Adding a Second Language to my Samsung Keyboard

Need help adding a secondary language to your keyboard or prehaps t too sure how to switch between languages once you've activated your keyboard? Follow the below guide for step-by-step instructions.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. 

You can add multiple languages to your keyboard and seamlessly switch between them and your default language. If you add a secondary language this WILL NOT change the language and input throughout the phone. 

1 Launch your Settings > General Management
Head into your Settings > Ganeral Management
2 Select Language and input

3 Tap on On-screen keyboard

4 Select Samsung Keyboard
Tap on Samsung Keyboard
5 Select Languages and types

6 Tap on Manage input languages
Tap on Manage input languages
7 Toggle on your secondary language

8 Head back to Languages and types then select Language switching method

9 Choose your preferred Language switching method, then press the back key to apply changes

10 If you have chosen Language key and space bar swipe or Language key you can switch languages by selecting globe icon located on your keyboard

If you have chosen Language key and space bar swipe or Space bar swipe you can switch between languages by swiping across the space bar.
