Customise the Ringtone on a Samsung Phone

Last modified : Dec 06. 2019

Change up the Ringtone on a Samsung device by selecting a pre-loaded ringtone or use a custom music file. You can even select an individual ringtone for a specific contact; so when your phone plays a special ringtone you'll know who's calling. Need help customising your notification tones? Check out our guide How to set a music file as a Notification Tone on my Samsung Phone for step-by-step instructions.

If you would like to extend the number of rings before a call is sent to your voicemail, you will need to get in touch with your network provider as they will be able to increase the ringer length before your call is diverted to your voicemail.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you do have an international device and require further assistance click here to reach out to your Samsung subsidiary. Screenshots were captured from a Galaxy S10 5G operating on Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie), settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and Android OS Version.
