This monitor is nothing short of absolutly perfect in my opinion and I have been gaming on just about every single monitor known to man....ok...there may be 1 or 2 I haven't feasted my eyes upon but hey that should tell you how perfect this thing is... and not just for gaming...the movie experience is just as good...its hard to believe how far they have come...its almost like your in another demension.... Can't say about picture quality. Other then the start up screen I have yet to get my computer connected. No where on the box did it state the contents of the box. I scanned the QR code and got an ad for how ecology friendly our box is, oddly the interior packing was Styrofoam. The box does say "HDMI" on one side. A HDMI monitor was what I wanted. Opened up the box to set up the monitor and found a "Display Port" cable, not HDMI cable. Now I have to go back to the store to get a HDMI cable. Quick Setup Guide is so universally generic, though multi-lingual, that it is not very informative. I couldn't make sense of a lot of the thumbnail sketches with the do not do this "X" in them.

Although FHD doesn’t look the best on such a large screen up close, if you have a large desk and it’s set up far away, it’s probably okay. On that note, it’s great for movies/TV (on cinema mode). No dead pixels. HDMI and power ports work fine. It does, however, take a long time to turn on again after your laptop falls asleep, and the blue LED light is distracting no matter if it’s set for “stand-by” or “on”. If you’re okay with FHD on a big screen and are using this monitor for videos or gaming, I would recommend this product. If you want a monitor for productivity, I would recommend a smaller size, because eye strain is a concern, especially if you are very close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor was looked great when it arrived. 32inch curved monitor worked well for our son for an year. He was using it for gaming and was happy. But after an year for no reason while using it, it developed a crack, inside the monitor, not on the surface. All that we could see was that there was no display from top to bottom of the screen, roughly the shape of ribbon. Rest of the monitor was fine. So it looks the display electronics got burnt. Otherwise, it was good. I wish Smasung replaced it, but the damage happened after one year of purchase.

They really do offer the best technology advancements, clarity, refresh rate all for a price that won't break the bank. Now they do have crazy expensive and top of the line monitors, this particular model fit my need as I have 2 of them side to side in my home office. Works great for PC gaming, trading and the day to day multi tasking. I honestly recommend. I have has Samsung monitors for years and never an issue. Quality assurance is always top notch at Samsung.

got this for my birthday and couldn't be happier with it. but recently as of typing this there's a new, higher resolution option and I don't know why but now whenever I'm in a game, my display changes from the normal LS24AG32x to SAM71DA. Nvidia control panel shows that it is a 1920x1080p monitor but all my games and even windows have an option to make the res 3840x2160p. not sure if this is intentional or if im having a unique issue.

Stupidly I failed to see it only has 1920 x 1080 resolution. But the super annoying thing is that some options in the settings menu can not be chosen. Like the option to turn off the annoying blinking power light when the monitor is in standby. Why have an option in the menu if we cant use it?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this monitor about 2 years go with intent to upgrade but with using it this long there was no need to upgrade, for a 1080p and 164Hz it’s all you need now a days, would buy another one if they where still made. Going to upgrade later down the road to a newer one maybe 1440p

I got this almost a week ago and it's a pretty decent monitor! I hooked it up to my Playstation 5, And the resolution is incredible! Along with the 165Hz, my game was running really smooth! If anyone you know is trying to get a monitor I would recommend getting this one.
I recommended this product.

Don’t expect Samsung tv quality in these monitors because you are not paying as much for these. It does what it says it will. For the price and size it offers, it was a good deal for me.
