Smart Switch makes it easy to transfer contacts, photos, messages and more from your old phone to your new Samsung Galaxy device. If you would like to learn how to transfer your data from your Old Galaxy device to new using a data cable please follow the below steps. 1 Launch Smart Switch on your new Galaxy device

Latest Galaxy devices already have Smart Switch pre-installed however, if you have uninstalled the app or if you are unable to locate the application within your apps tray, you can easily download from the Google PlayStore or Galaxy Store.

2 Allow the following Permissions
Allow permissions
3 Tap on Receive data
tap on recieve data
4 Then tap on Galaxy
Tap on Galaxy
5 Select Cable
Tap on cable
6 Connect your new Galaxy phone to your old phone using a cable

7 On your Old device tap on OK
Tap OK
8 Select the data you would like to transfer then tap on Next
Choose what to bring across, then tap on next
9 Allow the transfer to reach 100%. When advised, you will be able to disconnect the old Galaxy device to the new Galaxy device.

10 Once the transfer is complete, tap on Go to the Home screen and remove any connected cables.
Tap on Go to Home
