How do I remove an existing Google Account on my Samsung device?

Have multiple Google accounts signed into your Galaxy phone and want to remove them? Follow the drop down menus below to learn how to successfully signout of your Google account on your Samsung device.

Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie)
1 Head into your Settings > Accounts and backup
Head into your Settings and select Accounts and backup
2 Select Accounts
Select Accounts
3 Tap on your Google Account
Tap on your Google account
4 You will then need to select and reconfirm your action by tapping on Remove Account
Tap on Remove Account
Android OS Version 10.0 (Q)
1 Head into your Settings > Accounts and backup
Head into your Settings and select Accounts and backup
2 Select Accounts
Select Accounts
3 Tap on your Google Account
Tap on your Google account
4 You will then need to select and reconfirm your action by tapping on Remove Account
Tap on Remove Account
Android OS Version 11.0 (R)
1 Head into your Settings > Accounts and backup
Select Accounts and backup
2 Select Manage Accounts
Select Manage Accounts
3 Tap on the Google Account you would like to remove
Tap on your Google account
4 You will then need to select and reconfirm your action by tapping on Remove Account
