Galaxy Note9 - Block or Unblock Phone Numbers (SM-N960W)
You can prevent anyone you want from contacting you by adding them to a block list. Once the number is added, a call is automatically ignored and forwarded to voicemail. Just keep in mind, this function does not prevent an unsolicited caller from leaving a voicemail message - you will need to contact your carrier for that. Our guide will help you manage your block list on your Samsung phone.
Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.
You can manually add a number to your block list using the Phone app. Navigate to More Options and then Settings. Touch Block numbers. Use the on-screen keypad to enter the phone number you want to block, and then touch the Add icon to add it to the list.
Have you noticed the same phone number calls you over and over again? It’s time to take action and stop spam calls. From the Recents section in the Phone app, touch the phone number you want to block and then touch Details. Touch Block number to add the number to the Block list. It’s that simple!
If you changed your mind, you can remove a number from your block list using the Phone app. Navigate to More Options and then Settings. Touch Block number. Touch the Remove icon to remove the corresponding phone number from your block list.
