The overall space is perfect sized, the compartments are perfectly placed and the features are endless. I absolutely love the temperature readings, the built in ice maker makes perfectly shaped lunar ice cubes. The best feature is the refillable pitcher on the door, it refills by itself and chills the water at the same time. The first it refilled I was shocked to hear and see how quickly it did it. The bottom freezer is very spacious and has 3 compartments. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. The technicians who installed where very professional and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this a few months ago and had to return it because when they installed the handles they scratched the finish, they replaced the whole fridge without any resistance but the new one is doing the same you almost need to wear gloves to handle this fridge. Really disappointed about this black finish. Its only my husband and I here and the handles and some other parts of the fridge around the handles are all scratched again. I purchased the whole kitchen with Samsung but the fridge is a waste. Don't buy it and if you have children forget it all together. I did not bother to contact them again but i will never go to Samsung for my future or all my family future buy.

I was wrong! Within a few days our fridge was delivered to our new home. It was such a relief. As for the fridge itself I love this style with the double doors up top (it allows me to keep all my food visible at eye level) and the freezer down at the bottomnis spacious to hold our protein, icecream, etc! I’m an absolute fan of the sleek look with the water dispenser on the inside. Anyone who comes over has something nice to say about our fridge. So far so good.

I have also found the split shelves helpful in maximizing space, especially after the holidays. Being able to adjust half of a shelf instead of moving an entire shelf a level up or down let us store and utilize our space efficiently. I also very much the enjoy the water pitcher feature which automatically refills. I like to add lemon the water pitcher so I have ice cold lemon water in the morning, and I can't wait to try cucumber slices in there as well. This fridge is a 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend this fridge for families.

The auto-fill water pitcher was also a selling point for me as the exterior is clean and simple without the dispenser that can get dirty over time. The added bonus of cold water if you want it is great. Happy with my purchase so far, even though I had to exchange the fridge as the first one I received had a auto-fill pitcher defect. Very Useful features and very rapid cooling made setting up the fridge simple, and waiting for it to get to temperature took way less than 24hrs though I surmise that it’s best to let everything settle down for over 24 hours before stocking your perishables.

The French-door, freezer on the bottom, means that I can finally see and find everything that is in the refrigerator. The great interior lighting helps too. (I used to drive my wife crazy, asking her, "where is this and where is that?".) Food seems to stay fresher as well. Since we are usually just two at home, it used to be a challenge to eat all the salad greens before they went bad. Not anymore. The water pitcher is great, too. It takes up very little room on the door shelf, and it is just about silent when it refills.

The inside is very bright and the built in pitcher has to be my favorite feature! The child lock buttons are so good that even I forget how to unlock it. The bottom freezer had a top sliding compartment and that’s where I like to store my frozen fruits. In the regular bottom freezer it has a divider which can’t adjust but regardless I like that since I can put my frozen meats on one side and the kids ready to eat snacks on one side. I also love that it’s counter depth and doesn’t stick out much. The warranty on this fridge sounds good and hopefully I never have to use it but it’s great that it’s included.

Operation-wise, this refrigerator is working very well for us. However, I am quite disappointed by several dents in the fingerprint-proof stainless steel skin that are appearing after just a few months of ownership. Aside from one where I can see a pantry door knob came in contact, we have no idea how any of the others came about. The material seems to be too thin and soft, compared to what another family member has in their kitchen (and is holding up very well after several years.) I'm not optimistic for the future appearance of this appliance.

i love this fridge. it's so spacious and being able to store gallons of milk on the door is such a space saver...who would've thought. we've had the fridge for a little over 3 months and i'm happy with our decision. however... the water pitcher, which i love, leaks when pouring. it makes such a mess. i called and samsung sent me another pitcher, but same thing. after about 2 weeks of use, it leaks when pouring get water everywhere! i hope they fix what must be a design flaw or manufacturing defect and let us know because i don't want to not love this fridge. also, i do like the freezer and shallow draw, i just don't think they pull out far enough to easily access the items further in those spaces. maybe i'm doing something wrong.

The most poorly designed shelves and drawers I’ve ever seen in a fridge. They plastic is so cheap something breaks every time we take a shelf out to clean. Lots of hard to get to spots that catch and hold vegetable scraps. Brittle plastic and bad design, need to watch a tutorial every time you want to do more than wipe a shelf.

