Google Play Store

The Google Play Store provides users with access to download many types of applications, or apps, and games to download and play on their smartphone or tablet. Some of the apps and games are free to download, while others cost a small fee.

The range of content available through the Google Play Store is:

  • Apps and Games for Android devices
  • Movies and TV Shows which you can buy or rent (requires installation of the Google Play Movies & TV app)
  • Music for purchase or streaming subscriptions (requires installation of the Google Play Music app)
  • Ebooks (requires installation of the Google Play Books app)
  • News and publication subscriptions

Please Note: To download apps from the Google Play Store you will need to be signed in with a Google Account. Click here for information on creating a Google Account. You are not required to add a credit card or any financial information to be able to download free apps.
