What is Smart Network switching?

The Smart Network switch enables your device to switch from an unstable Wifi network to use Mobile Data. It is an option present on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and 7.0 (Nougat) devices. To turn find the Smart Network Switch in your settings see the steps below: 

1 Open the Settings and select Connections
Open Settings
2 Select Wifi
Select Wifi
3 Tap on Advanced in the top right of the screen
Tap Advanced on the top right hand side
4 Select the toggle next to Smart Network Switch to enable the function
Toggle Smart Network Switch on or off
5 Once function is activated, you can also enable Aggressive Switching , which allows the network connection to switch over from Wi-Fi to Mobile data when your Wi-Fi connection is only slightly unstable.
