Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well laid out, easy access. I've had my A8 for a year now. Love the ease which you can lay out your home screen and good voice control access also. Downside, not enough memory on hard drive but can put a big SD card in and load through this leaving hard drive unclogged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only just not a 5 star This phone works. It just kind of does. The camera's beautiful, the settings are mostly easy to navigate, very few settings invalidate others, the power saving mode actually saves a lot of power and you can customize what the power saving mode turns off etc. So why not 5 stars? It's not that it's fragile, because it isn't in any way. I've dropped this thing on concrete face down many times on the way home from work or showing a friend a Reddit post and I'm yet to find a mark on it. It isn't even that it's slow, because the only thing drawing it back speed-wise is that its native resolution is true HD and it still runs games and opens apps as quickly as I could hope for. The reason I can't give this 5 stars is because they messed up something as simple as changing wallpapers. That is NOT to say that you can't change wallpapers or lock screens though, it's only to say they made it difficult. I can't even remember how to change wallpapers after I spent at least 15 minutes sitting down and struggling with it. Apart from that it works perfectly and I'm very happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not particularly impressive This is the most expensive phone I've bought (low end user obviously) but it's not the best. The dictionary and swipe keyboard performance is terrible. And the shortcut features I've enjoyed on other phones are not really available. It also occasionally muted me when I'm in calls....I haven't yet figured out what is doing that. It's probably 50% user error however it shouldn't be so hard.
