This larger screen was a family gift and I appreciate the clarity of the screen (43 " but sits nicely on top of a piano. and great sound. However it took so long to hook up with cable ( day 1 threough day 10 that I have lost tract of what SMART HUB even is.. an old fashioned paper manual would be easier than trying to figure out how to use it. (for example ,, Closed captions are so inconsistent that I could spend all day just trouble shooting it (solo senior here whose family techs have been better than Telus whose network internet, cell and TV I m.on . One of these days I ll figure it ouy. but I m sure its great for tekkies. t.

I've been very impressed with my Samsung TV. The picture quality is incredibly sharp, with vibrant colors and deep contrast that make movies and sports enjoyable to watch. I bought it in February 2026 it’s currently July 2026 and I have to say it had been a great product and great purchase on my end! I haven’t had a single issue whatsoever it’s truly been great! I don’t think I would change anything about it it seems to run fast and have a great software system that keeps everything up to date and running smoothly at all times. I love all the little things in settings that you can personalize and make your own in ways I didn’t know where possible!! Again it’s truly a great product and I actually did recommend it to my family friends!!

I have been enjoying the TV… but sometimes it goes blank (all pink) until I hit the home button. And, it doesn’t really switch to game mode when I turn on my PS5, it does switch 70% over 100%, sometimes after turning on my ps5 I switch to game mode manually. Else, it’s a good product and I am still enjoying it.

I had a previous Samsung from 12 years ago and it finally wasn't working 100%. SO I upgraded to an 85" better TV and its amazing and the picture is crisp and clear and the sound is crisp. The low price was the best part for this size and quality TV.

I am not happy with the resolution whatsoever. I am not happy with the TV. I would like to return it and I wouldn’t mind buying another Samsung but I want to bring this TV back.

Love the TV the reason for 3 stars is I had an identical TV that lasted only 4 years and then picture went blank but audio worked, that TV had an optical insert for my external speaker hook up, this new one doesn’t have that . If I’d known that I wouldn’t have purchased the new TV.

I’ve been using the Samsung 70” U7900 Crystal UHD TV for a little while now and I’m honestly really impressed with it for the price. The picture quality is sharp, bright, and the 4K upscaling makes even older shows and sports look much better than expected. Colours look natural and HDR content really stands out, especially when watching movies at night. The size is perfect for a living room setup and the slim metal design gives it a much more premium look than I expected. Setup was quick and easy, and the Tizen smart system runs smoothly with Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and everything else I use daily. Overall, this TV feels like an excellent value if you want a big 70-inch 4K smart TV without spending a fortune. Definitely happy with the purchase so far.

This TV has had connectivity and performance issues since the first day of use. I replaced the router, modem, and even changed the internet service provider, but the problem continued. Other devices work fine on the same network. The TV frequently loses connection, apps take too long to load, and the screen sometimes stops working or freezes. After troubleshooting all external factors, it is clear the issue is with the TV itself. The TV appears to be defective and requires repair, replacement, or refund under warranty

We bought this a month ago and we are so happy. Replaced our 13 year old Samsung because some apps weren’t working anymore because of its age. This tv is very easy to set up. I only wish the hookup cord didn’t run straight out from the back

Had it for a few weeks and I miss my old TV. Remote is terrible, poor connectivity. Not enough ports. Randomly changes everything to Spanish and I have to reset it to change it back to English which I thought I specified during the very long and obnoxious set up process (makes you download some stupid app that also doesn’t work). It was a Xmas gift so pretty sure it’s past the return window now. Unfortunate as I feel I’ll be replacing this TV ASAP with something that actually works.

I purchased this TV to replace a TV that had just had a bad day also a Samsung this particular model had all the bells and whistles that i needed, great color ,sharpness ,contrast picture is clear and Bright from a lot of angles and easy to navigate the different features it offers absolute upscale product from the one it replaced in my eyes the best only got better.

Had this unit about 1/2 a year. I use for 3 specific connection types. Over the air digital transmissions which are received well and with wonderful clarity, SamsungTV and various other streaming apps, and lastly DLNA from home servers. Cannot appear to add DLNA servers to the main menu. You must take a couple of steps through "connected devices". One issue I have had was the channel up/down selection would kick me from a middle channel over the air back into Samsung TV instead of moving to the next over the air channel. The only resolution seemed to be removing and re-adding Samsung TV.The other issue was with bluetooth connected headphones. The connection would fail on occasion with a warbling sound. The only way to reset was a power on reset procedure with the unit by pressing and holding the power button. Menus can be a bit confusing for some setup tasks.

My first smart tv, so I have no complaints against it. The picture and sound quality was excellent. Setup involved going through some steps on screen, so it may not be ideal for those who aren’t good with technology. My only real complaint is the Netflix app, despite trying out different wifi’s and even tethering to my phone for a connection, we cannot seem to get the Netflix app to work properly. I’m not sure if others had issues with this.

