Turn on your Samsung Smart Monitor with a Phone

Did you know you can switch your Smart Monitor on and off using your phone? Simply ensure that you have setup the SmartThings app on your phone with your Smart Monitor or follow our guide to Connect SmartThings to the Smart Monitor. Then, follow the steps below to turn on/off your Smart Monitor using your phone.

1 Click House icon Home on your Samsung remote
Home button on TV remote
2 Navigate to and select Gear cog Settings on your monitor.
Select Settings
3 Click on General icon General then Network
Select General then Network
4 Choose Expert Settings
Choose Expert Settings
5 Ensure Power on with Mobile is switched on
Ensure Power on with Mobile is switched on
6 On your phone, open the SmartThings icon SmartThings app

Please Note: Ensure you have connected your Smart Monitor to the SmartThings app and that both your phone and monitor are connected to the same Wi-Fi network 

Open the SmartThings app on your phone
7 Once the app is open, you can tap the switch icon icon to switch your Smart Monitor on/off
