Starting Step Challenges via the Samsung Health App

Want to challenge your friends to a step off challenge or perhaps the world? Create or join a challenge via the Samsung Health app and compete with anyone wherever you are in the world. Follow the below guide to learn how to create a 1:1 Challenge with your Friends & Family or join a Global Challenge on your Galaxy Phone.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. Screenshots were captured on a Galaxy Note20 & S10e operating on Android OS Version 10.0 (Q). Settings and steps may vary depending on your Galaxy device and software version.

1 Launch the Samsung Health app

2 Tap on Together

3 Select Challenges

4 Select a Challenge you would like to join or create your own by selecting 1:1 challenge

5 Tap on to choose your friend or family member to challenge

Tap on Green Plus icon to add a challenger

6 Choose your friend or family member to challenge

7 Enter a Challenge title, Step Target and then select Send invitation

Add Challenge title, Step target and then select Send invitation

8 Once the invitation has been sent, you will need to wait for your friend to Accept the invite

Invitation sent, now awaiting response from friend

9 On your Friend's device tap on Accept

On friend's device accept the challenge to begin

10 When you friend has Accepted the challenge all steps will be counted and you will be able to view your progress
