Tap Sound automatically connects your phone to the wireless audio device via Bluetooth. This is a feature included with the Samsung Music Frame, where you can just tap your mobile device to connect and play audio straight  from your mobile device. It's faster and more convenient with no need to access a Wi-Fi network or data to share a fun experience in your daily life.

Find out how to activate it with the instructions below.

Set up Tap Sound

In order to use Tap Sound, you need to turn on the Tap Sound feature in the SmartThings app on your phone:

  • This function is only compatible with Samsung mobile devices with Android 8.1 or later.
  • To use this function, update the SmartThings app to the latest version.

Caution: Make sure to tap gently

To avoid damage the device accidentally, you need to tap gently. Tapping your device on the corner of the Music Frame directly can cause serious damage to the phone or Music Frame. You can add a protective case to your phone for extra security if needed. For best results, you should tap the back of your phone against the top or side of your Music Frame.
