How do I enable Always On Display on my Samsung Phone?

Last modified : Sep 11. 2019

Always on display will help make sure you're always on time. You'll have at-a-glance access to the time, calendar, notifications and more, all without unlocking your phone. For step-by-step instructions on customising your Always on Display (AOD), check out our page Customise the Clock Style on my Galaxy Device. Select one of the drop down menus below to learn enable/disable and customise your AOD settings.

Please Note: The Always on display feature is only available on certain models. Please see the full product manual to determine if your device is capable of displaying on a locked screen.

Screenshots were captured from a Galaxy S10 operating on Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie), settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and Android OS Version.
