Galaxy S24 | S24+

My favourite colour is yellow and I loved how the "Amber Yellow" looked in the photos, but upon unboxing I thought they'd sent me a white/cream version by accident! It only looks yellowish in certain lights. Functionality is fine and the battery life so far is definitely an upgrade from my old S9! But I miss the colour-coded notification light that my S9 had, which allowed me to see at a glance which app had triggered it. I'm also having trouble getting custom notification sounds to work for apps such as Whatsapp and Discord, so I'm hearing a lot of the same generic tone, which is frustrating.

Everything transferred over seamlessly from my old S22 phone. Didn't need to learn a whole new system, all the old commands worked, just seamed a bit more intuitive. I normally put off getting the new phone out of the box but this has been a delight swap over to. Would have liked to have seen the old "gentle wakeup" feature returned. This was one of my favorite features of my first Samsung phone many years/models ago. Hopefully next time they'll bring back this feature. Gentle Wakeup played soft sounds several minutes before actual alarm like waves or wind in the forest or babbling brook

A bit over 12 months ago I purchased a Samsung A52 5g phone. Larger than my previous Samsung but I thought I would adapt. Don't get me wrong, the A52 is a very good phone but I just couldn't adapt to the size, a bit big for my pocket so inevitably it got left behind. I made the decision to purchase a new phone and settled on the S24. For me, great features that I have come to expect, to be honest I was always going to select a Samsung, their transfer feature makes it so easy. Very happy so far, it does a lot more that I will ever need it to do but that is better than falling short.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy phones for the last 12 years. I bought my Galaxy S24 18 months ago and was very happy with it until the latest software update (UI 8.0) a few weeks ago. One of the most important things I use my phone for is to record hikes on a navigation app (mainly Backcountry Navigator PRO and Strava). This relies on having a reliable GPS location at all times. Unfortunately since I installed UI 8.0 the GPS works for awhile but then suddenly drops out. It is not obvious this has happened and I can no longer be sure that I'm at the location that the map in my app indicates. This is potentially dangerous, especially when walking in areas where there are no tracks. Several of my hiking companions who have Samsung phones have had the same issue. We are hoping that this will be fixed soon in a another update.

I recently got the Samsung Galaxy S24, and I’m absolutely loving it! The screen is super bright and clear, making everything from photos to videos look amazing. The camera is fantastic, even in low light, which is great for capturing those spontaneous moments. It's super fast, and I haven't noticed any lag, even with a bunch of apps open. The battery easily lasts all day, which is a huge plus. Plus, it's got a sleek design that feels great in my hand. Overall, I'm really happy with my Galaxy S24 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new phone!

I got this as a replacement for my Samsung A52 and overall I'm happy. The A series has been my type of phone for the last 5 years but I wanted to treat myself to a camera upgrade. I'm pretty happy with the camera despite the drawback of not having macro mode anymore and taking three seconds to take a photo. You are able to change the settings but as someone who is constantly shaking I was getting blurry photos initially. It is a learning curve but the camera thrives in natural sunlight. This phone is significantly smaller then the A55 and for me that is a big selling point. Overall I enjoy this device however I would not buy it at the $1400 selling price, I bought it for $900 with a trade in and I am happy with that price.

Disappointing, Battery life is terrible, Colours are dull, phone runs Hot AF, been with samsung S series for 12+ years, never been this disappointed, literal downgrade.

Loving my new S24 in Sapphire Blue. It's the perfect size and feels really high quality to handle. Battery life has been impressive. Camera performed fantastically at a dark show the other night too. Moving data from my old s20 was easy, I liked that I could only move the data I wanted (without just copying everything) and still go through a setup as new. I was hesitant to stick with android after so many years because I wanted a bit of a change.... but going from the s20 to the s24 still feels like an awesome upgrade. No regrets! Loving it.

The Samsung s24 is a great phone, however I wish it would come with more than just 256gb memory and just 8gb ram. I would like to see min 512gb and 12-16gb ram. I would also appreciate a form with rounded edges like the S7 as it is much nicer to hold in your hands, it doesn't slip or cut into your hands when holding it. So, the form factor of the S7 I have I still prefer over the s24. Great that there will be a software support for 7 years. Overall I would like to see a more customizable phone which can outlast the 7 years with ease... :)

I've had many phones, S22, Ultras, iPhones and I'd have to say this phone has been the fastest, easiest to use with 1 hand and the battery life is far better than predecessors, infact I ran a comparison of AI features alongside a Pixel and it blew it out the park, the design is clean that feels like premium material. I have 2 Quarrels, the black isn't really black, has a purple tinge to it, and the new hidden navigation bar with gestures, the back button is no longer bottom right, instead it's swipe in from left or right, yea... I don't like that because of the margin for error with false touch and your natural hand positions holding the phone also with swiping to clear notifications, it's actually pretty annoying. You can fix it with an update :)

I recently decided to try a Google pixel instead of my trusty Samsung Galaxy. That was a stupid idea. I had nothing but connectivity issues with blood glucose monitors, my car and my TV as well as constantly freezing on me. Luckily I could replace it and I went back to the Galaxy because I have never had issues with it before. It connects to everything with no issues, runs smoothly, doesn't freeze on me and is just the most reliable easy to use phone. Have learnt my lesson and will never be deviating from the Galaxy again!

