Cameras on Galaxy A51

Choose the upgraded Macro Cam for highly refined close-ups, and make sure the subject always stands out with the Depth Camera’s multiple Live Focus effects. Follow the below guide to learn how to use the cameras on your Galaxy A51.

Depth Camera
1 Head into the camera app Camera app

2 Swipe to LIVE FOCUS
3 Adjust the Blur effect then capture your Live Focus photo

Ensure you stay within 1 - 1.5 metres of the subject.

4 If you want to customise or change your background effect simply head into your Gallery icon Gallery and tap on Change background effect on your Live Focus image.

5 Tap on Allow to the popup permissions

6 Choose between Blur, Spin, Zoom and Colour Point background effects and adjust the intensity of the effect. To save changes, tap on Apply.

Tap on Photo

4 To tap a photo simply tap on capture button

Ultra Wide Camera
1 Head into the camera app Camera app

2 Select PHOTO
Tap on Photo

4 To tap a photo simply tap on capture button

Macro Camera
1 Head into the camera app Camera app

2 Swipe across the camera modes and select MORE
3 Tap on Macro icon MACRO
Tap on Macro
4 Ensure your subject is within 3-5 cm
Ensure the subject is within 3-5 sm
5 Adjust the scale to increase or decrease the amount of light captured within the shot. Then tap on the capture button to take your macro shot.

6 Once you've captured your shot, you will be able to view within your Gallery.

Selfie Camera
1 Head into the camera app Camera app

2 Select PHOTO
Tap on Photo
3 Tap on Wide Selfie icon or Selfie icon to switch between selfie and wide selfie mode.

To capture a selfie, simply tap on capture button
