How to use AR Emoji on your Samsung Phone

Please Note: This guide is created for Australian variant devices. Screenshots were captured from a Galaxy Note10 5G operating on Android OS Version 9.0 (Pie), settings and steps available may vary depending on your Galaxy device and Android OS Version.

Create a new emojiClick to Expand
1 Open the camera app icon camera app
Head into your Camera app
2 Tap “More" at the lower-right side of the screen.
Tap more, located at the lower-right corner of screen.
3 Tap "AR Emoji" at the top of the screen.
Tap on AR emoji, located at the upper-right corner of screen.
4 Agree to the pop up permissions

5 Tap “Create My Emoji”.

6 Position your face inside the guidelines then tap on capture icon to capture

Select one of the icons – man, woman, boy or girl – and tap “Next”.

8 Start customising:
Start customising your emoji

name icon Name: Give your emoji a name.

looks icon Looks: Here you can customise skin tone, hair, facial hair, face, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, and ears.

clothes icon Clothes: Here you can select your clothes and shoes as well as purchase additional outfits from the Galaxy app store.

accessories icon Accessories: Here you can select headwear, glasses, earrings or purchase additional accessories from the Galaxy app store.

1 Tap on looks icon to begin to customise your AR Emoji.

2 Select Hair and choose hairstyle and hair colour. Continue to customise your AR Emoji with the categories at the bottom of the screen

3 Select clothes icon and select between Tops, bottoms, outfits and shoes

4 Tap on accessories icon and add Headwear, glasses or earrings.

5 Once you've finished customising your AR Emoji, tap on Next.
Tap on Next to save AR Emoji
6 Your AR Emoji will then be saved

1 Open the message app icon Messages app and create a new message.
head into the message app

Touch the enter message field and when the on-screen keyboard appears tap sticker icon Stickers. Here you’ll see stickers and gifs of your very own emoji.

3 Select your desired emoji.

4 Tap on Message icon to send your message.

Delete emojisClick to Expand

Follow the below steps to delete an emoji.

1 Open the camera icon camera and then tap More at the lower-right side of the screen.
Tap on AR emoji
2 Tap "AR Emoji" at the upper-right side of the screen.

2 Select Studio

3 Tap on people icon
Tap on the People icon
4 Select trash icon then tap on the AR Emoji you would like to remove. Once complete, tap on Delete.
Tap on the trash icon, select the emoji you would like to delete then tap on Delete