Our biggest issue is with the wide deli drawer underneath the crispers, as the fit and finish on this drawer leaves much to be desired.  Either the side wall rails need to be in closer, or the drawer needs to be made wider.  Because of the poor design, it is fairly easy to have the drawer become wedged diagonally as illustrated in the photo, and to take a number of attempts to close the drawer after use.  The freezer offers the flexibility of accommodating tall items in between the top drawer and the front door.  However, there is not a place for small items to be placed without the risk of getting lost in the basket among the larger items.  A suggestion would be to put a removable rectangular wire basket either on the top of the freezer door, or hung it from the top drawer.

Desperate, I needed to choose a refrigerator that was in stock and could be readily delivered. Pros: this fridge has a sleek exterior and is easy to keep clean. There is a water jug on the inside door, which fills automatically, and is a handy feature. A strong reason for purchasing this model was the 10 year warranty. Cons: I'm short, so the top door bins are useless for me as I can't reach inside them. The ice bin takes up a lot of space, and if the ice bin is full, cubes can fall out onto the floor (in the rear of the fridge, where they can't be picked up). The freezer door lifts as you open it which takes some getting used to. I initially felt that the handle was breaking off.

Our refrigerator is 2 years old. Already had to be replaced within months after purchasing, one door wasn't closing properly. The water pitcher leaks. Even after getting a replacement. Three times. Now we have a huge issue with the newest water filters not being the right size. They are smaller than the originals, there's a 1/8th inch gap now. And it leaks. Samsung keeps insisting we just need to keep purchasing more filters. We will never buy a Samsung appliance again.

Totally in love with the French door design, it has so much more functionality than the other style. We had a get together the other day and i had room for all the trays of food, the sodas,, the cake, as well as all the normal stuff I usually have in the fridge. It has a fingerprint resistant finish that is AMAZING! My 4 year old grandson is infamous about leaving fingerprints everywhere, but the front of this one is still showroom shiny! The interior has LED lights, there are no dark corners or places for food to hide. Even the bottom drawer of the fridge is well lit. The freezer drawer is easy to open and very accessible. The ice tray is conveniently locqted for easy access. The only downside to this model is I wish the autofill pitcher was larger or that I had a spare.

The cold water pitcher inside is much better that the outside door spiggot that we had before. The refrigerator is completely functional and it is attractive. We purchased staingless steel wipes for the exterior and they work perfectly. The fellow who installed the unit said to make sure to wipe the outside with the grain - which is a good thing to know.

Used it for almost 8 years. Works great. Easy to see items with glass shelves. Large capacity. Nice pure water and different shapes of ice (crushed or cubes). Drawers for freezer are large, convenient and can adjust inner shelf width. Filter replacement can cost up to $80 or $100. Fridge stopped working one day suddenly. Found out it was on warranty but lost all the contents and still paid for parts. I would buy it again.

The only reason for not giving 5 stars are: 1. The auto-fill pitcher leaked upon delivery and had to be replaced. This was handled swiftly. 2. I have noticed a small collection of ice buildup on the top of the freezer drawer in the center. This should not be happening and I will address with customer service

I was told not to purchase a Samsung unit because they tend to have issues but I have a Samsung Washer and Dryer that is 2 years old and have never had problems with them either. The only option I would add is the Ice and Water. This has ice in the bottom drawer but not the water. I will continue to purchase Samsung in the future.

I bought this model a little over a year ago. And while it hasn't broken down in any way, I wouldn't buy it again. There are three main problems: 1) The shelves on each side of the refrigerator MUST be at the same level. Unlike most refrigerators these days, you can't have one side higher or lower than the other. 2) I LOVED the idea of having a water pitcher that would refill inside rather than having to hold a large pot or container underneath a valve outside the refrigerator. Unfortunately, the pitcher leaks. It leaks so much that I probably lose about a third of the water into the sink–since I know that I have to have the pitcher over the sink when pouring. 3) The freezer is too small. The refrigerator size is just fine, maybe even slightly larger than needed. But I am having to buy a separate freezer because the current freezer doesn't have enough space.

