I bought this monitor as part of my work tools for my office at home. I have been using this monitor more than a year and my experience has been excellent. No complaints. Images are very crisp, when watching videos the transitions are very smooth, the brightness is amazing (it's very evident to me since my office is located in a very very bright room - natural light -), and vibrant colours. Overall, my experience has been fantastic and the only recommendation to Samsung is to add more customization options because currently its very limited. I love the design too, thin bazels and minimalistic.

The curve of the screen does indeed help me reduce eye strain and I like that it has a night mode to reduce blue light. The control setup is easy to use and it supports automatically turning on and off with my computer. With an adapter it also works great with my phone or my galaxy tablet for using Samsung Dex with a keyboard and mouse. Left my bag at work and only have my phone? No problem, plug that into the monitor and I can do schedules and invoices like it's nothing

For everyday tasks, work, writing, etc. It would be a nice to have. However, I do not highly recommend it for gaming. Unless you play casually. Some things I personally like about this monitor, is the eye protection mode. And how you can change it's resolution and many other things related to it. My final review on this monitor it would be a 6.5/10, a little above average in the monitor world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor with my Playstation 5, and it is well in it's performance, I upgraded from a 45 in flat smartscreen to this monitor, and seen major improvements on games all throughout. Using services like Netflix and paramount+ are of quality viewing. Easy menu control and even tho it doesn't have built in speakers I am comfortable with using a ozone speaker I've wired to the monitor. I can't wait to get an upgrade from this monitor with the ps5 pro geting ready to release here. Over all 10/10 budget 8/10 experience.

I bought this monitor after an incident with cats knocking over and destroying my other monitors. Right away I loved the colour, clarity and noticeable less strain on my eyes after a long work day. It has taken 2 tumbles from the desk due to furry demons, and not only does it still work, but not a scratch on it. I have now replaced my other monitors with this one. Definitely holding up with my experience with other Samsung products being durable. My one regret is not going with it sooner.

Overall, the display is adequate for most office jobs especially sheets and docs, and the curved style makes all contents focused and contributes less light reflection. Colors are fairly adjusted to the entry-level. Basically, this is a decent budget large monitor for basic work and video experience. Simply by plugging in the cable and enjoy it.

great monitor until it randomly stops working. monitor was on and working yesterday and then i barely touched the display and the screen went black. no longer receiving power. rewired, checked the outlets...nothing is wrong except the monitor being unable to turn on. worst money i've ever spent. this isn't the first time either. do better, samsung.

I had purchased this building a new PC and I was amazed that despite their free shipping saying it would take a week, it arrived after a single day in excellent quality from FedEx. Much of this monitor is more impressive but leaves some to be desired. Setting up the stand is easy enough, though doesn't snap into place very reassuringly. Powering on is simple from the power button/joystick it back. The design of the menu, toggling it to the features, is a bit clunky with the joystick design of it. While more intuitive than up and down buttons, it's not much better and often pops you back out. Screen quality is excellent and arrived with no flaws. It also has a sleek impressive design. The only big downside I've had is that there is no DisplayPort, and it only came with a 3 ft HDMI cable (and the power cable). If you plan to hooking this up with multiple monitors, needing that longer DisplayPort to HDMI lcable or converter might be a consideration for you.

Switch from an LG 24" flat screen (2yrs old) to Samsung 27" Curved and it's night and day. Going from 1000:1 to 3000:1 just makes your pixels so crisp. Great quality in product so far and easy plug & play. On the plus side: Dynamic mode, Gamer mode and Eyes saver + ultra thin sides.......totally recommend so far!!!

I found two bad pixels on the monitor right after 30 days which means, I can't return it back and had to send it for repair. It has been 15 days without a monitor now and its super frustrating. Maybe I should have bought a different monitor. My experience with the product was bad and with Support was worse.

bought this as an upgrade to my old 19" samsung from years ago. monitor looks great, good minimalist design, and love the curvature. of course if you're looking for 4k this isn't the monitor for you, but for a standard monitor it's great, no issues and better/newer design compared to the cf398.

A new CR500 has (1) one cluster of bad pixels (2 pixels in one cluster), (2) one bad pixel elsewhere and (3) yet one more bad pixel elsewhere. In comparison, I have similar monitors from other manufacturers, similar price, with no bad pixels.

I bought this last year around November end and I must say this is one my best investment from samsung brand. Best resolution and a must have monitor for professional to be used a second monitor
