Using Live Transcribe on my Galaxy phone

Live Transcript captures speech from the phone’s microphone and displays it as text. Follow the below guide to learn how to setup and use the Live Transcribe setting. Google processes your conversations but never stores them.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to reach out to your Samsung subsidiary. This setting is currently only available on the Galaxy devices operating on Android OS Version 10 (Q) and above.

Enabling Live Transcribe

1 Head into your Settings > Accessbility
Head into Settings and select Accessibility
2 Tap on Hearing enhacements
Tap on Hearing enhancements
3 Select Live Transcribe
Select Live Transcribe
4 Toggle on Live Transcribe
Toggle on Live Transcribe
5 Read through the pop up message then tap on Allow

6 Tap on Got it

Using Live Transcribe
1 When you're ready to start transcribing tap on Live Transcribe icon located in your Navigation bar
Tap on Live Transcribe option in Navigation bar
2 Allow the pop-up permissions
Tap on Allow to start recording the audio
3 Speak clearly into the microphone to start transcribing

Adjusting Live Transcribe Settings
1 To access your Live Transcribe settings, tap on Live Transcribe icon
Tap on Live Transcribe option in Navigation bar
2 To access your Live Transcribe settings, tap on Settings icon
Select Settings
3 Adjust the Live Transcribe settings to suit your preference
