Galaxy Watch - Change Ring and Notification Tones (SM-R800 & SM-R810)
Have you ever thought an alert was something important, but it was really just a Facebook update? Thankfully, you can customize the ringtones on your watch depending on the type of alert: Ringtone, Media, Notifications, and System. You can also adjust the vibration and volume settings for these different alerts. That way, you won't ever get mixed up again.
Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.
Maybe you should give your phone calls a really bombastic ringtone and give notifications a lowkey one. Here's so to set different alert sounds to match your preferences.
From Settings, touch Sound and vibration, and then swipe to and touch Ringtone or Notification sound. Next, select your desired sound for the alert.
If you like to keep your watch on vibrate, don't worry. You can adjust the type of vibration, so you'll still know the kind of alert that's going off.
From Settings, touch Sound and vibration, and then swipe to and touch Ringtone vibration or Notification vibration. Next, choose the vibration style you want.
Even with a different alert sound, all those Facebook notifications are driving you crazy. No worries, you can turn down the volume for notifications, but still keep phone calls and other alerts at max volume.
From the watch's Home screen, swipe down from the top and touch Volume. Swipe to the left or right to select your desired type of alert. Rotate the bezel to adjust the volume for that. To go back to the watch's Home screen, press the Back key.
