How do I restore my data from Samsung Cloud?

If you're trying to restore your data from Samsung Cloud to a Samsung device, see the steps below on how to restore your information through the device settings. This is the best way to restore all of your information if you have recently Factory Reset your Samsung device. If you have lost a couple of photos in your Gallery that you want to restore from the Cloud see the page on How to restore from the Samsung Cloud Recycle Bin. If you have lost any contacts, you can check to see if the contacts have backed up to your Google account.

Please note, not all data in Samsung Cloud will be available to download from Samsung Cloud Drive, but photos and documents shared through Samsung Cloud Drive will be available under your Samsung Account credentials.

Restore Samsung Cloud Data to a Samsung Device:

1 Go into the Settings menu > Cloud and accounts.
Settings > Cloud and accounts
2 Tap on Samsung Cloud.
Tap on Samsung Cloud
3 Tap on Restore.
Tap on Restore
4 Select the device and backup files you wish to restore. If you only have one device it will automatically be displayed.
Select the backup file you wish to use
5 Tap on Restore Now.
Tap on Restore now
6 You will receive a prompt if you would like to install the apps that were backed up if they don't exist on your new device already. Tap Install if you would like to install the apps.
Install apps? or Don't install
7 Restoration has been completed.
Restoration has been completed.
