will not work. 5. When using the USB-C connection to my laptop it will fail to recognise 4k 60 and only produce 4k30. the only thing that solves this for me is resetting the monitor entirely. this will then usually fix the problem for the session my laptop is connected. if you can look past the fact this monitor will not work with a docking situation/if you do not own a desktop then this monitor may be for you. just keep in mind 4k 30 is very juddery and causes eye strain on even the most menial tasks .
