What can you do with the new Smart Hub

Try out the newly reorganised Smart Hub on the 2022 Samsung Smart TV to experience various content. Samsung-provided services and content have been organised into various tabs such as Media, Game and Ambient. Additionally, the Sidebar menu allows users to quickly and easily find functions such as Settings and Connected devices.

You can access the Smart Hub through the following three methods.

  • By pressing the Home button on the remote control
  • By existing the app or content source
  • With Voice Command

Note: The supported services, content, and functions may vary by country or model.

Press the left directional button on the remote to open the sidebar. You can move to the desired tab by clicking the icon of the tab you would like to move to on the sidebar.

You can run an app by clicking on the app tile found on the Media Home screen. Apps that are not on the Home screen can be found and installed through the APPS store or Search services.

By default, you can enter the Live TV tile from the media launcher. If you have a service provider, you may see your service provider’s logo tile instead of a Live TV tile.

You can watch Live TV by changing the source through the sidebar. Select Menu and then move to Connected Devices.

You can change device settings such as image quality, sound, network, etc.

•To use Settings menu, press the Home button on the remote control, then click Menu.

And then select Settings.

To access Quick Settings, press the Settings/123/Colour button on the remote control, then click the up directional button.

Quick Settings can be used to quickly configure frequently used features.

You can change the settings faster and more easily using voice commands. Press and hold the Voice assistant button on the remote control and say a command, such as “Decrease image sharpness,” or “Change to standard sound mode”.

Note: The Voice Assistant feature is only supported on Bixby.

  • If you are having trouble with your Samsung Smart TV, you should always check to see if there are any software updates available as these may contain a fix for your problem.