My only complaint is the water pitcher, which started leaking when after only about 3 months. I knew this was a common issue. I tried to order a replacement but it isn't easy. I had to put in a repair request and they wanted to send a technician, and I thought that was silly so I just fixed the pitcher. I put plumbers tape under the seal on the pitcher, replaced the seal and it no longer leaks. The other issue with the pitcher is that it doesn't always refill. Sometimes I have to go in and kind of shake the pitcher and readjust it so it will fill up, and it never really fills up all the way. I bought this style because I was tired of the water dispenser in the front door always leaving water drips down the front of my fridge, but I wish I would have gotten that instead.

i wanted to love this fridge. super spacious, bright led, refillable pitcher, and the list goes on. this fridge was delivered on dec. 19th on the 23rd the compressor died and everything in it, including our christmas dinner had to be thrown away. we are getting a replacement, but that doesn't pay for the hundreds of dollars we had to throw away. i am really disappointed in samsung!

Love everything about it! I love how I can adjust the shelves and how easy to clean the inside. I would have given 5 stars however, if I change the water filter, the red light is still ON telling me that I need to change the water filter. Funny but I’m obsessed with the ice it produces, like to chew and eat them haha

We had a side by side before this, and even though the outside is roughly the same size, this one has so much more usable space. The large shelves hold bigger containers, and with the LED lighting there aren't any dark spots where things get hidden and lost. The stainless steel front is great, we have had my 4 year old grandson running around, leaving little boy handprints just about everywhere else, but not a mark on the refrigerator! I was worried because I wasn't sure if this model had an ice maker, but slide the freezer drawer open and there is the ice bucket! The only draw back is the small size of the auto-fill pitcher. We live in the desert and drink a lot of water, so the pitcher doesn't last long, and although it fills up quickly it isn't nearly cold enough for a little while. I wish this either came with a second pitcher, or still had the water dispenser on the outside, although I don't really care for the mess that creates either.

This fridge was terrible. We bought it less than three years ago and it quit keeping things cold. We paid to get it “fixed” and it still didn’t stay cold. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this new Samsung Fridge! The ice maker is internal and makes quite a bit of ice. The fridge comes with a water pitcher that you can also use to infuse water with. The controls are also on the inside of the fridge which cuts down on all the touching and accidental changing of fridge or freezer temps. The doors open wide with plenty of door space for condiments, juice, milk, etc. The shelves inside the fridge lock in place and are easy enough to remove to clean or move around to address different carton sizes and food items. My favorite part of the fridge is the extra drawer. So you have your Veggie and Fruit drawer and a third drawer which we use for our sandwich essentials. It makes a huge difference at lunch time! The freezer has its drawers split out in 2 levels as well and which lets us separate out our frozen fruit and vegetables with our meats and pre-packed meals. All in all I am extremely satisfied with this fridge and wouldn't hesitate in purchasing it again.

Like so many other purchasers, we bought this refrigerator almost exactly 2 years ago -- and now the internal fan noise is awful. On this model, it is NOT an easy service -- worse than most Samsungs. I would recommend avoiding this fridge.

this unit had a critical failure at just 18 months post purchase which falls outside of the warranty, it needed a new fan which is how the unit is able to cool your food..... as well as six leaking autofill pitchers. never again.

There are many signs of thoughtful design. The shelves seem sturdy; the plastic door shelves are thicker and stronger than on my last refrigerator. The cooling part on the top is well-organized. The three drawers offer good storage. The interior lighting is pleasantly ‘cool.’ The outside has a clean look without the dispensers, control buttons and display visible. The finish on the doors doesn’t show fingerprints the way my old fridge did. Also, the finish has a subdued reflective quality that produces a reflection of, say, the clock on the stove opposite the refrigerator, that runs the entire height of the front doors. (That's the picture with a blue line.) It’s actually kind of beautiful. Water pitcher inside: You don’t have to stand there while it fills your glass or bottle. It fills the pitcher and cools the water while you are doing something else, and then it’s ready for you at all times. Note: the pitcher is a little heavy for my 11 year old son.

I bought two of these refrigerators in June of 2021 for my employee lounge. Both refrigerators failed in the last month. Can't reset them and the warranty is kaput per Samsung.