I Bought the phone at the start of 2024, and in the past few weeks the phone has started to glitch when switching between tabs or scrolling through videos. I know that it's not storage issues or old updates the phone automatically updates whenever possible and seems to be something deeper. I've had samsung phones my whole life and was pretty excited to get a pre release s24 however with the glitches and sometimes turning off om its own and in need of a restart going to look towards a different samsuang or google pixel.

I bought this phone a couple of weeks ago and it has great features, only thing I am disappointed about it does not have a headphone jack, I was told you have to buy a special attachment! My last Galaxy was a super phone and was one of the first Galaxy out and it had a plug in headphone jack!

I recently upgraded from a Samsung S9 to the new Samsung S24 and absolutely love it. A Samsung person through and through, I was really clinging to every bit of my S9 as I loved it. Upgrading, and being very reluctant to, I was impressed with the changeover process and how everything is still as easy, if not easier, than it previously was. The phone itself is ultra quick, the camera is unreal and I love everything about it. I'm hoping I get as much out of this phone as i did with my old S9. Thanks Samsung!!!

I recently got the Galaxy S24 256GB and have been incredibly impressed! The phone’s performance is top-notch, with a smooth and responsive interface. The camera quality is outstanding, producing sharp and vibrant photos even in low light. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting a full day with heavy use. The storage capacity of 256GB is perfect for all my apps, photos, and videos without worrying about running out of space. Overall, this phone has exceeded my expectations in every way.

I love everything about the S24 except one major area, The Camera. Since day one and even after the apparent software fix the camera on my S24 is a let down, especially at night and in indoor situations. Samsung have told me that I had to change some settings which i did but it didnt fix the issue. It isnt even a low light issue as when i take photos outside in the late afternoon i can get beautiful shots. Seems to be a major issue when taking photos of people in lower light situations.

I bought this a week ago when my S21 started to have sim card issues. Everything is much better with the S24, but the real bonus was that it came with the Galaxy 6 Watch, something I have been eyeing off for a long time. These two devices sync really well with each other, but adding a pair of Galaxy Buds would bring it all together very well. As for the phone, nice and light, incredible camera (50mp) and all the other standard Samsung features make this a great choice I'm glad I made!

I have had this phone a week now and absolutely loving it. I upgraded from an A52s 5G. The body of the phone is comfortable and the screen reactivity is high quality. The camera has provided fantastic photos so far, however I have not been able to test it anywhere interesting yet. I find that the size of the base model is perfect for me and do not regret opting for the base rather than the ultra. I also got the online limited colour of jade green which is a lovely touch.

Bought this last week and was concerned about the maount of time it takes to set everythign up as per previous phone setting, data, files and apps. Yes, most Apps i have to log in again, but the exercise was simple with teh SWITCH app. Great intuitive app, no experience needed. Features of the new phone are great. it also separates business apps and email with personal emails. This is a great feature and allows you to let your organisation monitor only what they need to. Saves you to carry around a second phone. I love the new phone, design is high quality, the shape and haptic is great. I bought a cost effective screensaver and silcone case and still looks fantastic. So far great experience. let's see how loing this one lasts. My S10 lasted easilt 3.5 years, and i couldve used it longer.

I have we had the phone for about 3 weeks , love the smaller size of the standard s24, fits in pocket easy . Still learning about all the features , but so far so good

Amazing phone to use everyday First impressions of the phone when unboxing, it feels like a quality product with a decent weight and feel without seeming to be too heavy. As soon as you turn it on it's clear that the screen on this is great. Having used it for more than a week now, the quality of the screen makes a huge difference when using this phone and is better than any other I've used so far. Inside or outside there's never any issue of being able to see the screen clearly.

This is my first Samsung S series phone. I've always had Samsung A series phones prior to this. I've always been happy with the S series, but I wanted to move to the S series and upgrade my camera. The S24 camera is awesome! Great focus near or far. The night option works really well too. The extra speed and memory have been an unexpected bonus for me. All wrapped up in an elegant sleek design. Sturdy but light. I'm very pleased with my new Samsung. I'm definitely a Samsung gal.

Bought the phone and wasn't quite what I was looking for has p updated wait to get it out my hands not a bad phone just wasn't quite what I was looking for

I have had this phone for a few months now and it is great. I love that Samsung has been investing in improving the Android support experience and ensuring the device remains patched and secured for several years past purchase. It provides additional comfort knowing I can use this as a secure devicenfor accessing sensitive data. Battery life is pretty good and the screen is responsive. The camera system works very well. I also appreciate the smaller phone in my pocket.

I have a mobile that is still under warranty, there has been a number of issues with it and I have tried to resolve these with support. This has not been successful so I have been told I have to take it in to a store to be reviewed and leave it there. This is a totally unacceptable situation as I travel and my work requires me to be contactable at all times. This is not a cheap device and my expectation is that there is a loan device available while mine is being repaired.