Doesn't want to connect to 5Ghz. No issues with 2.4Ghz. Display is great but I don't like the fact that you have to sign into Samsung account to watch the TV. The resolution/picture quality is great for the price and the processor is fast enough for everything I need it to do.

Bought this tv about two weeks ago. Nice picture but issues with streaming. Image gets stuck in a loop and seems to skip back and forth. Have to go back and start program over, especially in NetFlix. Also, audio doesn’t always coordinate with mouthing. Again, have to go back and resume. Never had these issues with any other tv. Not too many options to adjust audio or colour. I guess one gets what one pays for.

Bought this tv 10 months ago and it is great. I love the smart TV side of it for ease of use of streaming apps. Picture is amazing, very bright but not too much when the room lights are off. Great value as well, I was looking for a 50 inch but the 55 inch was cheaper so went with it. I would definitely buy another if needed. I purchased the 65 inch model for the living room.

When I bought this new TV after my old one died I had no idea how many awesome features it had. I really like that it's a smart TV and all the unlimited movies that I can watch for free which is a great bonus. I even bought a controller to play games which I was never able to do before. The picture is very sharp and the best thing is the sound is great so I could do away with my old RCA soundbar that had to have a separate remote. I also love that the TV has a very nice small remote that's not clunky. I have only one complaint is that the Alexa app that is supposed to come with the TV was accidentally deleted instead of just reinstalled because it was not working and I can't get it back.

Blacks aren't as deep as expected. Ui seems clunky and awkward. Seems to process streaming requests slower than my 6 year old Google tv dangle.

Bought this about a month ago, had the tv connected to my Bluetooth speaker but the Bluetooth stopped working. It’s not the speaker issue because other devices were connecting fine to the speaker, just not the TV. I was able to connect my speaker via hdmi cable but that takes up an hdmi port spot. Thi was quite surprised to find out the TV does not have an optic cable port for audio. I thought it would be standard since my previous TV that was a decade old had the optic port. Also disappointed that it only had two HDMI ports. I can use an hdmi splitter of course, but that changes the quality a bit I find. Given the sale price I’m satisfied with the purchase but I might not buy this product again

I bought this two months ago and it’s been great! The only problem I have with the tv is that the responsiveness is kind of slow. I’m not sure if it’s the remote or the tv but it takes a bit for it to respond to the commands from the remote. But I love that I can use my Alexa to voice control the tv though!

The picture is fine. Sound quality is not the best, tinny sounding. When I turn the power on you can hear a clicking sound for a minute or two. Not fussy on the remote, it feels cheap. Built in app's not many and the Samsung channel is marginally good if you have no other options.

It's a great TV, but the contrast isn't the best. Even with it turned all the way up, I can barely watch the TV during the day. Great for dark rooms and night watching, with great picture quality for sure. It also doesn't allow me to connect to my Bluetooth speaker; initially it did, and then I couldn't anymore.

Great television but there's very few HDMI ports on the back of it which is a bit of a pain. There's only two ports which mean between the Amazon TV Firestick and the cable box we can't add any other sources to the TV through these ports. Otherwise a really good television for the price.

Second time this tv started flashing a black and grey screen, where it would turn on and off on its own. I unplugged the tv and waited 60 seconds to plug it back in still the same result. Tired a different outlet, same result, tested my surge protector power bar, works perfectly fine, plugged the tv back onto the power bar to have the same result. And yes I did a factory reset as well by holding the power button for 30 secs (with the tv unplugged) and went to plug it back in and same result. For a “smart tv” I’m disappointed. If you want a tv just for decoration at your house then this is perfect! As it becomes faulty

Looks great, sounds great, remote volume and channel toggles should help prevent factory remote degradation over time (which is greatly appreciated). Not many inputs, but enough for what I use it for.

It is hard to believe that we finally upgraded from our 43" SAMSUNG Plasma TV from the old days to this awesome 65" Samsung smart TV. Such a great choice as we were considering a 55" at first but glad we went with the 65". Having a young child in the family we take advantage of the Kareoke and games, everything is so sharp and clear and we love the interactive interface. We love that we can navigate the TV from our phone, no more Google Chrome that is consistently inconsistent. We love the variety of shows and movies on Samsung Plus and how easy it was to sign in to all of our Media streaming platforms. The color is perfect and can be adjusted depending on what we are watching. The brightness is also good and can be adjusted based on our preferences. Of course going from an old small Plasma TV to this giant "movie theatre" style screen had been an adjustment, but a very positive one, when taking into account the resolution and how crisp everything is. Overall we are very satisfied with this awesome immersive experience and how easy it was to set everything up when we first turned on the TV.
