Customise Call Background on my Galaxy Phone

Select a picture or video in your Gallery to show when you make a call on your Galaxy device operating on Android OS Version 11.0 (R). Follow the below guide to learn how to customise your Call Backgound on your Galaxy Phone.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. This setting is only available on Galaxy devices operating on OS 11 and above.

1 Launch the Phone app

2 Tap on

3 Select Settings

4 Tap on Call Background

5 Select Layout

6 Choose your preferred Call background layout then press the back button to Apply changes

7 Tap on Background

8 Tap on to add a new Call background

Select a Photo or Video to set as your Call background

9 Select the Photo or Video you would like to use as your Call background

If you would like to use a Video as your Call background, ensure that the clip is a maximum of 15 seconds.

10 Once you are happy with the background select Set as call background

11 When the Call Background has been applied, you will be able to view your chosen Photo or Video when receiving a call
