Connect SmartThings to the Smart Monitor

Use the SmartThings App on your smartphone to easily control your Smart Monitor. Once connected, you will be able to turn your Monitor on & off, switch between channels, adjust the volume or even launch applications directly from your Phone. Follow the below guide to learn how to successfully connect your Smart Monitor to your Phone via the SmartThings App.

Prior to following the below guide ensure that you have installed the SmartThings App to your compatible smartphone and your Samsung Monitor is connected to a strong internet connection.

NOTE: The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. Data fees may apply.

Step 1. Launch the SmartThings app icon SmartThings App.

Step 2. Tap on Plus icon to add a new device.

Step 3. Select 'Device'.

Step 4. Tap on 'Scan Nearby'.

Step 5. 'Select [Monitor] Samsung M7 (32)'.

Step 6. Tap on 'Start'.

Step 7: Choose your 'Location' and 'Room' then tap on 'Next'.

Step 8: A code will then appear on the top right on the Monitor screen.

Step 9. Input the code into your phone then tap on 'Done'.

Step 10. Once successfully connected select 'Done'.

Step 11. When you would like to control your Smart Monitor from your mobile device simply select the chosen location then tap on the '[Monitor] Samsung M7 (32)' widget.
